Alright, owing to the popularity of discussion just recently in the Band I came up with an idea for a Fandom Tournament. The way this is going to work is that each week I will post a thread with two Fandoms paired up and ready to battle it out. It's up to you guys, the Banders to vote on your preferred Fandom and post why you voted. If you're not sure, read through the arguments for and against each Fandom. Red Ajah would be organizing International Women's Week in Tar Valon, a sub-board of White Tower. Our theme is Crimes Against Women. It is an important topic that needs to addressed. So it is my humble request that you take out a little time to visit this event and helping in spreading awareness about what women are suffering around the world in this so called equal society.

I'm doing a paper for school where I am using the Wheel of Time as a social commentary, specifically utilizing the Deistic aspects of the series, as well as some philosophical points made in AMoL. My main problem is I only have two pages to summarize the series... I need a person or two to read my summary and tell me if it adequately approaches the series, based on my specific approach. As some of you may have noticed, we had a visit from Tina of the Black Tower and she absconded with 2 kegs of MG Brew. See here One of which I highly suspect was a secret stash of Sangia.
