Has anyone seen this? It's pretty awesome. The idea - The Beastie Boys gave 50 cameras to random audience members, trained them to use them before the show, and had them all tape the show. The footage is then edited into a concert video. I heard about it on NPR (Terry Gross from Fresh Air interviewed them.) Never did I think I would hear the Beastie Boys on NPR.

Think GI Jane except with the Coast Guard. This is what the movie struck me as. I am not a huge Costner fan, and will even admit to liking (and owning) The Postman (ride postman... ride!), but Costner has not had much luck with movies since Dances with Wolves and Robin Hood. I was pleasantly suprised walking out of the movie and found myself enjoying the movie. Kutcher even made me like his character early on in the movie. I found myself laughing at the jokes and the characters but the movie tried too hard to pull at the heart strings. I think they could have cut off the last 20 minutes of the movie and I would have enjoyed the closure much better. All in all, a goo…

According to executive producer Brad Wright in an interview with TV GUIDE, Stargate SG-1 will wrap up its 10-year run this spring and then begin production on two feature films. MGM has given a green light to produce two films which would most likely go directly to DVD. The first film will tie up most of the finale's loose threads. "It's the climax of the Ori storyline," Wright said, and will be written and directed by executive producer Robert Cooper. The second film, written by Wright, will involve time travel, and both projects should debut in the fall of 2007. Though no deals are signed, SG-1's stars are said to be "very eager" to continue, Wright added. …

Anyone else out there watching Jericho? I admit it's not necessarily a brilliant show, but it is interesting in a Lord of the Flies meets Armageddon kinda way. I find myself oddly drawn to the show and have watched it every week thus far. It's not doing that badly in the ratings, either - just got picked up for a full season, which means even if it doesn't get renewed it'll hopefully at least have some closure. It's the only show other than Heroes to get a full-season order thus far.

What is this show? After 11 or 12 TBS decides to play this game where you call in and play these stupid games to win little money. And the hosts... they are awful. It is such a bad trainwreck I have caught myself watching this show more than once. Curse them! Anyone else come across this show? Thoughts?

Well at least in POTC 4. Here is the article (I like how they call his role a minor one). According to WENN, Orlando Bloom's character, Will Turner, will be killed off in the fourth installment of the Disney series PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. "The script for the fourth Pirates movie is being worked on and all the finances are in place but it was decided Bloom's character and a number of minor roles were not necessary to ensure it would be yet another box office smash for Disney," said a Disney insider to The Daily Star Sunday, a British tabloid. At this point I would chalk this up to mere speculation, but what do I know!

So due to time restrains, it looks like Dobby will not be in the 5th movie, which offers up some questions. How does Harry find the Room of Requirement? Don't worry, Kreacher is still slated to be in the movie.

So far, except for the minature crime scene, I am not liking this season. Actually the last season began losing me too. The show seems to be getting stale. Anyone else agree?

Starting tonight! Wee!!! I must confess that it took me quite some time to get hooked, but now this is one of the season premiers I've been looking forweard to the most. Especially since stupid Stargate decided to take a midseason break til next year. Grr!! So, what does everyone expect from the new season? The title, A Tale of Two Cities hints at focus being on those who got captured by the Others, and that we will get to know a bit more about them, finally.

So I am catching up on my Nip/Tuck and they keep flashing commercials for what I assume is a new show called Dirt. But they don't show anything!!! FX might be genius, because now they teased me with a pic of Courtney Cox and now I want to know more. Anyone else intrigued by this show or heard what it is about?

Who would have though? *g* I enjoyed the series and it actually kept my attention. I liked the supporting cast but the guy playing Blade was just awful. Basically it was like he was trying to be Wesley Snipes and that bothered me. I think this show would have succeeded if they brought Spike to the show (for the ladies of course). A little Buffy crossover :P

So I picked up this album about two weeks ago and at first I did not like it as much. Seeing as I am a huge BNL fan, I gave it a listen over and picked out three songs I just love now. The rest of the album is slowly growing on me as well. I think I would only recommend this album to other BNL fans though or fans of folk music as it seems they went back to their roots. Anyone have some new favorites thus far? I just checked out the pilot for Studio 60 on Sunset Stip and it immediately went on my DVR recording list. I also DVRed Smith and will check that out soonish. Eurika lost me somewhere, it never gripped me. I just deleted the entire season from my DVR. Gotta make room for the new season of Grey's.
