Each February, the White Tower chooses a service project to champion. Last year was the first time we changed our goals from differing Ajah goals to one united Organization goal. Last year we donated books to a school's library. This year we are aiming a bit higher. In 2008, in honor of our beloved favorite author, we are banding together to donate funds to the Mayo Clinic for Amyloidosis Research. The project is simple. The White Tower is gathering monetary donations in one single Paypal account for the entire month of February. Once donations close, we will be sending the whole of the donation amount to the Mayo Clinic as earmarked for Amyloidosis Research. …

So Friday we're having a President's Day themed Payoff at school. The homeroom competition is to create a model of our favorite US president. My girls, being sort of insane and indecisive, decided they want to build Mount Rushmore. You know, because then we don't have to leave anyone out. But I'm not joking. It appears Heath Ledger has died from a drug overdose. I think it's pretty damn sad, but I guess I feel more frustrated at the fact that people keep dying from drug overdoses!! When is there ever going to be enough warning? EDIT: Okay so they're still not sure quite what happened, but apparently he had pneumonia. Maybe that was related. Ok, all. So, I've turned 30 at the beginning of this yr, and I lost my father to Hepatitis C right before Christmas. These two cataclysmic events have birthed an interest in Vegetarianism. I'm listening to "Skinny B-tch" on audiobook right now and it's quite an eye-opener for a carnivore like me. I've decided I WILL convert to vegetarianism, esp after I cleaned a fresh fish tonite (gross) and helped cook it (disgusting to see its eyes turn white and pop out right when it became ready). No offense to my meat-eating dairy-loving brothers and sisters, but I cant take it anymore. I've spent 30 yrs putting crap in my body and boy, does it show! >_< So, I need help.…

Hello everybody. Tired from a long day. Want to chill and relax. Want to do something fun and exciting and satisfying? Come join us the Grays in our new room addition in the Gray Ajah. This room is a green room where we plant. Also its a cafe/kitchen where lessons would be taught by me. Here is a little info about this room. We would have different activities encompassing around gardening and cooking. I will be giving out some gardening tips and cooking tips.
