If I ever was some sort of hunter-gatherer or some sort of warrior, I think I know what my equipment would have been. Aaahhh..its great being buzzed off good tasting cold beer and letting ur mind wander is it not my friend? With all that being said, my equipment would’ve been the following: Light flexible armor. Good thick padding in the front and back but not so thick as to compromise my quickness and strength. A Longbow harnessed in a leather bow hide slung on my back. Plenty of aerodynamically carved arrows with ruthless slick steel ends also strung around my back. A short blade at my hip. Light, lethal and perfectly balanced for quick clean cuts. In the…

OOC: These are just the basic ideas I have for my character. Please feel free to give me any suggestions which would improve the character. Name:Kollan Age:18 Race:Sharan(Ayyad) OOC: Basically I've always thought the idea of a male Ayyad escaping his fate would be an awesome concept, so that's what I'm going with. It basically begins with an Aes Sedai named Yelwin, who is of the brown ajah. She has gone under cover as an Ayyad woman to learn more about their ways as a people, after a long negotiation between the White Tower and the ruler of Shara. It's pretty safe to say that The White Tower offered something of value to the Sharan ruler, for they acce…

I get the general idea of this forum, and I really want to participate. But How do I do that exactly? ??? Do I just create a character and start writing threads?

((OOC - This is the Dragon Reborn PSW's anniversary celebration. The only people posting in this thread are representatives of the Divisions. Please do not post here if you are not one of those people! ~Raeyn)) Very little could be said about Caralain Grass. It was a grassland that spanned as far as the eye could see in all directions. There was very little to break the monotony except for a few short trees dotting the landscape. However, today the Caralain Grass was decorated by wagons so colorful that it hurt one’s eyes to look at. The people who occupied these wagons were as bright, dressed in brillant, vibrant hues in every shade that had a name and other stil…

The Manor House Murder Conversation was a buzz; all around the flames flickering and casting light in the mirrored sconces, mingling and creating an atmosphere that spoke of the highest of social occasions. Guests in fine costumes of various shades of silk were enough to make it seem a softly shimmering rainbow. Every nationality was represented; the Lady Jayne Talman knew that her functions were of the highest importance. The Queen of Andor herself was reputed to have sent a polite note stating her inability to attend. It created a ripple of rumour that all wanted to discuss and yet they did not. The evening began to draw to a close. Those guests that liv…

The streets would find themselves rather bare, upon what appeared to the new comer a perfectly good day, but as Belgorion stood upon the street, he could only assume everyone was lounging comfortably somewhere indoors. He would let his blue eyes run a trail down himself. Disgusting would be the only thought; his fine silk trousers, and shirt were covered with road dust, even the hilt of his steel rapier which hung loosely at his side had found itself without shine for its thick covering of the offensive substance. Letting his hand rise, he would slowly trace a finger through his silk-like, blond hair stopping just as his fingers reached the silver chain, and cross t…

A wrong turn had landed the Ninja in this office, and the sudden appearance of people had made hiding almost impossible. Only the warning of voices in the hall had given the Ninja time to reach the ceiling, wedging his finger into seams in the stone to suspend himself. Below him, the one who called herself Mistress of Novices handed the other a note and told her to depart. Only one left. Time stretched on. The muscles in the Ninja’s fingers began to ache. The woman did not move. There was no choice. The Ninja dropped from the ceiling, his foot snapping forward to kick the woman in the back of the head, causing it to snap forward and bounce off her desk with a…

It was funny to hear the young girl call this obviously-superior woman “sir,” but it bespoke a lot about her experience: none whatsoever. However, this Child of the Light already posed an issue. Her name alone meant that she was against the shadows from where the Ninja struck. She had to go. Sneaking up behind the woman was simple, as was the process of drawing his sword and running it through her heart from behind, the blade appearing from the other side under her left breast. The woman twitched once, then was still. Withdrawing the blade, the Ninja let the body fall to the floor, looking up to see the young girl staring in wide-eyed fear. The Ninja threw …

The Ninja had been watching the training for quite some time, and it was amusing. The three who were obviously the trainees were terrible. The Ninja did not understand why the trainer allowed them to even practice. It was apparent that he wanted to kill them. Maybe he should do the man a favor. Why not? Drawing his sword, the Ninja leapt in among the three trainees, easily beheading the first one he faced, a silver-haired young woman, before turning to face the young man with the thin sword. It was too easy. The boy made a clumsy thrust with his sword, which the Ninja deflected, then he split the young man from groin to neck. His spin swept his sword up, knoc…

A place as dark as a tavern was an easy place to hide. The Ninja had chosen a quiet corner, dimmer than the others, to observe and learn. This “Band of the Red Hand,” as it called itself, was a handy place to study this Dragon Reborn; they were apparently allied with him, and they could lead him to his target. The Band was apparently not known for its discipline. Already the Ninja had seen a few fights break out in the place, broken up by people in red armbands. After the last one, the Ninja had decided that they were efficient; there had been no wasted movement when the one man had come into the middle of the fight and broken the skull of the instigator. He’d b…

It seemed that this White Tower was really keen on ceremony. Curiosity had forced the Ninja to follow this group of women to wherever they were headed; any group of people was worth following when they might have pertinent information. Silence was his greatest asset. There were several women here, and any of them could turn and see him if it came to that. He’d be safe in the halls, as nobody seemed to actually occupy such a large building. Deeper and deeper the women went, silent as the grave. It would seem that this was a dead end. The Ninja was going to turn away and leave the group when the journey finally ended. Silence again reigned, then a loud voice ask…

This white city was a challenge that he was willing to face. There was nothing like being forced into the open to test one’s skills at not being seen. Thus far, the Ninja had been successful. The so-called guards around this… this training area might as well have been asleep for the little resistance they put up. None of them had known he was there, not even when he stood behind one of them for a few seconds. Oafs. The look of those men in the training ground brought a smile to the Ninja’s face beneath his mask. These looked familiar. The older ones carried themselves like samurai, all confidence and grace. It didn’t matter how graceful they were when the Nin…

Here I will post, and continue posting a simple rp for anyone who wants to join. The base story has not yet developed, but the main goal of the characters is to erase the taint on Saidin. I know that I have not placed much here, but the story is one that will be developed by the characters and I, not just me.

Essy twirled his staera within the palm of his hand, staring subtly around the room as he glanced from person to person. A young maiden caught his eye, as he stared at her bewildered in excitement. He tried to make small talk, asking here how the dance went; but she only laughed and hand signed her other maidens, and then abruptly laughing hysterically again. He began to scrape and forcefully drag his staera across his hairy, bronze legs. Another maiden caught his eye, a young woman named Tess. He winked at her and laughed, asking her stupid dainty questions like "What tree did you shade under? The beautiful tree!?" He was so comical. He smiled to himself, a…

Akron stalked stealthily through the dark gloomy blight. His golden eyes flashed in the darkness as he gazed around himself cautiously. He held his long white blades firmly in either hand, ready to move like lightning. He had grown up in the blight in a way it was his home. He had never given up his home nation of Malkier he often haunted it venting anger and frustration on any beast that dared bar his way. The trollocs and fades in the blight called him the shadow stalker. He had the inborn spark and could channel. He didn't do it very often though, he prefered the close and personal melee battles. He stalked on moving for Tarwins gap. He hadn't been in the civ…

Drex stalked the hallway of Vandorf Lyons Academy toward the cafeteria. His first day back and been just as he had expected. Boring as hell. Amazing how little things changed in a year. The same arrogant jerks still running around as the popular crowd, making life miserable for everyone else. Fortunately he had never had to deal with much of that before. The jocks that did most of the bullying were for the most part a pretty stupid lot, but smart enough to know where they could buy good notes for finals week. But it seemed that memories were short. After just one year gone, his clientel seemed to have forgotten that he was responsible for them advancing ot the…

Destiny Bernes walked across the room to where the young boy sat in a chair. She smiled to herself as his face looked up to her, defiant. She had been a school counselor and psychologist for a long while, and this had proved fruitful in the past. Through her connections to these students she had made fortunes through their parents. Unbeknownst to the children, she had planted seeds in their minds…she had a certain, you could say, Flair, for getting into the minds of young people. They always left feeling more well adjusted, more able to cope, and, when she needed them to, they felt a compulsion to give her name to their parents when it was beneficial to her and her f…

The party stocked the shoreline of the island. Many were well rehearsed at keeping their heads down, but the dwarf -to his companions’ horror- might as well have not even attempted the feat. He might as well have bellowed "Dragon! Here we be!" Marlow Vanderhof crept along the shadowed perimeter of the forest, just up the beach from his cohorts. He had been drawn to this area by a bush that looked unnaturally shaded. As he ghosted next to the shrub, he recognized one of the hired soldiers that had been with them earlier. During the initial attack many of the hired soldiers had been slayed from one deep, exhaling breath from their dragon foe. Fewer still had run …

The sapphire sky were cloudy and the sun shone down on the walls of wooden houses, in a village two figurines sat under a big oak tree. The older man with a brownish beard held his hands in cross on his belly, while the other one just glared at the table and a wooden box that's been placed there between the men. " This, my sister gave away! Do not know, but the box includes a branded knife" The younger one said with a soft but strong voice, as his left eye questionably blinked at it. The last thing he'd ever say, as the other man smirked as he drew out a short-bladed knife of steel and slashed it at the man's neck. Blood splashed a little around, as the young man clinched…

Jonathan quickly flicked open the top of the lighter he was carrying in his hand, producing the small column of fire that he had intended to create. He watched the flame sway lightly in the light breeze outside the school, passing his hand in front of it he forced it to grow, to move to his whim. Jonathan Page smiled. It gave him a rush every time he used this new found power, this ability to control fire as easily as he breathed. Though he was also trying to hide it, he held the lighter casually..to those around him it wasn't strange, they all knew how much of a pyro he was...walking around with a lighter was normal for him. He passed a hand over the flame and idly …

Shit, shit. It was almost 8 am and the first class was starting. Janna had wasted a long time hiding in the girls' bath room and trying to get her jittery never under control. She had been really paranoid when mom had dropped her in front of the school and half convinced that everyone who looked at her direction knew and took a bit of distance. What had gotten her mind off her own problems was overhearing Misty Warren and her court gossiping bitterly about her best friend Ella. Obviously one of the rich boys who usually hanged out with the bitch queen, Matthew Connolly III - who had that kind of a name anyway - had asked Ella out for a date. The news had definately …

Mandla was keeping a short break from weaving a basket and trying to think how long he had been in this village already. Males were not allowed to learn anything beyond simple chores but because they were considered so low in worth and even stupid, some women weren't that careful when speaking around them. Mandla had learned from the other males that women they measured time somehow other than from movements of the sun and the rain season and had strange names for these periods of time. They didn't understand the logic behind the naming but they had taken the concept of a longer period and applied it to children's growth: there was birth year, walking year, nursing year a…

Slayer. Yes that’s the name I give myself, slayer of Trollocs. I've spent my life hunting Trollocs and now that its quit in the blight i just had to come and see what a Warder is like. Well I’m now hiding on the walls to the white tower watching the warders train. I must admit, they do look pretty good with those swords. I wonder how many i could take on at the same time. I think 4 is a good estimate, They cant be as good as everybody says or they would have seen me by now. Almost without a start he pushed away the wooden practice sword that had suddenly appeared at his neck.

Carille a short man looked up from his scouting report. Carille was a Seanchan Commander and brother to the Emperess may she live forever. Carille looked at the Vanderen and said "Good job,now we know that the Illian and Tear forces are trying to flank us," he took a deep breath"so we can now elimanate what is left of their resistance," he could not get the thought of have his head, troops being smited with lighting, fire, and being just... exploding while running at his side for the Emperess may she live forever. He walked out of his tent and got one of the raken to do another scouting report, even though the battle is upon them. Carielle is sending for reinforcemen…
