Not sure how many of you remember this gem. Was an amazing strategy game and I had been looking forward to the remake ever since I heard about it. Now, I just want to cry... http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/09/syndicate-is-coming-back-as-a-first-person-shooter-hurray.ars Side note, I remember getting to the last level in the expansion pack (middle of the Atlantic base) but was never able to beat it. EVERYBODY had a freaking gauss rifle.

Reggie Bush has decided to give back his Heisman. I am split on this topic. I can see both sides. Technically he was ineligible at the time of the award since he took the "bonuses", so I can see taking it back. However, the monetary gains did not affect his play for the year. It wasn't like he took pills or shots to boost his performance. So I can see him not giving it back. So how do you see it?

So I've had Catherine for a bit ('bout two weeks). I've not really been playing it all that much, about a night at a time. I just beat it a day or so ago. I got the Good Cheaters ending, I think. So, thoughts on the game? I actually really loved the gameplay unlike a lot of other people. Fun, challenging, fast-paced, and different from most of what's on the market today. Or, alternatively, the most frustrating parts you encountered?

This morning at the age of 80 Mr. Steinbrenner, owner of the New York Yankees, suffered a major heart attack and passed away. Though I am a devoted Red Sox fan and avid Yankee's hater, Mr Steinbrenner was one of the greatest owners in all of sports, and turned around one of the most loved (and hated) sports franchises in the world. Under his ownership the Yankees won 7 World Series' and have been in contention every year. The baseball world would be entirely different today if not for Mr. Steinbrenner, he will be missed.

Diego Maradona's reign as Argentina coach has ended, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) has confirmed. Maradona admitted he wanted to stay in the job ahead of a meeting with AFA president Julio Grondona on Monday. But, after Maradona rejected demands to change his backroom team, the AFA voted not to renew his deal and made under-20 coach Sergio Batista caretaker boss. Argentina crashed out of the 2010 World Cup finals at the quarter-final stage, where they lost 4-0 to Germany. A statement on the AFA website read: "Mr Julio Grondona made the members of the executive committee aware of the conversation with Mr Diego Maradona, setting out the points which had c…

Have you played Mass Effect? Have you played splinter cell? Basically this game is both games combined. You sneak around and try not to be noticed.. or run at the guards and unleash your arsenal. The way the game is like Mass Effect is you level up your character as you play, it is an open world and you can choose how to interact with NPCs. You actions will determine the outcome of the game. So if you REALLY like Splinter Cell, I would say this game is right up your alley. Drawbacks: Like every game, the AI is dumb. I can be on a corner with my head poking out and the AI looking right at me will not notice me. When I take on all the guards and they are …

SouthPeak Interactive just released a Two Worlds II developer diary, and it's pretty revealing. Two Worlds II creative director Scott Cromie speaks about the first game, and is frank about the struggles TopWare had in creating the Xbox 360 version, which wasn't as polished as it should have been. Still, Cromie appears to be excited about the sequel, which he feels will correct many of Two World's flaws. We have to say, what we've seen so far look much better.

Hi there! I´m in need of help =/ Around 15 years ago... I played a game that was great! Now I want to play that game again but alas I have no recollection whatsoever of the name of the game. The gameplay was something like this: Your goal was to find keys (green, red, yellow, or blue) and with those keys you could advance to the next level or open doors. Most of the time the actual levels were build up like mazes. They keys could be hidden behind walls. You could press the spacebar and revel secret passages that led to other rooms were the keys were. You could only open a green door with an green key. Sometimes the door itself wasn´t green but the walls near…

I used to play WoW, and I thought it was okay. I played it off and on, because it didn't seem to keep my interest. I then tried the trial for Aion, and wasn't really impressed. But then around a month ago, I started my trail for RIFT. It was so easy to learn the particulars of the game, and there are so many different things you can do with your character. I've also gotten to the highest level in this game that I've ever gotten to in an MMORPG (Level 41). So I was wondering if any of you also played RIFT. If so, are you Defiant or Guardian, and what server do you play on? If you don't play, but are interested in trying it, you can do so here.

Thoughts? Predictions? Good odds? A tough one to call. On thier day, Barca are unbeatable, but after the WC, a lengthy and draining Liga season, and off the back of a trying 4 games against Real Madrid in the past little while, it is not the strongest Barca ever seen right now. Manchester Utd however are in thier element, typically strong in the close of the season. Thier form for me will depend on how the game goes against Chelsea this weekend. A loss and the league title becomes a lot more work for them, however a victory pretty much means the first team can take a minor break to rest up for the final. It's at home, too, so I think it will be a tight victory. …

anyone besides me a college hoops nut? My favorite sport you can find on TV regularly. Faves starting out probably looked like MSU, Duke, Kansas, Pitt, another random Big East team, and perhaps a "dark horse" akin to Butler. Right now, Ohio State, Duke, Pitt, UConn, Kansas (maybe), and probably Texas, with a possibility of San Diego State or BYU making a long run. I'm a Texas fan, and I watched this season start with a healthy dose of skepticism after last year's wreck. This group is playing far better as a team now and they have a mental toughness that last year lacked. We lost three to the draft last year, and given that I thought we'd be in the tourney with…

Coming off of yet another solid season, what do the Steelers have to do to stay on top of the AFC? 1. Cornerback: This was a painfully evident need in the Super Bowl. Ike Taylor is a very underrated player, but outside of him, the Steelers’ defensive backfield lacks star power and really lacks talent overall. Bryant McFadden was a fine stop-gap for a year, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see this team address the cornerback position with their first pick, and there will be some solid guys available. It’s an area of their team that they have not really addressed with a high pick in the draft since Troy Polamalu in 2003. 2. Offensive line: The Steelers have lon…

Are there any college football fans on here? I am a diehard Iowa fan. It was a tough loss this weekend but I was impressed with AZ. They are a pretty good team but I think on a neutral field in a game that didn't end a 1:30 in the morning Iowa time, Iowa would win a rematch. Looking at the rankings, I think that Alabama is pretty good but I don't think their good enough to hold on to the #1 ranking. I think OSU is way over ranked. I watched them against Ohio and they might have blown them away but they still struggled with their running game. That's going to hurt them big time in the B10. I also think that Denard Robinson is the most overrated player in the countr…
