Okay how wicked awesome was the opening!!!! The plan crash from the others perspective. The rest of the episode was a little confusing but that is what I like about the show. Have I mentioned I really like Ben (Unhenry) as a character. I will have a recap tomorrow that I will post, something my friend puts together.

Seems our old thread got corrupted. Here were the things we were discussing about this upcoming season. Eric Roberts signs on as a new associate to HRG. Will you participate in the Heroes Experience (kind of like the Lost online game). They started it last night when HRG gave his card with his corp on it. http://www.primatechpaper.com - Access code is MT36 Your thoughts on the invisible man character. How can/will he help Peter? When will Hiro find his sword?

any late night watchers out there? Would you switch to Conan over Letterman? I am not a big Leno fan myself but do like Conan... it is way after my bed time though. NBC has locked up the services of Jimmy Fallon for some sort of late night project, which may or may not be the host of Late Night, when Conan O'Brien (thankfully) replaces Jay Leno as the host of The Tonight Show in 2009 (which can't come quickly enough). Fallon is close to Lorne Michaels, whose Broadway Video produces Late Night, and who would presumably have the opportunity to choose a successor to O'Brien. This doesn't necessarily mean it's happening, though. It just means that NBC wants to have …

BSG showrunners Ronald D. Moore and David Eick confirmed at an awards show in LA last night that Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica has been picked up by the Sci-Fi Channel and NBC. An official announcement should follow. More here. There is, naturally, a catch. As has been reported elsewhere, the SFC asked the BSG team to produce a straight-to-DVD movie that will be released before Season 4 starts airing. The movie will be more or less stand-alone and will take place earlier in the series' timeline, possibly involving characters such as Kat before they were killed off. However, the tight logistics under which BSG is produced means that the movie will have to be pro…

I admit, I am interested in the spy drama that is like Grosse point blanke.... love that movie. NBC greenlit three one-hour pilots on Tuesday, a cop show from "Law & Order" veteran Michael Chernuchin and "Rescue Me" creators Denis Leary and Peter Tolan, a spy dramedy from "The O.C." creator Josh Schwartz and a new take on "The Bionic Woman." The Hollywood Reporter says that "Fort Pit," from Sony Pictures TV and Leary's Apostle, is a drama with comedic elements set at one of the worst NYPD police precincts in Brooklyn with rampant crime where bad cops are sent to live out their careers and rookie cops with no connections are stationed. The project is based …

The Nintendo Wii may be the hot gaming console at the moment (at least according to your gandma, who loves Wii Bowling) but Bethesda software is not hopping on the Wii train right now. In an interview with Shacknews, Bethesda's Peter Hine said the reason his company's incredibly popular RPG Oblivion is coming to the PS3 and not The Wii is because the Wii just can't handle all that awesome. "Our philosophy is to [decide] what game we want to make, then determine which platforms can run that game," Hine said. "[Oblivion] is not really going to run on a Wii for example, but if it could we would put it there." So there you go. Sorry, Wii-heads. No Oblivion for you…

  22. Life on Mars is a BBC TV series which aired its first season about a year ago. The second and final season begins this week (Tuesday) on BBC1. BBC America has shown the show in the USA, but the creators of Ally McBeal and Boston Legal are making a US-specific version which should air in 2008 or 2009. It's a bit hard to describe, basically being a collision between a cop show and SF. The basic premise is pretty cool though. In the first episode, we meet Sam Tyler, a relatively young but highly-motivated Manchester policeman who is a bit of a stickler for doing things right. He even takes one of his best detectives off a case he's working on because he's developed a rel…

Please try to check it out on TNT if you have not seen it. A few questions to consider while viewing it: Could this make a good TV series? Is Joan Cusack only able to get a movie deal if her brother is the star? More importantly, does Joan Cusack get on your nerves as much as she gets on mine? What are John C…

Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has advised the citizens of the Omsk region of Siberia not to drink the yellow, orange, and green snow that fell earlier in the week. The precipitation in question is oily to the touch and has been said to have a rotten smell to it. How it took us so long to win the Cold War against people that have to be warned not to drink this stuff is beyond me.

Monsters and Critics reports that Harrison Ford may indeed drop out of the project. The story goes that insurance companies have refused to cover the 64 year old actor if he insists on using a real whip for filming. In order for Mr. Ford to be covered, the whip must be all CGI. This news has sat well with the aging Indiana, and he has stated that will not perform the role unless he is allowed to use his real whip. Do you think he is too old to play this role?

I kinda liked it when they lived in low-budget cramped housing yo.

In the interest of boosting sales for their troubled next-gen system, Sony is considering dropping the price of the PlayStation 3. Sony's senior vice president Takao Yuhara revealed that Sony's strategy was to have the games division break even by the end of the next fiscal year. ''Such factors, including price cuts to some extent, are factored in'' to the company's break-even plans," Yuhara told The Associated Press. When the cuts might happen, and how much they will be is unknown, but one thing is for sure: The whole Sony debate on the internet has becomes a little more interesting. The $600 price tag may be the number one factor that keeps people from purchasing a…
