I wanted to apologize for the time I've been away whithout telling it here first (mostly to the person i was writing with). I had some personal problems, a computer who didnt love me anymore and some other weird stuff. I'm back on the boards now but not continueing my writing yet. I kinda lost my inspiration a bit. Maybe it will come back and maybe it won't, only time can tell.

Iussi and Telcia escorted their guests to the door and completed all the needed goodbye ceremonies even though he had great difficulties to control his temper. The evening had started well with him inviting two of his old friends who had inherited their father's business too to discuss a deal. They had first enforced old relationships and just relaxed before getting into the business. That was the bit where it all had started going wrong. Telcia had been the perfect hostess, serving them tea and drinks but the dinner had been... well, they had been supposed to have boar roast, something he had paid a dear penny for but in the end she had served sandwiches. Thankfully Roma…

~Rossa~ How many nervous young women had worn this dress before it came to her? Rossa had considered often the thought that the clothes she wore every day may not have been tailored for her, but as it fit well enough and her previous life had been well and truly left behind, she could hardly complain. Not that the complaint would fall on sympathetic ears anyway. As long as the dress was decent and would not tarnish the fastidiously high image the White Tower strived to maintain, Rossa would wear the hand-me-down gowns. At first it had been a novelty. She had always had seamstresses make her dresses before as the latest de rigueur fashions were necessary to be see…

~Rossa~ She pondered. Rossa thought about lots of things sat on the edge of her bed, her gaze flickering out of the small window of the room she shared with two other girls. Nerome was probably doing his training about now … why did her thoughts keep returning to him rather than concentrating on what she knew best – politics? Schooled from the time she could stand upright, Rossa Venye knew that one day her entire world would revolve around the Great Game, and playing one rival against another for personal advancement. In her time at the White Tower, Rossa had noticed that it was not really that much different within the walls of Tar Valon to those of the Tarasin P…

Arya brushed over the back of the horse a final time, then swept the back of her hand over her forehead to whipe of sweat. She pated the horse on the rump before taking the lead rope and lead it into the fence where she let it loose. She washed her hands in the throw to get the greasy dust mingled with horsesweat off her hands, then stroke a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She gathered up the straw and tossed it over in the heap of dung. Then brushed dust of her pants and carried the sadle and bridle into the stall. She smiled and looked around on the stable, it smelled of fresh sawdust, all looked good and she was done for the morning, she would have th…

There! A name had finally emerged from all the chaotic reports of that incident in Lugard. The gleeman Jaros Nameros had apparently been responsible for the initial attack. However, the woman on the stage had named him Joar, and he had named her Nemene. Though the information was sketchy, somebody had mentioned the name Joar in conjuntion with the Forsaken. He had people looking into that connection. It was a lead, a link in the chain that would eventually lead to the long, drawn-out death of a murderer. A grim smile slowly crept its way onto Mehrin's face. There was something missing, however... A quick look at the small clock on his desk told him all that he…

Elyna, I'm afraid I can no longer allow you to train at the White Tower. I need you back here at home, daughter. The sudden entrance of her father into her feverish dreams jolted Elyna into waking. She woke up in a dark and unfamiliar room. Looking around she saw that she was not the only one here. There was another girl laying on the floor on the other side of the room. Elyna continued to look around, confused, as she gradually began to feel a great thirst washing over her. What am I doing in this.. place? Where is it? Why does my head hurt..? A million questions ran through her head as she headed over to the door and tested the knob. Locked. The only…

The journey back to the Stedding had been one of mixed emotions, on the part of Timewalker that was. She would swing between being talkative and trying to learn more of the world and moody silences where she tried to grapple with what she learned and the memories she had. Most of the time she would keep her distance from him, she tried to deal with things herself and in her own time but occasionally it would be too much and she would allow herself to be comforted by himself and Broken Twig who stayed with them for the first few days until they reached the end of his pack's range. As for Anton, he found that over the week that he was finding it easier to accept Timew…

Semirhage steped out of the gateway, she was on Almoth Plain close to Tarabon by the river Andahar. She walked for half a mile before making a new inverted gateway taking her over the river. Then used the rest of the day to walk up the hills and within the limits of mountain teritory. Here once again she made a new inverted gateway, making sure to stay hiden between her walking periods. No one would know where she was going, placing the gateways apart and spread out it would indeed be close to imposible to follow her. Her walkings also gave her time to think. She had had contact with Rahvin and Sammael barely after the gathering, she had heard whispers that Graendal h…

Rosetta was sitting in her room during her free time between chores and classes something that doesnt happen very often for a novice of the White Tower. No Sister or Accepted looking for help she just had time for her! Sitting there doing nothing Rosetta was getting very bored having worked almost nonstop she was getting figity. After a little thinking Rosetta had it. She could do something interesting to her and still be helping Sisters. So Rosetta jumped up and headed through the Tower hopeing noone stopped her. The Tower, for the time of day it was, was very quite and Rosetta didnt see any sisters and only one accepted whom she turned down another hall to keep…

Janna sat listlessly on the carved stone step of her cottage, watching Silver run amok along the pathway she’d so carefully planted with roses and wildflowers. The ground was scarred with wolf pup tracks and half dug holes where Silver had thought she might have scented something, only to be distracted by the wind fluttering the rosebushes or a squirrel clamoring up a nearby tree. She didn’t have the heart to chastise the young wolf, especially since her white face peeking out from the pansies often brought a wistful half smile to the Head Trackers face. Beside her on the ground lay her often patched and ill used pack, stuffed full and ready for a long journey. Janna …

She couldn't sleep. Eyes wide in the darkness, Vera lay in her bed in a silent discontent. She was feeling restless. Tossing, turning, gazing- clear signs really. The last time this had happened, she had stayed awake for hours, simply lying in her cot, musing, pondering, spinning into that place known to all daydreamers. Deep swirls of emotion, with touches of reminiscence and all things melancholy- she had been doing this often in the past month. Lyra had asked her blatantly if she'd suddenly gotten some earth shattering letter from home, Aeveryn had passed by and asked her concernedly about what the matter was. Light, even Caryn had asked her if things were going a…

well...I had a WK 'bout a year and a half ago who kinda fizzled out. At some point I posted up that she had committed suicide because I simply couldn't write her anymore. I actually loved the character (she is the sister char of my Bander) but the division was insanely small back then and I had trouble finding ways and people to RP her with. And now In the past few months, I've seen the WK swell and I've kinda had this nagging desire to bring her back. Sooo... tempt me

So I’ve finally done it!! I posted a thread on the West boards for my old character to come back. Right now, IC, he’s spent the last few years wallowing in self pity on the Mountains of Mist. He left the Kin after the woman he loved left him. Ya, I know, it’s kind of silly and melodramatic, but it works for the moment and it’s kind of fun to RP. Anyway, if someone (or someone’s) want to help drag a stubborn Ranger from his mountain, please feel free to join. I would love the company on this RP. :D http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=327276#327276 Any questions or comments feel free to post here or PM me. Later all… Shep~

Hey all, it looks like we've got four new Wanderers on their way to the Stedding and I was wondering if any of you fine wolfies would be interested in mentoring them? One has already been assigned a mentor but the other three have not yet. So, any takers?

Semirhage looked out the window, the banner with the red bull where to be seen in every direction, the town was decorated at least the parts visible from the castle. She turned and looked into the mirror, her pale pink dress clung to her body before spreading out into layers upon layers in the skirt. Her hair where put up with pins in a way that she had a few locks hanging forth caresing her face the rest where resting down her back. Soon there would be time, she wove the weaves hiding her face behind the mask those who knew her under her cover up was used to see her with. Looking into the mirror again looking so much difrent then herself, seemingly just tanned not t…

The sun was out and so was Aki, her legs crossed over each other she sat on the wooden bench outside of Cari’s house. The other woman was out to the market today and Aki was waiting for her to bring some cloth she had asked for, all the while spending some time on a dress she had nearly finished. With a satisfied smile, Aki fingered the pattern and the seams of the deep blue dress she’d made for Sara Hinge, a local woman who needed a full new wardrobe after her third child. She had found Cari in her shop one day wearing a gorgeous deep brown dress with a golden thread and had asked how the woman had gotten to such a beautiful gown, to which Cari replied she had a new tena…

The Stedding was... boring. Nobody ever wanted to play and have fun- they were all about work and discipline and training. Whoever heard of a family that didn’t have fun together? Janna had PROMISED they were a big happy family. Well, Skylar certainly wasn’t happy, and she was practically the baby. In fact, to all of them, she was a baby. They all seemed to think she was going to get into trouble! As if Sky would ever go looking for trouble... Oh who was she kidding- she loved getting into trouble. It was like a balanced part of every day. Well, life wasn’t so bad... except for Miryana. She was mean. Evil, even. The woman had called Skylar a child... it had al…

Disendra awoke in a foul temper. She had eaten well the previous day, slept well right through the night, and even had pleasant dreams of home, so the Light alone knew why she was in such a mood, but in such a mood she was. She stormed around her room getting ready for the day. She yanked her dress on and scrubbed her teeth furiously before stalking out of her room - slamming her door behind her - and making her way to the sanctuary Estel had shown her, where she had enjoyed her first touching of saidar. What is wrong with me today? Disendra thought as she sat on the bench in that secluded area of the Tower Gardens. She was more than determined to be an Aes S…

So here I am, minding my own business, when someone happened to send me a link for a RP they wanted me to read. Next thing I know, I'm thinking more and more about DM. Not sure if anyone here will still remember me or not. But I figured I'd stop in and say a Hello. Gaea Sedai Green Aes Sedai She of the lost memory

This is an RP which has been rewritten and altered a number of times, including tonight, but its about to start soon :) The basic gist is that Cairhien is occupied by the Aiel. Unlike the book Cairhienin who are a bunch of pussies and swoon at being looted and aping their occupiers, our Cairhienin have become increasingly incensed with the Aiel who walk their streets as if they own them, killing with impunity (most part criminals, but eh) and generally intimidating people. For the Rogues Guild (Criminal organisation in Cairhien, alot of old RP histor), its gone too far. They're going to war against the entire Aiel occupation, and others are resisting as well. I…

This is something that has been on the cards for a very long time, had several rewrites and alterations (including half an hour ago) until we have what is now before you. In the books, Cairhien swooned when the Aiel came and looted their city and seemed to like the fact they were looted then occupied by a foreign force. Our version of events is going to be a bit more realistic, and draw on some very old RP stuffs while we're at it. Amongst other things, we'll be killing off my first DM char. This RP we're going to try and do as quickly as we can. That means that if it looks like its bogging down anywhere, your actions will get assumed. There are four threads to b…

There is "talk" about the Bowl of Winds story arc trying to be finished within the next few months, so, if you're wanting to join and be a part of this but haven't yet decided... you got a bit of time yet. However you'll probably enjoy the rp more if you have already made your pc and are interacting with everyone else in The Kin before then. Personally, I've pushed my own story forward a bit so I can begin interacting with Kin as an established memeber (and rp out how that came to be, in retro rps) & get us moving in the super active direction as a group. So, if anyone is ready to kick this off and get rp'ing... just let me know. I'm totally eager to get som…

OOC: Continued from: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10774 IC: Shawn stood on the edge of the lake working on his footwork in nothing but his leggings, his barefeet coursing through the sand. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a woman at the dock watching him. Again. She'd been there the last three days each time watching him from a different angle and location. He'd tried to ignore her but it was getting difficult. Who was she and why was she there? More importantly, why was she watching him go through forms? He turned away from her and went to the tree under which he'd piled his things. Moving his shirt aside he strapped weights to his …

It had been a week since Calvin's burial and Arette was still siezed with melancholy and bouts of sniveling provoked by little things. Of course she did grieved Calvin but such dramatic displays were bothersome for everyone. Light, on the worst day she had bawled over the thought of Matthias, Hala, Mia and little Danae growing up without mother... or well, the tears had come when she had thought right afterwards of her own mother who had sent her away when she was only seven. And she would NOT cry because of Annele Nenatiar, not after all these years. She might not be able to control the world and people around her, something she had realized to be an illusion all along s…
