Ba'al travels back in time, and stops the Stargate from ever reaching the US, and tus completely rewriting history. SG-1 returns to this version of earth only to find things have radically changed. When Ba'al leads the other system lords in an attack on a defenceless earth, it is up to SG-1 to step up and save the day... Not sure what to say, I did enjoy it, though it felt more like an extended telly episode than a movie. The timetravelling theme has been done to death, but they had thrown in a few tidbits that made up for that lack of creativity. Worth seeing? Definitly. Imo much better than Ark Of Truth. Ok remakes are all the big hype right now. Sometimes it sounds like a good idea but in this case... why mess with a cult favorite? WHY! Will I go see this? It really depends on the reviews and trailers. I really can not imagine this being better than the original.

Did anyone see this? I think it premiered Sunday on HBO. It's a seven part miniseries based upon the book of the same name and follows the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion during the first weeks of the invasion of Iraq. After the first episode I'm not sure whether or not I'll like it. However, it was written and produced by David Simon and Ed Burns who created The Wire, so I'm hoping it will be good.

I don't know how many of you geek it out and watched the E3 coverage on G4 but yesterday Microsoft had their news conference. Let me start by saying that the demo for GoW 2 looks awesome. I was also impressed by the demo for Fable 2 which allows people to play coop in their own worlds. Anyway, I am talking about the new avatar system coming this fall. Well all I have to say is Empy, my pitching came through again. And I was rather disappointed that I led for the majority of the week. I expected better. I won 7-3 Seggie faced off against the bro. So we've had Flavour of Love, which spun off I Love New York and Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School. And, of course, it had a sister production in Rock of Love, and now there's a spin off from I Love New York? And some other show called "I Love Money" or something like that, which seems to be a remake of Real World/Road Rules competitions populated entirely by former contestants of the above shows. Emp is so going to divorce me for even posting this.

Naughty Dog, famous for Crash Bandicoot, and Jak and Dexter, strayed abit from there cartoony type graphics, and from the classic action/adventure gameplay of bandicoot/Jak game series. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, is Naughty Dogs newest 'trilogy' they've invested there time in; The main difference is, They took the Tomb Raideresque game, Revamped it, Made it look better, Play better, and whats best of all? So my crappy little hometown actually got a movie a day early, which is something of a shock in itself. And that movie ends up being one of those summer blockbusters, Hancock. So I went to see it today, and really? I wasn't that impressed. The movie was made out to be a comedy, and to some extent, it was, but not to the extent that is expected. There's a lot of non-comedy as well. The story isn't bad, and the events are far more shaped to expanding upon Hancock's character than towards any actual story. My bout of baseball depression seems to have gone away with my win this week. Weird huh? First match up on the list is me vs muh Bro. This was a close match for most of the week, which thoroughly frustrated me as I REALLY didn't want to loose 2 weeks in a row. However when it came down to the clutch day my boys pulled me through with a 6-2-2 victory. Next on the docket was Empy vs. west tex. Sadly west could not pull out a performace against the team that is looking to be my #1 rival, like he did against me. This seems to be a trend.
