It's that time of year again where I'm cleaning things up. The WT website has received NO new information no new bios no new anything. I'm in the process of exporting all the information. Zipping up the theme and information. I can set up a free wordpress.com site for the white tower. But with no one using the site, and keeping it updated it's a security risk. Let me know if you want me to set up the free site. Character bios might not transfer over but if someone wants to host it they should import just fine. Also tell me who to email everything to. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kira had left Cairhein, on her way back to the White Tower. She sought a Warder, and her travels would eventually take her to the Borderlands, but stopping by the Tower would allow her to rest in her own quarters as well as give her some time to restock supplies before her journey Sheinar. The Blue figured she would start in the East and work West. The Blue had decided to walk a bit. Her dapple grey mare followed her being led by the bit. It was nice to have the horse, but at times, Kira needed to stretch her legs. Kira kept her eyes open, but was still surprised when the men came out of the woods by the road. There were four of them, and their clothing was poor.…

Fang took a deep breath as the outlines of a small town appeared in front of her. At last, she said. It was not that she wanted to meet people. Dirt covered every inch of her skin and she was so stinky that she would have prefered to stay all by herself. What she wanted – needed even - was to sleep for one night at least in a real bed and to fill her stomach with warm food. She had caught herself thinking about going back to Tear twice already, and she hadn’t liked it. No, I won’t go back to this flaming place ever AGAIN ! The thought resonated in her head. She knew that somewhere in this little town was an inn. She had met a peddler two days before who had…

She knew the way, all the Aiel did. Rhuidean was a sacred place to the People and even if they were forbidden to walk within its walls, the paths that led there were burned into every Aiel's memory. Mordre was no different. She stood outside the barrier to the city, feeling it but not seeing anything to distinguish it from the air around her. Shri said that was her first hint that this path had been chosen for her, that she could feel things she couldn't see. She stepped through the barrior, feeling somehow different now that she was inside. It felt strange, like all of her senses were dimmed somehow. Confusion drove her further into the city and she stared in wonder at t…

Mordre stared into the fire in Shri's little workroom, settled onto her knees and numbly watching the flames dance. Tears were pointless, so she didn't shed them. The screaming rage she'd felt had fled hours ago, leaving only the misery behind. What's worse is that she couldn't seem to take her eyes off the wood piled in the bottom of the grate, shrinking a little at a time as the flames devoured it, leaving only white ash behind. The bark had burned away long ago and the flames were happily dancing over the soft inner wood of the logs, the wood curling and glowing in the heat of the flames. "How long have you been here?" Shri asked quietly, sinking to her knees next…

The warm sun woke Tannyr, as it filtered through the leaves overhead. He found himself in a bed of moss not far from where the wagon's camp had been. He jolted upright remembering the bandits. Instantly a sharp pain shot through his head and his vision swam and darkness overcame him once more. Everything became fire, chaos, and screaming again. Elli screamed. Tannyr turned from helping his aunt onto the horse in time to see a dirty man grab Elli by the hair and yank her to the ground. A roar erupted from Tannyr's throat as he charged toward the bandit. His vision became red he knocked the man down to the ground. No. Tannyr's hands were a blur, slashing at the …

Guys, congratulations are in order. Elynde and Fang have both been promoted to corporal! (Though I believe Elynde’s is a retro one so that presently she has been a corporal for awhile) *Holds up glass* “To more responsibility and less fun!”

OOC: Planning Thread Here Eb stomped through the underbrush, hacking and shoving and cursing at errant branches and vines with a rage that had proven inexorable - despite the countless number of hours she’d been lost. How had the forest changed so much in the time she'd been away? Her clothes were torn, her dark Altaran skin – already deeply and immeasurably scarred – was scratched anew on every visible surface. She was tired. She was hot. She was hungry. None of this was what had made her angry. “-LIGHT-FORSAKEN, BLASTED-RUDDY, CURSED-AND-FLAMING-BONE-HEADED FOOOOOOOOL!” Her hitherto earthy mutterings became a belligerent bellow - one that …

Fang yawned then smiled. She was quite proud with herself. Having a break like this, on the top of the highest tower, was just paradise. It seemed that her fellow banders had completely forgotten about her. She has received no assignment so far. No one was giving her chores anymore. She felt like she was on vacation. Of course, she still wanted to train. She still wanted to improve her skills with her daggers and her short sword, but things were getting boring. It seemed to her that she had nothing more to learn, at least as long as no one new took interest in her. Grabbing a piece of cheese she thought about the last few days. She had managed to do things she wou…

I have an RP idea I'd like to throw out there; pretty basic; I want to use my newly-raised Yellow, Celestine, for it. Looking for others, especially Warders/warder-trainees, assuming they're allowed to accompany Aes Sedai on missions/trips. Basic Idea: …A lord in Tear gets poisoned with a slow poison. Herbs are not helping and no one knows a cure. He reaches out to the White Tower or Altara where he knows AS are staying; Celestine answers that call. It turns out she cannot Heal him and wishes to bring him to the Tower. She and others must escort the lord and his snobby son/daughter. However, his enemies make things difficult and are not above attacking Aes Sedai.

So I know we are paralleling book 11... and I *think* that was when the BA hunt began. Are there plans to do this for the White Tower, and if so, what does it mean for BA members in the long run?

For the sixth time in as many minutes, Mehrin ignored the plaintive voice behind him saying, "Do I really have to do this again?" A couple seconds later: "You know, I had thought that this was lost or destroyed or something. Why the hell was it even in the carts? It's not like anybody uses it." Silence. "At least, not since you left, anyway." "Ah, Beleo, you look good in it. Besides, you never complained before." Even as he said it, Mehrin knew that it was the wrong answer to give. "Yeah? That's because it was the bloody Commander of the bloody Band that was giving me the bloody orders!" Dropping his cloak, hat, gauntlets, and shirt onto a handy bush, M…

Edana kept the blade wrapped up as they entered the Tower grounds. It stayed wrapped up as she took care of her horse and carried her pack back to her room in the Yard. She closed the door behind her and laid it on the bed, unpacking her supplies and putting all of her things away and fighting looking at it. She pulled off clothes that reeked of a long journey and wrapped herself in a loose robe. She took a deep breath and eyed the bundle on her bed for a moment before heading down the hallway, barefoot, to the showers. A few minutes later, she stood on the outside of her door, a towel drying her hair as she debated going back inside her room. All of her dreams about…

I just wanted to get in touch with her (jenniferl) because I was doing a picture of Jagen (my Red) from way back when she got raised. And I wanted, of course, to have her Amyrlin there, which at the time was Kathana Trevelaer. I actually inadvertently set up a very nice picture and wanted to share it, but I seem to recall I can't PM her here, so I have no idea how to reach her... ...that said, I'll just say this post is also sharing one of my artistic pieces. The only thing I know about Kathana for sure (the character) is she is from Cairhein. http://sta.sh/01jfti03wpkl

I'm about to get two bios approved for some Seanchan currently posited in Elmora, Tarabon. One is a der'sul'dam, the other a so'jhin, though I've fleshed out the whole house of characters, from the high lady who runs the show down to damane and da'covale, as well as the previous lord who ruled Elmora, now one of the Low Blood. For any interested AS, there is a collared AS damane that I didn't bother giving an identity to, so she can be anybody; perhaps a PC's friend. A rescue mission might be fun to RP--one that either succeeds or fails. I also had an idea of some information I would like my character to learn from one of the AS, and I figured an actual RP might be be…

Recently I got a couple bios approved for Seanchan characters staked out in Tarabon and I'm looking to see if anyone might be up for a Rescue Mission RP? I have made one of the damane an unnamed/unknown Ajah captured Aes Sedai, and thought a rescue RP might be fun. I figured this could get started with my own AS receiving word from her Eyes-and-Ears in Tarabon that there is a captured Sister there, a report that comes in after this sister has seemingly gone missing. I have made a post with my Seanchan if anyone is interested in seeing it: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/95054-house-elioth-elmora-tarabon-seanchan-rp/

As the title suggests, I'm looking for girls who may wish to come to the White Tower for training. Jagen likes trying to go out and find new girls to test and bring back. So if anyone needs a way to the WT I'd love to be it. And I will do retro RPs of this type too, for N&As who may wish to RP something from their past. :)

I wanted to make sure, do we have the weave for masking the ability to channel? Is it known among the WT sisters? I was looking in our Wikia but it doesn't seem to be listed at all: http://drpsw.wikia.com/wiki/Weaves

I'm looking for something to do with my Aes Sedai character. She often gets out and about in the world rather than staying cooped up in the Tower. Mainly collecting books, finding new novices, and hunting down curious characters (she is a Red, so she is also looking for men who can channel, not just women). If anyone has any vague ideas or RPs I might be able to squeeze into, I'd love to get a reply.

"Close your eyes," Shri ordered, and Mordre closed them without hesitation. "Focus on the air going into and coming out of your body, find peace in the rhythm." Mordre didn't say anything, though in her head she was ranting. If you want peace, tell me how to control this, her head screamed. Tell me how to restart a fire once I've blown it out! None of that made it to the surface of her face, however, and she relaxed her body as Shri spoke. That's what the woman wanted, after all. "I mean it, Mordre," Shri snapped, swatting at her with a twig she'd snapped on their way into this little hut. "Relax!" How can I relax while you're swatting me with sticks? Mordre…

Madoc stood in across the street from the Roof of Shae'en M'taal , the place where he’d spend many nights following the next few trials. His intitation was almost complete, but also just beginning in many ways, for from here on out he was pledged to the Stone Dogs and no other path lay open to him. He carried with him no weapons, no shield, not even a belt knife, all he brought were the clothes on his back and the training in his body and mind. As he approached the two guarding the door lazily became acutely aware and moved to block his path. One whom he recognized asked, “What do you want here boy?” Madoc glared down at the smaller, but older, man, “I am here to requ…

Mordre looked up from her collection of bottles as Shri stood up from her table on the other side of the room. She'd been working on a draught for Siura's son for days and nothing had worked to help ease the poor boys pain. Shri stretched and Mordre soon her head, wishing there was something she could do to help the woman. She'd been told to leave her alone often enough in the last few days that she didn't offer to help again. She'd busied herself with taking stock off their herbal supplies and noting which ones they were running low on. "Where is the trenal root?" Shri asked, standing over her shoulder. Mordre refrained from flinching by reaching for a small bottle…

Edana paced outside the doors to the small room where Loraine and the girl they were after had been holed up all morning. Kynwric had left her in charge, which had shocked her to the core, but that had been hours ago. Where was he? There hadn't been a sound from that room since he'd departed with a stiff, "Watch that door and don't interrupt them." "Watch that door," Edana sneered, trying to force herself to stillness. She was antsy. They'd been in Bandar Eban for almost a month and nothing had happened. Every morning, Loraine and that little git went behind this door and every afternoon, they came out. The girl's father was still hedging, though Light only knew why …
