I could use training in Swords (cutlasses) or bows right now. Anyone want to train me?

Fanten absently patted the stallion's neck as he gazed at the walls of what looked to be quite the settlement. Reaching up he re-tied his shoulder length, curly black hair with a leather cord and frowned, settling his wrists on the pommel once more. The sun had been up for hours and Thera still lay in bed with the covers pulled up to her chin. With her work and workout schedule restricted she’d finally had to tell Jasine the change that was about to occur in their lives. Selenessin walked through the halls of the White Tower with a sure step and determination in her eyes. It was not a foolproof way to avoid being set to do more work, but if you looked as if you were already on a chore that you didn't much care for, the odds of being given more to do went down considerably. Not for the first time, she thought that this aspect of life in the Tower was likely even still part of the training they were to undergo to become Aes Sedai. Elyan had been at the Tower for several months, using wooden lathes for practice. He had also seen some of the other trainees caring for their own weapons. He had not seen the need for having his own weapon, having little experience, when he arrived, he would be more likely to stab himself than an opponent. One would think that an organization of warriors dedicated to fighting the Shadow would have better things to do with their time than gossip. However, that would be a very wrong assumption. So, Addi is currently feeling a little resentful towards the male gender as a whole and I can think of two male trainees in particular she'd love to exact vengeance upon (mind you, she's all for a feminist "rise against the male oppressors" sort of thing and anyone who may resemble a man is a possible target) any girlies up for some pranking? any guys up for being pranked? *paints targets on Elyan and Sandre* I'm totally up for retribution from the guys and punishment from our lovely Mistress of Trainees or his darling assisstant.

Much like life in the White Tower, life at the Academy fell into a rhythm. Waking meant breakfast; Estel wondered if Maegan was giving the cook orders to get her back to a healthy weight, it seemed like her meals were impossibly huge for a single person. Dulcinea sighed as she realized that there really was no point in applying cosmetics today, as she was certain sweat them right off again in the next hour.
