Hello Everyone! This is my first post ever here, so I hope I'm in the right place. I'm thinking about getting the old WoT pc game, but I don't want to waste $15 if its not compatible with my system. I've read reviews of it, and even though it's plot is way out of sync with the novels, it still looks interesting. I have a Pentium 3400 dual core processer and 3 gigs of ram running Win. Vista. The deal is, the games OS requirements are: Win95, Win98, and Win ME. Do you think Vista is backward compatible that far? Are there patches that can make it compatible? I feel so in the dark about this. I know SOME of you out there have played this game, so could you help a …

Eclipse came in dressed completely in black. It was rare that he wore his official Org Leader uniform outside of the Black Tower. He smiled as he saw Empy coming over to greet him. Thanks for having us Empy, you have no idea how much this means to me! Producing a lemon pie from under his cloak, Eclipse smooshes it into Empy's face You look marvelous! HUZZAH!!!

I've been avoiding DM lately. Not for any particular reason...except that I just wanted/needed a break. I'd occasionally glance at the link in my bookmarks and think about clicking on it, but I never got around to it. Anyway, I was poking around on YouTube the other day, sifting through all the cats falling off things and people who think they can sing (and who think we want to watch them do it), when I came across a video of Matt. And it is because of Matt that I return to the 'Chan...to share him with all of you. Now, you may be asking yourself, "who the hell is Matt?" Well, to answer that question I need your attention for the next four and half minutes. So minimi…

Katalyst Ashton Kutcher's tale about a couple youths looking to reinvent themselves after a childhood filled with mischief and mayhem. Good Girls Basically all I can find on this is it's a freinds-esque comedy from a purely female central cast. Miami Trauma The title says it all... Doctors in Miami. I doubt that 3/4 of their cases will be spring break related though, that'd be too true to life. Accidentally on Purpose Is "based on the autobiographical novel by Mary F. Pols about a San Francisco movie critic who has a fling with a younger man -- and accidentally becomes pregnant". Waiting to Die It's from the producer of Arrested De…

A little harder than the movie quote game but just as fun.... basically I am going to post a frame from a movie. Everyone can guess and if you get it right, then you post a picture. So on and so forth.... If you do not want to go, I will post a new picture for you. Hint: A good idea is not to link it to the site you find it as doing a property search will be a giveaway.

The Bad: Note: Most of the reviews are going to pan the ending. If you don't already know or want to be suprised by the ending... well... don't read. I am even saying this to those of us that read the comic book... because... it is different.

Think you might have a good tale to tell? Maybe you've been waiting to show the world that you're the next RJ! Well, you're time has come. The Illuminators Org has just kicked off our writing competition, Illuminator Idol, and its open to everyone on DM. Here's the link to the rules thread: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,39174.0.html Here are the basics: Each week I will post two flash-fiction (1,000 words or less) stories. They will be presented on a vote-thread, as they were submitted to me. The authors will not be listed. They will stay posted for one week, after which a winner will be named and the next two stories posted. If you h…

ABC has announced that its generally crappy and ratings-challenged sci-fi cop series “Life On Mars” won’t get a second season. The good news for fans is the network is letting the show’s producers end with an episode explaining how the lead character, a 2008 cop, wound up in 1973. (SPOILER!! In the British version of “Life On Mars,” the cop wakes up from a coma in the final episode, but discovers he liked it better in 1973 and decides to commit suicide – which somehow returns him to the past.)

Let us know which of these movies you though was THE movie of the month of January. Bride Wars The Unborn Not Easily Broken My Bloody Valentine Defiance Paul Blart: Mall Cop Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Inkheart Outlander The Uninvited Taken New in Town I think I got them in date order, and got most of the decent sized releases. If I missed one let us know about it. I'm gonna vote for Taken. Liam Neeson was surprising in the action scenes, and drove the movie. Of course, insane with concern for a daughter's saftey isn't hard to pull off, his character is enough to give you pause. Alternatively, the concept of a daughter …

Well from that guy that writes Weekend Warrior over at Coming Soon... but I tend to agree... well there were some other terrible ones I would include as well... #25 - Deception (20th Century Fox) - Marcel Langenegger's long-delayed directorial debut with its ever-changing title starred Ewan McGregor as a guy who got involved with a casual sex ring run by a sleazebag played by Hugh Jackman. It was one of the many Fox movies this year that some critics were surprised that they actually screened it for critics. Surely they must have known this was a dog and were hoping that even bad reviews might help get it some attention, but that was not to be, as it ended up making …

I search but couldn't find any topics dedicated to the show here, I was wondering how many people here watch it. I never thought I would see a show as funny as friends, but it seems I was mistaken. All the types of humor rolled into one just caters to whatever you are feeling, from Alec Baldwin's dry and witty, to Tina Fey's crazy and corky it is just laugh after laugh for me. It is quite disappointing with the lack of any story though, I doubt I could watch these episodes more than a few times, unlike friends which I could watch whenever, forever.

Ok, so I'm a bit early, but it's slow in Hollywood for the time being, and I figured I'd take a look at the big summer releases. Lots of shiny scifi and popcorn Blockbusters, but little of substance to keep you riveted. Public Enemies looks to be one of the few, so here is a copy and paste of their description, and the buzz listed on IMDB.

German video game film-maker Uwe Boll (BloodRayne, Dungeon Siege, Alone in the Dark) was honored this weekend with two film awards. If you think I'm talking about the Oscars, you are wrong... and insane...and probably on drugs. Boll won two Golden Raspberry awards. It's the statues given out to folks who do a terrible job at making movies. While the Razzie for Worst Picture went to Mike Myers for his horrible The Love Guru (no surprise there), Uwe Boll took home the prize for Worst Director and also earned the honor of a lifetime achievement award, given for his cumulative body of terrible films. According to Razzies founder John Wilson, Boll is the "worst living dir…
