Hey Mat, what sort of character would you like to make and what sort of stories would you like to play? I have a merc that travels around a bit and will be up for hijinks.

Who are you playing? And where are they? Damar, Aeodan - White Tower (Guardsman) Avriny, Josanda - White Tower (Brown Aes Sedai) Whidbey, Everett - White Tower (Warder Trainee (NPC)) And a long list of potentials.

People want to write, but the RP is too inactive for me to dismiss that we're not providing what people want to play. So, what are you interested in playing, and what do you find missing (aside the obvious of players) that you would like to see? What do you see that you don't like?

I was musing today about how this RP could potentially really open the world up towards the beginning of the Wheel of Time story, especially in regards to conflict with the Seanchan. In the books, whispers of people arriving from the other side of the Aryth Ocean start occurring at the beginning of book 2. In the grand scheme of things, this is pretty early on! And we know the Seanchan are already going to be a force to be reckoned with. I'm going to be bringing in a group of NPCs that are all set in the same house, House Elioth. As I was thinking about this, I wonder if we in our RP shouldn't introduce the Seanchan a little sooner--have them arrive before the Dragon…

Should us darkfriends expect to have dreams about the Primaries (the ta'veren)? Curious if the thought would be all darkfriends and if so starting when? just those in a certain vicinity? Both the books and show are a bit vague on it. If it's all, the when seems likely starting Winter's Night, so, I wanted to get the question out there as it will be relevant very quickly for us servants of the Great Lord of the Dark.

This thread is going to be a constant Work-In-Progress. The information included here is as follows: When the "Current Timeline" begins -- That is, the day that RPs start on the IC Board. Past Events -- Anything before the current timeline, from anything as small as a couple days to hundreds of years. Do we have rules or an idea on how our character's stats are made? I know it was said they would be random but which stats are random and what stats does our backstory control or add to? For example stealth or charisma abilities like lying or persuasion? Are we mostly focusing on just combat stats and what is the likelihood that say our backstory says we're great at throwing knives but get a bad random score? Also, do we have score numbers for these types of stats like we have for OP abilities. Also, if you're still working on all this sorry, just excited to start.
