  1. Today is a sunny and beautiful day in the village of Graytville which is located in the Midsomer County. Its a few miles from the Village of Causton where deadly murders have been taking place but we are safe to say that hopefully there will be no murders happening in the village. You can see Cairos moving about in the fields and getting the necessary table settings and food for the picnic that they are about to have for this weeks festival. There will be tons of food and music and fun eventful things to do during the picnic. Cairos channels picnic tables and also picnic blankets on the floors for guests to enjoy themselves. Cairos finally got things …

  4. Hello all, the Gray Ajah is happy welcome to this years Midsummer event. This week is set to be very very warm here in the UK, so we thought we'd find a nice English village to set our event up in. Somewhere with a lovely old church, a pub opposite the green, a little shop, a red post box, maybe even a fete! So we went into the lovely (but fictional) county of Midsomer. Errrr...... it appears that may have been a mistake. It seems in the county of Midsomer there are four types of people: murderers, victims, potential victims and police. Oh there are churches, pubs, greens, little shops, post boxes and fetes as well. But lots and lots of murder as a contras…

At the end of each "round" everyone will vote by voicing their opinion on a favorite caption. Anyone can jump in at anytime. Voting can happen in thread and the game is pretty loose and mostly for fun or bragging rights. Though the overall winner will get a signature as a prize. Without further ado here is today's images. and

  9. One tried and true and sometimes cherished Con staple is the Panel. Where you get to sit in with your favorite companies, actors, artists, from every fandom you can possibly imagine. Listen to what they have to say, and ask questions. Questions that range from where a specific show will go in the upcoming season to actors favorite type of cookie. Well what kind of Con would we be without our very own panel? Now granted this one works just a tad differently, here we ask YOU the questions! We're all a part of one Fandom or another. We're all a part of the WoT fandom. But there's always more, the Fictional Universe is massive and all encompassing. Some may not k…

We hope you find this to be a lovely place. First, don't forget to take your badge and keep the program below handy (which will be updated throughout the week as necessary). If you find yourself needing a break from the panels or discussions, you can always go over to our Suite for a snack or a nap. What is a Con? Con Stands for Convention. ComiCons originated in the 1970's as a Comic Book Convention, a place for comic book fans to gather, meet the writers and artists, and discover a…

  14. Hi there! Mashiara here, reporting from the Red Carpet, the most well-known place for celebrities to show off their style. Post a picture of yourself or a selfie, and I'll give it that glam Hollywood look! For example: But that's not all! Want to be posed with a celebrity! You can! Want to wear that beautiful dress you've always admired! It's easy! Just let me know what you want, and I'll get you all ready for your special night. Disclaimer: I am not a professional. Any and all attempts will likely be hilarious, not realistic...

  15. Welcome to a discussion about great directors! I'll get us started! First off, the word "great" is very objective. Even in terms of art, one person's work can be seen as perfect, but when viewed by another it's deemed flawed. There are a few directors that most will agree are great. But we can also talk about who is great to you! I am very biased on this subject. My husband is a film scholar--he teaches film studies at Arizona State University, has a Masters in Film Studies, writes numerous essays on film analysis and critique..... So my views tend to mirror his (since I read his works, and watch which movies he suggests most of the time). It also helps to …

  16. Lets take a stroll through the decades! Do you have any favorites that stand out? Who are your favorite actors and actresses? Let start with the silent film era! Have you ever heard of Greta Garbo? (1905-90) She made one film in her native Sweden and a second in Germany before coming to Hollywood. The camera loved her, and she made 10 silent films in five years, the greatest being Flesh and the Devil (1926). How about Max Linder? (1883-1925)This French comedian turned to the cinema in 1905, creating the first widely popular comic character “Max”, an aristocratic, skirt-chasing boulevardier. He was much admired by Chaplin, who gave him a photograph signed: “…

  17. Hello all! Welcome to the White & Blue Ajah's Week of the Greats. Here we'll have an opportunity to discuss any of the great cult films that have been made. This can be anything from any point in cinematographic history, from the classic Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange to the timeless Bride of Frankenstein, even something as zany as the relatively unknown Tetsuo: The Iron Man. All things are fair game, so long as they have a cult following. Feel free to post any examples you can think of, and give us a bit of history or plot teaser to see if you can tantalize the rest of us into watching it as we read! If there was anything innovative about the film, be sure …

  18. Hello Dragonmount! Welcome to another exciting game for the Week of the Greats. In this we'll be explaining a film to one another; but the catch is that you have to do it so poorly that the message gets entirely lost and the final version just sounds as terrible as possible. Some examples to give you an idea: "Titanic – ice bucket challenge goes wrong" "The Dark Knight – furry-obsessed billionaire takes out aggression on the homeless" "Raiders of the Lost Ark – college professor decides reading would melt his brain" Or something similar to these. Remember to keep things PG-13, but have fun with it! And don't be afraid to post a movie someone else has done; …

  19. Throughout the week I will be posting various questions about movies. You can respond to them as they come, or all at once in the end. I need your responses by PM by the end of April 15th though, and I'll be announcing the winner on the 16th, so make sure you check back! 1. What is the highest grossing movie of all time? (adjusted for inflation) 2. Who was the highest paid actor in 2016? 3. And who was the highest paid actress? 4. About how many writing credits does Stephen King have on IMDB? a) 123 b) 189 c) 232 5.Which movies have won the most Academy Awards, and how many have they won? Max 4 points, 1 for each movie and 1 for the amount of aw…

  23. Hello all! Let's start off this event with what it says on the tin. This is the place where we, the good folk at Dragonmount, will create with our twisted brains a marvelous adventure (or more, if we want!) over the course of this week. Each person can contribute as much or as little as they want, but we must all add to the hilarity. Naturally with such a prospect, I can already hear some of the questions that will be asked... "Should we have wacky adventures?" Absolutely! This is the Feast of Fools, after all! "What about goofy characters?" Bring them on! "Can we add in other WT/DM members into the story?" Sure thing! Just don't be surprised if there…

  27. Started by E James Todd,

Hello all! Welcome to International Women's Week and the discussion on women who worked for positive change throughout history! This is meant to be a place where all walks of life are celebrated, from the most awe-inspiring and death-defying heroines to the quieter and lesser-known workers behind the scenes. Primarily we'll be trying to draw attention to people you may have heard of, or maybe they'll be completely new to you. This is meant just to bring an increased awareness to the many amazing things that make up our patchwork human history. If we go over someone you think deserves more attention, or if you have your own example of someone you want to share, the…

. Something that many people, men ànd women, may not be aware of is that women have this habit of constantly undermining themselves in the most subconscious and unaware manner. Everyone takes it for granted. Everyone considered it normal. Nobody stops to think how odd it is that women would do these things. Least of all the women themselves. Being bold is not something that is encouraged in women but it is very much considered as normal in a male’s behavior. More even, it is expected of him where (even today still) it is at best frowned upon with her. What do we mean when we use the word bold? Do we by definition mean loud, drawing attention to oneself…

Welcome ladies, women, maidens, girls and gentlemen! Welcome to the second game of IWW. This type of game requires lots and lots of people to play, so don't be afraid to participate. As this photo suggests, the game will feature stories. However, YOU are going to be the storywriters. The instructions are listed below: INSTRUCTIONS • Storytime!©™ is a game in which each person makes a post that has exactly THREE words in it. The point is to create a story which demonstrates how women can be heroines, so the plot should revolve around women saving the day. It can be in any time, setting and can feature anything that follows the guideline of PG13. •…
