I was wondering, since we're going to need a new WT page, how is it determined who creates it and what goes on it? I'd like to volunteer helping on one with ideas, pictures, and maybe info collecting if needed. I would offer to do the page myself, but as I can't afford add-free hosting I don't know how that'd work. I actually did the pages for a now-dead WoT site, about 4 years ago, here is my old work: http://www.geocities.com/angelasedai2002/PatternsNew.html

The storm came upon him swiftly. Within moments, Forge was soaked to the skin, but there was nothing for it but to move on. He had waited too long to leave the abandoned stedding after his brief visit, and now he was paying for being caught out in the open with a late spring drenching. Out here in the rolling plains on the edge of the Caralain Grass, there was nowhere he could seek shelter. The undergrowth wasn’t even sufficient to hinder his progress, and there certainly weren’t any thickets with trees large enough for him to rig a shelter. So he had nothing to do but tread on toward the village Arien as the sky unleashed its torrents upon his soggy person. The …

The day started as any other, but it had more of a purpose today. The light stole across the covers and warmed her face and neck, the only parts of her visible. Her hand came to her face and rubbed delicately at the corner of her eyes, instantly awake as soon as the light hit. She dressed quickly in sea-blue silk, her shawl draped ceremonially across her shoulders, held in place at the elbows. Rossa loved her shawl, not just for what it symbolised, but also for the colour. It was pale blue and shot with silvery blues along the edges that made it look like the crests of ocean waves. It reminded Rossa of the coastline around Altara that she loved so much. Slipp…

OOC: If you disagree with the portrayal of your characters, then sue me :P It amused me at least, but I am willing to change if you have complaints. IC: A year ago after learning that she was an orphan, Sana had offered to Sahra that they could be a bit like family members to each others and bring others to their unofficial little group too. And since they couldn't be a couple, that was kind of what they had settled for, being friends and having strange relationships between the three members of their generational mentor-mentee lines. Aran was of course the Grandpa and he and Sahra aka Groper got kicks from teasing him for his age and totteriness and trouble with…

~Toulan~ The absence of light blends all shadows into one large shadow, and where a ray of light does quickly land on an unfortunate surface all colour and life seems to be bleached in the encompassing darkness. Should there be any trace of warmth, it is taken by the shadow and washed to a ghost of it’s former self. A back, as straight as a poker, surrounded by curves that would similarly adorn a stringed musical instrument such as a viola or cello, is picked out by the moonlight. It casts shadows over the curves that play as she moves, slowly, sinuously, rising from the bedclothes to walk to the window. Up here, no one can see her nakedness. Up here there is…

Yeah... Hi everyone. I've been poking in and out of Dragonmount for a while now and finally decided to join. So, this is just my hello to everyone, I guess. Tomorow morning I'm leaving for camp for a week, so I won't make a character right away, but when I do he'll join the madmen. Hmm... A little about myself: I'm fifteen and started reading WoT when I was eleven. I haven't read the series in nearly a year and a half, but I own the whole thing including NS the novel, and I'll have plenty of time to catch up during the week that I'm away. Uhh, I've been RPing on various sites for about two years now, and I concider myself good at it. I have an idea for a character in my h…

“Is everything in place?” The darkfriend looked at her for a moment, apparently measuring her worth before responding. “The White Tower hag is chained in the wagon. The other one is in the shed, like the lady commanded.” The man was clueless, but that was alright. It merely meant that the disguise worked. She pushed back her hood, shedding the Saidar-made glamour that had turned her into a short blond woman. Instead the Darkfriend was now facing a dark haired woman from Mayene. A woman he knew as ‘the lady’, someone who could and would turn him inside out should he mess things up. He saluted clumsily, but Nyssa had already dismissed him from her thoughts. “You …

“Have you ever seen such a mess?” A simple question to cover a lot of ground on a complicated matter. Rosheen glanced at the woman she had asked the question. No doubt Aramina Sedai had seen messes like the one they were looking at now, despite the fact that she was a self-confessed politician, instead of a warrior. The smell of smoke and ashes was heavy in the air, after a night of keeping the fires high. There was nothing like a few piles of burning trollocs to keep the fear alive in those who lived to stalk their innocent prey another day. She very much doubted any Fade would be able to spur a trolloc closer to the village. Of course that didn’t actually mean that …

heya! About a week ago I started my return to DM, and I think that by now i'm ready to pick up a fifth character again ;D I'd like to bring Sohvi back, but I'm not entirely sure how. Is Leila still around? if not, can I get a new mentor of sorts? ~Sohvi Darwin Shimmer

Sitting on the ground infront of Rory who was already seated, Lillian crossed her legs and rested her hands on her thighs as she considered the student before her, and why she was here. Rory had proven difficult with other teachers, stubbornly refusing to learn what they offered to teach her. She suspected that they'd approached Rory the wrong way, but everyone did have their individual teaching style. There were others that would perform better under them than they did with Lillian no doubt. But this was Rory, and Lillian was fairly certain that she could get through to the girl. She resented being treated like an ignorant child, yet she was ignorant which then …

I was wanting to make a new novice, and I was wondering, since the WT site seems to be a little on the broken side at the moment, what the email address was that I needed to send the bio to? Oh, and what, exactly should I include in the bio? I know every Div likes to do things a little differently, so I figured I'd go ahead and check just to be certain. Any help would be appreaciated. ^-^

I have been reading through the watchers RP and WOW! I take my hat off to all of the writers in the thread. You guys have done an excellent job! Good writing guys! Once again I am thrilled to be a part of such a vividly composing team of RP'ers here on this site.

Smiling, Anton remembered when he had once been subjected to a similar round of tests by his own mentor, Burrich. The first thing that the man had done was decided to give him the run around, challenged him to follow the trail that the man had left. It had helped that Burrich was a big man, light on his feet as he was he still left a trail that a fine tracker could find. Of course, Anton hadn’t been a fine tracker at that point, but he’d been able to follow it nevertheless. Much like the challenge that he had set for Timewalker, to come to the spot where he stood now. Having left the note in her hands while she slept, he’d quickly stolen away out to where he was …

Mina had been released in the garden of the manor and there was certainly plenty to explore. The only caveat Nyssa had given her was to stay clear of the maze as it would be used in her training. She was a city girl through and through and she had never been to the countryside so even though the garden was fairly well kept, it represented dangerous Nature and Outside for her. She moved around even more cautiously than usual, skulking and crouching behind trees and bushes and trying to stay out of sight from both the house and the forest. It was an excercise but also almost play since she was enjoying it. She had had a few days to settle down and since everything had gone …

I regret to announce that the present WT DL has been let go. His conduct has been determined by the Incarns and Group Leaders to be detrimental to both the WT and to the DR PSW as a whole. There has a been a serious deteriation in relations between the Administration, the Group Leaders, and Russ. Despite our best efforts to try and rectify the issues and the miscommunications, things have spiraled downhill. Despite numerous warnings, things continue to deteriorate and the feeling now is that there is no chance of any improvement in the working relationship. Below are some examples to better explain the breakdown of the working relationship. - Monthly rep…

Half a week had passed since waking up and, despite his condition, Aran would have had to admit that those days had been amongst happiest days. The first couple had been a tad awkward due to his stomach’s rebellious urge to destroy the intimate moment they were sharing, but they shared their meals together and more often than not Cairma would lie next to him as they spoke with a freedom of many things about themselves to one another, things they wouldn’t share with others even as they exchanged the small touches and caresses of those who not only trusted one another but shared something deeper. They spoke of many things, yet they did not pry, only what they freely g…

Life was good. Vincent Dion had decided that when he was just a little boy, stealing his first purse. If the means to survive were that easy to come by, life had to be good. Right? Right. So life was good, even on a blistering hot day in Illian, of all places. When Vince hopped onto the back of a wagon, intending to go just about anywhere or everywhere, Illian had not been on his mind. It wasn’t that he minded the weather much… but the people. Oh, the people. That stupid Illianer brogue that they were so proud of, and then there was the smell, and the heat, and the complete and utter lack of available people to rob. After the third day of having no luck what so ever,…

James' post to get it started: Ryas stretched his fingers even as Tamin began to play once more for their appreciative audience. The way Tamin's fingers and bow skipped across the violin carried yet another tune of the Almoth Plains upon her strings, something that the Aiel had not heard often but had quickly come to appreciate over the other forms of music they played. The beat of nine eighths was quickly taken up by Luc on the Tapan; the one, two, three, one two three, one, two, three, one two three that just sliced half a beat short of the basic five and four and half a beat too far for the basic four and four that was common in countries like Andor. Betw…

Looking over at Timewalker, Anton wondered whether there was a purpose to this. As she was newly accepted to the Stedding, she was considered a Wanderer. That meant that she needed to be taught the most basic lessons, but she had come from another time. In that time she had no doubt received instruction in the things that he was going to be going over today with her. Still, if there were any gaps in her education they would soon find out. No doubt they would also discover if there was a gap in the education he was trying to give. It was a little daunting to think that he was teaching someone from an age where the Wolfkin were meant to be at the pinnacle of achieveme…

Anyone up for some Aes Sedai deference? I would like to deepen my character’s life in the white tower. I was thinking of some setting where my Aes Sedai is either caught doing something not quite proper for an Aes Sedai or catches someone else breaking some rule or a custom taken for a law. I don’t think this should be anything overtly major. And I don’t think it should lead to either party swearing fealty like some sisters have in the series, but if that leads to some kind of deference, that could be fun and maybe later it could be used in another RP? I think it could be fun to RP the moment of catching / being caught and maybe all the subtle “negotiations” th…

Smiling as she came to a stop, Lillian took a moment to look at the White Tower she stood at the base of. Her home for over thirty years, it was good to be back within its sheltering embrace. While it was all well and good going out into the world and getting things done, it was also good to have time for herself. Not to mention time to catch up with those she had to bid farewell everytime she left on a different task or other. Gone for months at a time, it was surprising to see how much had changed within that timeframe. Walking into the Tower, Lillian smiled and nodded at those who recognised her, waving to those who did not. Sometimes she was gone for long en…
