  1. Started by EB,

Eb stalked angrily across the grounds, a scowl on her face. She was frustrated. Light-cursed weapon! Reaching the corner of the training yard where she’d arranged to meet Ingtar, she unbuckled the belt around her waist and shoved her short-sword against the fence. Glad to be rid of the thing after the day’s training with Mehrin she stretched, shaking her head and trying to clear her mind. A knife flashed angrily in her hands and then disappeared. Where is Ingtar?! The sergeant was due for some hand-to-hand training, and Eb was in the perfect mood for a fight… OOC: Ok, let's get this thing rolling :D Be prepared to have some fun, and be sure to let me…

I'm currently in the process of changing web-host and such for the BT website because, well, brinkster sucks. As such, expect that the website may be down for some period over the next couple of weeks, but I will get it up and running again as soon as possible and if there are any changes to the address etc I will let you know asap. This may also mean that some of you who have @blacktowerdiv.com email addresses will no longer be able to use these accounts. Sorry! Cheers! Dali/Ben.

  4. Started by Terron Merdoneth,

Seizing the Void, Tomas gradually sat up. He began to feel stronger. After a few minutes, he got up, got dressed and gathered his belongings. There wasn’t much (he was an orphan after all), and quickly, he found himself stepping through what seemed like a hole in the air, and into a roped off area with buildings all around, followed closely by the black coated Asha’man he had met earlier. Light! How far away from home am I? it’s not even the same time here! The Void shook under the shock. Desperately, he tried to hold it, but it was like trying to balance a ten ton boulder on his nose. It was hopeless. The pain that he had been trying to hold with the void crashed …

Kedyn walked quickly, his hands slowly opening and closing and a look on his face that was reminiscent to that permantly fixed to him a few weeks ago. People stepped out of his way as he walked to the Cavalry barracks intent on facing his friend. It was three days after the battle and Kedyn had just learned about Carnhain's attempt at suicide from one of his scouts talking about it in their barracks. He was furious at the man, what in the world could posses him to do such a thing. Sure, it had been three days ago that Carnhain had almost killed him but that battle made it so everything was forgivable, Kedyn himself had tried to kill what he thought was Carnhain's imag…

ICily, who is in charge (IE King or Queen) of Cairhien currently? Are they a PC, TPC, or NPC? And if they are actually played by a person, how do i get in contact with them? The last time I was around with this character, it was Toram Riatin on the throne. Thanks!

  10. Started by Jocelyn,

Yes, our fearless leader has gone and injured himself, so is in hospital, until at least Thursday. If you have any issues until then, point them Estel's way. :)

The bright afternoon sun burning on his blonde head, Ged was somehow oblivious to whatever was happening around him. Sitting on the rooftop of one of the Asha´man´s houses, he didn´t know the name of, he occupied himself with his punishment, mending the roof a rather violent storm of the previous night had wrecked only by hand without the One Power. A punishment, Ged knew he hadn´t deserved at all. Well, somehow it was his first punishment that way...the first time he was punished for something he had done that didn´t affect any of the rules of the Black Tower, which he never had broken anyway. This was just arbitrary and random. So Asha´man Davram had seen him kiss…

  12. Ok... i'm going to post this thing in chapters, try to do one a day, and it should be complete in ten days... hopefully. might get busy this weekend. Anyways, in review - i used to be a pretty hard core member of the band, back in the late 90s and very very early 2001/02 years... don't think very much even in 02. been kinda lurking the last few years, waiting for something to inspire me to reintroduce Vinn to the DM world... and with some gentle prodding of a friend, i decided to fold and go for it! lol. we'll see what happens right? anyways, i took some liberties to reserve chapter space in this document for the chapters, so its not all cut up by people re…

The mare could surely feel Arya beeing nervous, but she kept a firm hand on the reins as she walked, there would still be a good half hours walk before she closed on the gates. She had walked for about 5 minuites when she heard a rusle in the leaves to the oposite side of her, jumpy she tugged the reins and made to jump the sadle. Thoug as she came up with one foot in her stir up to look down on the other side she saw a man clad in black already having a grip on the mares bridle. Slowly she turned over in the sadle thoug and put her foot in the other stir up. Surely this close to a citadel she should be safe, or so she hoped, she wouldnt leave the mare behind, she ha…

  14. Started by Matalina,

Talyn scurried to the White Tower Library, he had forgotten to return a book to the Library and he didn't feel like being thumped by the nice Brown Sister who ran the shelves. Thankfully the Sister was not at the desk as he dropped the book off in front of the chair she usually sat in. Talyn signed and turned around quickly and ran right into the sister he had been avoiding. "Returning a book?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Talyn glupped. "Yes Aes Sedai, returning a book." He skirteda round her and quickly walked out of the Library. He had no idea why this particular Aes Sedai scared him, maybe it was because she always seemed to look at him as if she kne…

OOC: After an unexpected break I'm trying again to get some training. IC: After nearly a year at the Black Tower Nakor was growing more confident in himself but he still preferred to do his fitness routine at a time and place when he would be noticed by as few people as possible. He was the smallest man at the Tower and while he knew strength and skill with Saidin were more important here, it was still hard not to feel as though the others looked down on him for his size. That's why he was up and dressed a full two hours before the sun. He went to a nearby break in the wall that would someday soon encompass the whole of the Black Tower. Slipping through to the ou…

  18. Started by Wayfarer,

While Lillian liked books, there were some days she truly tired of them. While today wasn't quite such a day, it came fairly close. Squatting down slowly as she worked her way to the lower shelves, she sighed as reached the bottom with no luck and stepped across to the next bookcase. Sure enough, up the top where she could onyl reach if she got on her tippy toes, the book she was after. Reaching up high, Lillian frowned as she concentrated, just catching the book and slowly pulling it free. Adding it to the small pile she already had, she collected those books and began walking back to where she'd left her thngs. She'd found a nice place in the library where peop…

  21. The harsh loud ring of hard-heeled boots echoed across the walk as the heels drove hard into the cobbles. As if each stomped step could crush the agitation and furry welling up inside, Corin hastened down the barrack walk; his red cloak fluttering angrily behind. The morning exercise was to be a simple one. A little surprise for his mentee; a chance for him to see what his future might look like when he completed the path he had chosen. Corin had not taken Dorian on a tour of the guards yet; did not feel the boy was settled enough to comprehend the commitment he would be giving of himself when the time came for him to visit the glade in ceremony. Even this morning while h…

  22. Midnight found The Yards the site of a phantom concerto as crickets played their mournful tunes to whoever happened to be awake at that hour. The clack-clack of a late training session provided the percussion, teacher and student moving from one form to the next in different degrees of expertise and grace. A bull frog called to his mate from his hiding place beneath a bridge crossing a carefully landscaped pond and the wind whistled across the reeds on the far end. In the barracks, trainees dreamed fitfully as their minds danced to the music of the summer night. On the walls, a masked woman found solace in the starry sky, lost in deep thought, and a man lay awake in bed f…

Greetings all it has been rather quiet around the wolfkin of late. Summer and busy schedules are the culprit I think or rather hope. That said I wanted to see who is still checking in and hopefully come up with some type of RP that can involve everyone. Would like to get things moving again so perhaps a party or something would be in order. If anyone else has thoughts let me know :)

Hello all. *waves* I've been meaning to get back into the RP for while now, and since I talked to people about it at DCon, this seems like a good time to get started. So what I'm wondering is... Sil's the current Division Leader, correct? How can I get in contact with him/her? I'd like to talk to Sil about what's been going on and how things are structured now so that I can figure out how I can fit in. Thanks! Ben T-Gaidin

Ameline was exhausted. She, the Aes Sedai (who happened to be a brown) and her warder has traveled long and tedious hours for days upon days at a time though Kandor and into Arafel until they reached the River Ernin. There, the Aes Sedai bought them passage on a sturdy and rather uninspiring river boat called the "Lady Swift." True to her name and despite her appearance, the "Lady Swift" carried her passengers faithfully down stram ever neearer to theri destination; ever nearer to what Ameline saw as her cage, her doom. The Sister rarely interacted with Ameline and on those rare occasions, it was to call her down for not curtsying deep enough, rolling her eyes, sp…

Dark. Light. Dark. Light. Trees. Dark. Drea blinked one last time and forced herself awake. Sleeping was for those who had time, and time was a comodity Drea no longer knew the definition of. She crawled out of the small abandoned cavern she found to rest in, nestled between two giant oak trees. Her bones ached and she heard them snap in places she new couldn't be healthy. Drea made a mental note to see the medic when she got back -if she got backi. She'd been thinking that a lot the past few days -if- starting to lose hope of ever going home. Home. Drea chuckled to herself. After four years in the Band, she had just come to the point of calling the Band home. Until all t…

  30. And I know the moment's near and there's nothing you can do look through a faithless eye are you afraid to die? What you leave behind What you choose to be And whatever they say Your soul is unbreakable. She could not put it off any longer. Her body screamed that time was running out. We all dream of being immortal, and Aes Sedai longevity can lull one into a sense of complacency with your place in the world. But that illusion was quickly unraveling for Claire Sedai of the Brown Ajah. Claire had known for a long time that her passing would come, and soon...but it was so difficult to force that thought from the abstract into harsh reality. Sighing,…
