ABC Family started their 25 Days of Christmas tonight with the Grinch! Tomorrow is The Santa Clause (7/6c and 9/8c) and I thought we could have a Kinwatch night! So, November is full of lots of things, but my personal favorite is National Novel Writer's Month. It's a really cool "contest" that happens every November where a whole bunch of crazy writers try to write a 50,000 word "novel" in 30 days. It's exhausting and requires lots of caffeine, but it's really fun and when you hit 50K, you do a little dance... yeah. fun. *grins* So, this month's question, regardless of whether you're writing this year or not (and if you are, please let us know!), is... For those of us in the USA, November is the month of a traditional holiday that involves an absurd amount of football, eating really good food and usually to much of it! It is also the day that says Christmas is only a month away and serious shopping starts the day after! At least that is the present day version! *grin* Traditionally, though, this was the day to stop and give Thanks for the bounty of the harvest and having food for the long winter, and giving thanks for family, friends and neighbors! I don't know about you folks, but one of my very most favoritist things is cooking the HOLIDAY FEAST! The more to feed the merrier! LOL Everything from the menu of the meal, to the snacks and the sweets, to the table decorations! Of course I've been doing this for about twenty years or so now, but it is still fun, and I add something new or try to each year just for fun! Of course there are some traditional things you just don't mess with! Ok so i was looking on line last night for free writing programs, for writing your own book, you know Word and works are great for maybe a report or such but I'd like better tools from tring to write a book. I found a couple and i know we have many on here who love to write so i was wondering if anyone has a program they particularly like, or may some to stear clear of Found one last night called spacejock or something like that, couldn't find any independant reviews that the creator didn't plant or creat sites to post them on for reviews. So what'c'ya'll think?

Loraine strolled into the TV Room in the Student Union, knowing it would be a blast. A sign on the door promised scheduled showings of Halloween goodness that would begin on October 19th, but had a few online videos running until then that were fabulous! She had to stop and watch a FULL EPISODE (there are 4 of them here) of Scariest Places on Earth and stayed to watch The Initiation of Sarah (THE WHOLE MOVIE IS HERE!!) at ABC Family.com. "OMG! Loraine ducked into the gaming hall in time to catch the beginning of a few online games. The students had partitioned off the computer lab of the Student Union into two sections, each computer loaded with a different website and a floating student assistant to help you navigate them. The other students quietly moved out of her way so she could begin cruising through Scooby Doo's Creepy Castle. She picked it out of the list of games hosted on the first set of computers' website. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is an upcoming 3-D fantasy-action/adventure film. It is the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. I'm just trying to recover from a really bad sinus infection and it's really knocked the wind out of my sails. I've been to the doctor already and I'm on a big, fat antibiotic and Prednisone, which is a steroid to reduce swelling in my poor nose. I just need some time to get back on my feet. BBL. <3
