I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro, and it was running like a dinosaur. After talking to the IT guy at work and someone else who did it, I followed the advice of a CNET.com article I read and upgraded my HDD to an SSD. And just like that, my computer is faster than it ever was when it was brand new... Not only can I now open a program and not wait a couple minutes for it top open, but I can switch users, having everything fully functioning in 7 seconds (previously 2-5 minutes). We are planning to do a music cagematch soon, and a while ago I asked for nominations. Well, they're all in, but we have way too many! Today was my final day of duty after ten years in the U.S. Army. My discharge is official in a couple days, but I am done, and now I am fully out-processed. Which means I am now free to not shave! I will keep a grizzled look until my high school ten year reunion next month, but then, watch out world, I am growing a beard!

After many too many years of German (thankfully in high school and in college, so an easy pace), and one absolutely painful year of Greek... I just finished a semester of Hebrew last night. I'm telling the world, I am DONE with foreign languages! Never again! That is all.

In January we are going to start a Music Cage Match as we try to find out who is the favorite Band of the Band of the Red Hand! Until then, we are accepting nominations. Who is your favorite band?
