Happy Apple month! What? That's what September makes me think of. Apples! It's back to school time (one of my kids already gave me an apple from her lunch last week!), apple harvest time, craft show time... it's nearly my favorite time of year!!! *dances* So, what do you think about this month?

I say we because there were goodies for both Peanut and I in a big envelope from Ryrin today! There was a pre-k book and stickers that were immediately claimed by Peanut, And a puppirific bookmark of a beach with a pair of visitor books from Ryrin's home town! Go on... Be jealous!

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY, KIN SG! We are officially seven years old as an organization! I wanted to say than you to everyone who has ever been within the Kin's walls because whether you wanted to or not, you've made the place brighter with your presence. I am proud to be in charge of this lovely group of people, and if you're new and haven't dived in to the greatness of the Kin, yet, I welcome you to do so. First, let me say, as a shawl-wearing Brown, that this party MUST take place in... Here. :) This is the University Club Library in New York, just in case you've never seen it. I felt the little niches created by the shelving arrangements would make great little party-centers. Each one has a different genre theme (and different food!). Come on in and sit a spell! Party time #2! I love movies! One of the things the Kin did when we were a young little group was MSN chats while watching the same movie!
