Acrophobia The Mod gives all the players an acronym, the first one being three letters. The players use the acronym to make phrase and PM their submission to the Mod, and s/he will put up a poll. If more than one player chooses the same phrase, the first one to PM gets that phrase, and the other player/s will have to choose a different phrase. Winner receives points for that round, and then a new one is put up with a four letter acronym, and so on. There will be 6 rounds. Yes, we are bringing back an old Shayol Ghul tradition. We are going to settle the age-old question: Which faction is the superior one. (At least for this year.) Starting August 4th, there will be five games played by members of each faction, pitting them against each other to settle this issue. Will the Black Ajah use the One Power to triumph? Will the Dreadlords cunningly stab all the competition? Or will the Shadowspawn's brute force win the day? Blood will be shed, I promise. Be ready to come and show off your stuff! Bring your A game. Everyone else will. There will also be two other activities that anyone can participate in. Fuls, visitors, even me.

How many people here are interested in playing some sort of Balance of Power type game, with slightly better rules and less ability to exploit? Essentially a map will be drawn up with various territories with various values, and each player make some claims for lands and powers and such and I will write it up, fill the map out with some NPCs and you will get to dominating. You can pursue a variety of strategies to control the world and each of them should be fairly well balanced.
