The ACW is currently creating a DM SG Board Game. This game will depict all of the Social Groups on DM and be playable for all. To ensure that all social groups are represented accurately, we will be needing your input. To make helping us more tempting, there are awards for the most helpful SG's. Here's what's cooking for the Kin this month! It's CONCEPTION MONTH at the Kin! (That's not as naughty as it sounds, btw).

Even plants have personality! SO, which one fits yours and why? My favorite plant is a Calla Lily, preferably a white one. This fits my personality, because it represents everything I want to be. The stems are thick and strong, pushing the flower up almost 18" in most plants that are properly taken care of. The flower is a gentle twist of a single petal; simple but elegant. It's used for extremely formal occasions: weddings and funerals mostly. I chalk this up to the quiet grace and the almost never ending look of the twisted petal. The flower offers soothing calm and comfort and begs you to reach out and touch the silky curve of its petal. Yeah, waxin…

Anyone up for an exchange this month? We didn't have much in the way of takers last month, so I thought I'd give it another shot this month. The choices are: Seeds/bulbs- where we mail each other seeds/bulbs. This may be a problem with the number of out of country peeps we have and what they'll let through customs, but we can give it a go if there are other green thumbs besides me! Spring Things- this doesn't necessarily mean things related to the time of year. So, I got the idea from this: Braided Head band- via "PS- I made this" So, Peanut and I went shopping this weekend and we bought ribbon to make these head bands. A wider ribbon (1/2"), a thinner ribbon (1/4"), and a glittery thin ribbon (mine is a metal purple rick-rack) and a pony tail holder (I had some that I hadn't used that were too small for my thick pony tail, so I used them!). Total material cost: $5 (I got the ribbon on sale at Michael's!) per headband. It's pretty simple, I think. A few years ago, we tried matching folks up who would be interested in being pen pals. You know, the good, old fashioned, write a letter, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it and put it in the mail kind of pen pal. I've only had one successful pen pal relationship and even that fell off after about a year. :( So, would anyone else like to have some snail mail to make you smile from a friend who is consistently in your mail box? If so, post here and we'll see about getting matched up! Also, if you'd like to keep it within the states (postage can be a pain to calculate overseas), just let me know and I'll do my best to make that happen! :)

March is our traditional celebration of arts & crafts month here at the Kin. I would like this to be broad and cover things you can do and/or are interested in.
