I was linked this article today. http://www.gamepro.com/microsoft/xbox360/games/features/164668.shtml Interesting read, when you compare those 4 games, compared to the previous multi-platform games. ;)

Here's another site that is streaming internet TV. www.hulu.com Unfortunntely, it's USA only. But there's several shows that are offered that I missed (like 30 rock) which I'm excited to finally see. And there's movies too! I haven't tried it yet, but I'll be trying it very soon, I'm sure.

The WB network is going to be streaming its old shows online. Now I can actually watch Gilmore Girls. And I can check oout Jack and Bobby which was apparently a great show that died in its first season. http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Wb-Gilmore-Girls/800035174

We've nailed the 21 q game from Empy and his rag tag band. :P Now its time for them to feel the heat and run the gambit of the Nine Moons Crew's answer to the challenge. ;D There's no way you will be able to win, but are you up for a go anyhow? I'll even check the board and answer on a daily basis. ;) :P

Apparently, Relic are thinking about it. The rights haven't been bought but Josh Mosqueira - lead developer of Company of Heroes, the most critically-acclaimed RTS in history - has been coming up with ideas. Creative Assembly would probably be a better fit, but they don't do licensed products. Relic - who also created The Homeworld Trilogy and the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series - are certainly the next best company to do it. Whether this turns into an forward-moving project or was simply one guy thinking out loud remains to be seen, but a cool prospect anyway.

So I watch TV shows. I had a nice life where my DVR was full and I usually had something to watch always. Then the writers strike came and I had to find alternative sources for my addiction. New shows had to fill the void. Here is what Empy discovered during this time.... Mythbusters is all new on Wednesday nights! Before the strike, this was a show I might catch once every few months. When I was flipping around and could not find something to watch... or really late at night when I needed something to fall asleep too. Now I have it on a series recording. Intervention makes me feel good about myself. I don't have sex with other men to get drugs, sleep o…

Heh, Heinrich von Schnitzel. This looks like it could be a fun game, though it seems EA and Dice are "influenced" by Team Fortress 2. It's also interesting that it will be completely free of charge. I guess there will be a lot of in-game commercials etc.

Its filled with a little techno-babble, but it definately offers an interesting concept, that is so 'simple' that I'm almost suprised that it hasn't been used to often. Though, I do have to wonder, how the wii/ps3/360 could actually Render said scenes like that. (they are all capable of that kind of thing, but the wii would be the only one that wouldn't require an accessory. ;)) I'm also thinking... My god, this could be fricken awesome when making stuff in 3d! ;)

Currently, this is set to record on my DVR because there is nothing else to watch these days. I have even started watching shows I would never watch... like Survivor and Intervention.... Here is what the critics say about this new show... USA Today gives it two stars (out of four) and says: … it's possible that part of the problem with Quarterlife is that they've observed their twentysomething characters too well. Fairly or not, there's a good chance many viewers will have a visceral, negative reaction to the show in the same way that some despised thirtysomething simply because they hated boomers. The bigger question is whether anyone of any age will…

I have a rule, about pre-ordering a game, several months before a release date. The most is ussually 1 month. This is specially true if the 'release' date is barely 'solid', constantly being pushed back. (Like anything valve makes) Well, I had no motiviation to pre-order MGS4 until around mid march. That is until I read this. Source Now the real question is, when and who do you pre-order this from, to get entered into the beta?! Btw, if you've kept up with MGS4, or even MGS:Online, then you'll know that almost all the stuff you can do in MGS4, you can do in MGS:O, Including hide in a box, and distract the enemies with porno magazines. ;D

Okay, so technically it's a short preview of a movie, but it reminded me of what life in Randland would have looked like if the Dark One hadn't been sealed away. Starring: The Dark One, of course ^^ (small warning for blood and gore added, just in case)

This is crazy, but the world famous family board game that has probably caused many a family arguement, Monopoly, will hit the big screen sometime in 2010 along with other board games. A deal has been brokered between Hasbro and Universal Pictures to allow this great game to come to the big screen. From the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7256573.stm I'm still at a loss on how a plot can be created for Monopoly, let alone a game like Battleships!

Feel free to join in. 1 minute and a half to go and I figured I would comment as I watch. I didn't watch the red carpet because I am not THAT into the awards. I am eating donuts and milk.... mmmm.... I like how the No Country for Old Men cast is up front. Ok preshow over... time for the awards. Yay John Stewart. Wait... commercials.... maybe I shouldn't post EVERY thought I have. To be honest, I am filtering out some thoughts. Mmmm... Hax is hot. Ok going to post now for a place holder. Again if you want to join me in a steam of consciousness post... well... I just heard about this Video Game, you can view the trailer Here. Some have commented that it looks like a cross between Stranglehold, and Kill Bill. I think it looks pretty good so far, assuming 'any' of that is 'in-game' and not all CG. Plus there is a lot of potential for Bewbs! :P

The XNA service is online and has it's first wave of homebrew/indie developed games out. The games are all limited time free trials, I think around 18 days. I've played Culture, which is a flowers vs weeds games, very pretty but not much substance. Downloads are available in the games store, but you must download the XNA package and then the game itself. The games are then available in the XNA tag in the arcade section of the games blade.

The movie rights to "John Dies at the End", that retarded horror novel I'm constantly peddling have been purchased by Don Coscarelli, the dude who adapted "Bubba Ho Tep" for the screen. You can read all about it at Fangoria. http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=5950 And you can read JDATE for FREE at www.johndiesattheend.com

For the past few months, Studio after Studio has fallen to Blu-Ray, Even an early adopter of HD-DVD got behind the Blu-Ray format. Currently, the studios who have gone exclusive to Blu-Ray are as follows, Disney, Fox, Warner, Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate and MGM. Thats 7 out of the 8 major Studios. We've also seen several retails falling behind Blu-Ray. (even including 'wohlsworth, which died in america?) So, whats putting the next nail in the coffin for HD-DVD?
