So, for those of you who are new(er) to DM, we started a tradition last year where we get all of the Social Groups together in one place and show off. We've scheduled this one for the end of February next year (to give everyone LoA to read the last book time!). However, we need to work on planning EARLY. The way it works is that each group has two threads, one WoT related (ie, it needs to relate to the Kin somehow!) and one that just represents US. So... ideas? (PS, I'm putting this out in public because I'm welcoming ALL advise here! I don't care where it comes from!)

The rules of this game are simple: you make a wish and the next poster grants it by completely turning it on its head. Example: I wish for world peace. It is granted by the complete extermination of the human race. Got it? I wish for an Italian hoagie.

Hello! My name is Nicana or Nica, whichever you want to call me. I've been a member of DM since last April. I'm in several of the other Orgs and have been lurking the Kin for awhile now. Figured it was time to join. A little about me: I'm married and have two kids, my son is 18 and my daughter is 17. I just quit working back in July and spend my time taking care of my home and family. I enjoy all genres of music except one. I don't like rap. I enjoy reading mystery and fantasy novels. I like to crochet, cross stitch, and work plastic canvas. I'm a laid back person and I love to laugh. Want to know more about me just ask.

It's Opening Day!!! We've got a round of first games under our belt! Who looks good this year? Do you prefer College or Professional football?

Throughout the month of January, the Aiel will be hosting a Culture Fair!!! This month will be focused on the music of various cultures. The different booths will discuss the place that music had in their respective cultures in the past, as well as how the music has changed and evolved over time, and what it is now. Everyone is welcome to join us, explore the threads, participate in discussions, play games, and perhaps even host your own booth!!! The event will begin on January 6th and run throughout the month. If you are interested in hosting a booth, please PM me which which culture you'd like to represent and I'll give you the run down on what you'll be exp…

What would you like to accomplish in 2012? Whether you call them goals or resolutions, this time of year is made for thinking about what you'd like to get better at in the 12 months to come. So, we'd like to help you set those goals and support you as you work towards realizing them! Try to think of at least 3 goals you'd like to realize in the coming year and post 'em in here. As you work towards them, keep us posted and we'll help out as much as we can! If you see any way you can help someone in this thread out... Go for it!
