I just finished watching this series and loved it! I was very sad to see it end. I thought it could have gone on for quite awhile, at least to see King Richard return! I really enjoyed the actors too. I thought the whole production was great. It had the right blend of action, drama, romance and comedy for me. I do think season 3 was my favorite, though I missed Marian. Has anyone else watched this? What did you think?

So there's been this DM Fantasy Football (by football I of course mean the American version for any of you dirty foreigners getting ideas) League for nigh on 8 or 9 years or some such. So I started watching this thinking "Doctor Who spin off, it must be good". Is it just me or does anyone else find this show to be poorly written and acted? To have spun off from such an awesome show this one is really falling short on quality. When did super awesome Captain Jack become such wimpy sap?

I didn't like the Trade Federation or the Seperatists motivations because they seemed silly but I thought the Battle Droids themselves looked pretty cool. Seeing all of the different varieties go up against Clone Troopers in Geonosis and in episode 3 was good. Plus with the likes of droidikas you got the sense of threat and although the regular battle droids were...dumb..I kinda thought that was cute and okay for Star Wars. Like in New Hope with how dumb the stormtroopers actually are and behave "Close the blast doors! Open the blast doors!". What did other people think of them? ps. On a related note. I just pre-ordered a copy of Europa Universalis IV and got a free copy of Crusader Kings II. Since I already own Crusader Kings II, I thought I'd give the extra copy away as a gift. Crusader Kings II is a pretty complex strategy game where you play as a feudal lord. You can start as a count, duke, king or emperor and use warfare, strategic marriages and intrigue to grow your dynasty's power. The learning curve is pretty steep, but it's really fun.
