  2. Isn't the wheel of time the best ever, I love it. I've been waiting since the end of book 7 for each book to come out. Brilliant. Sheer luxury. No other book has given me the chills and tingles and I read a fair bit. Hope you all are having a good day. I represent the NZ contingency of Robert Jordan fans.

  8. Started by purifier,

Hey. Like the title says, I'm new here. I'm not very good at my first post in sections like this, so I may ramble. Just so you get to know a little about me I will tell you a bit about me. I love to read (I like to write occasionally), play games (PC games, to be exact). I'm 17 years old and I am currently in my last year of high school. At this point in time I am training to be a computer technician. I first picked up a WoT book in fifth grade. The book happened to be the fifth one, which I read about a chapter of. Naturally, it didn't make as much sense as it would if I started from the beginning, and I was younger and had a shorter attention span. I picked up t…

Hello, I’m a friend of Chaelca’s (I don’t know if that’s a good thing) Anyway she said I should join here. Well this looks fun so far. I’ve read all the books, of course

  11. Started by Just another pawn,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Jeff, I live in Ontario, Canada (although I got a call from a telemarketer this morning asking me how things were in California, I was thinking to myself that if I was in California it would've been about 6am and things would've been pretty pissed off) and I teach the 6th grade. I got caught in the wonderful world of Randland in '96 and so, like most fans, have read through the series multiple times, I'm usually too caught up the the flow of the story to pay enough attention to the details to make the various predictions I see here but I like yours :D . Fantastic site, great work setting it up and keeping it going. I look forward t…

  12. Started by Arien,

Hi there, I'm Arien I've only read the first two books after vikingdriver bugged and bugged until I read them, and I have to say that I'm positively hooked! I'm a military brat, 16-year-old Senior, and reading and writing are my hobbies. I'm a fast reader, so there's no doubt that I'll be able to finish the series before the last book comes out, as long as school doesn't get in the way. Hope I can get to know a few of you.

  13. Started by oosh,

Hey guys Been reading wheel of time for a few months now, up to about chapter 15 in book 4 right now. I'll be sure to be cautious of what I read so as not to ruin the story for myself. And if any of you fuckwits try and ruin this for me i'll murder you. Seriously. RJ has all but consumed my life the last couple of months on this book. Apart from that, I live in Brisbane, Australia and work a lazy arsed job as a storeman in your average warehouse. I play drums, hope to be competent enough one day to play for a band that suits me. Other than that there isn't much to say. My routine is work, play, read, unleash. And if this post seems a little odd bare in mind th…

  14. Started by KrisP,

So I've been reading the dragonmount boards for about a month and enjoy reading a lot of the posts, so I finally decided to join up. I just finished reading the sixth book in the WoT about thirty seconds ago (The ending blew me away!) and am off to Barnes & Nobles to pick up the next set of three. A little about me. I'm a student focusing on Computer Science and am undeniably a geek. Usually I don't read fantasy but instead sci-fi/cyberpunk (Gibson-esque), and consider myself extremely lucky to have picked up EotW. I like to game occasionally (X360 & Comp) and enjoy a bit of tennis. Anyway, I look foward to getting to know all of you better! Now to get tho…

Hello Dragonmount, My how you've grown. Your sharp peeks reach so high into the heavens now it is hard to beleive this "mountain" was once a mere mole hill. Once a symbol to pay homage to a creation, these slopes are now an outlet of communication with the creator. I myself have only ever seen Dragonmount from afar, But today have come to say hello to the folks on your slopes. HELLO FOLKS

  16. Started by HJH,

Hello to all the lovely people out there who love all things Wheel of Time! This is my first visit to the Dragonmount site and so I wish to apologise in advance for any breach of etiquette, spelling errors, or silly questions. Although I have no intention of making such errors, they have been known to occur. I have only recently come to know the wonderful world of RJ but I am already hopelessly hooked. I am keen to hear of your experiences of the world of RJ and would really like to make some new pals. ok, thats it really.... look forward to chatting x :)

  17. Started by WarkWark,

Hey Hey, Im new to these forums, I had signed up for the forums whenever these forums were down and there were temp forums up, but I guess that didn't transfer over. I started reading these books when I was in 4th grade, and now im going to the University of Houston, so quite a while. Anyways, my favorite characters are probaly Mat, Thom, and Rand, mainly because none of their chapters has 50000 names all talking and chatting. Like book 9 I think, where there was a ton of White Tower chatting which I hated. But anyhow, I look forward to posting on the forums.

  18. Started by jewels826,

Just call me jewels. It's a very old habit typing the 826 at the end of it. This is such a great site. I've read the WoT books over several years. I've recently finished my degree and had the time and pleasure of reading all the books back to back. What a great experience and an even greater way to discover all the small details I had missed. It's great to be aboard.

  19. I freakin love TWoT! Quite honestly I think it's the best series since the Sliced Bread series... (sorry, that was bad) Anyhow, I'd just like to introduce myself, and say thank you to the the creators of this site. It looks like a lot of fun! I've also got a research problem. I decided to write a research/argumentative paper about Robert Jordan being one of the best modern authors. Thus far, I have the NY Times Best sellers list facts, whatever RJ bios the internet has to offer, and all my personal input about his creativity. If there're any student of RJ out there that would like to share their knowledge on a great man and his wonderful writings, please…

I heard about this site a while back yet was unable to check it out, but I am here now. :D Jason love the site. How I got hooked, I was handed a teaser for one of ealier books in '93 and I was totally lost and totally drawn in, so I turned around that day and bought the first two and the rest shall we say is history. I would dare say that this series is RJ's Magmun opus his masterpiece RJ our thoughts and prayers for you and the continued remission.

Hello everyone. Just found the site today. I've been a Wheel of Time fan for years. I started reading the series when Lord of Chaos was first out in Hardback (sorry, don't know the year offhand.). I re-read each book just before each new one is released, and have read the entire series a few extra times, between books. They never get old! I have looked through a few threads and have enjoyed reading the speculation and debates that you all have about different subjects. Hopefully I can contribute my own thoughts once I get caught up. I'm currently on Winter's Heart in my recent re-read, give me a week or two to read it and the next two, and I'll be jumping in…
