Hello hello to whoever is reading! I'm Nebulae, Neb, Nebbler, whatever you'd want to call me :) I just recently began reading the WoT series as a recommendation from my dad. He asked my grandfather is he still had his old books, but sadly he did not. So, my grandfather went out and bought the entire series. I began reading, and I'm absolutely loving it. I just finished book two recently, and I'm very excited to get my hands on book three. I'm very excited to become a part of this community, and hopefully I can make good friends with many of you!

I still miss it. I started the series in June. Was on Lord of Chaos by the time I went on vacation in early August and finished a little over a week ago and I'm still reeling. I've read lots of other engrossing Epics but nothing like this. Song of Ice and Fire, Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles, Lord of the Rings, The Thomas Covenant books, Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth books --- loved them all but not like this. Its nice to have closure. I love how things ended - loved Memory of Light and even slowed way down reading it just to savor it a little. But now I'm .. rudderless. What do i do now? I've taken to binge watching TV because I don't think I ca…

How's everyone doing this week? I started and finished the Wheel of Time series earlier this spring. This was shorty before joining the military so I haven't had time/anyone to discuss it with, which is a shame since this has become my favorite fantasy series. I really enjoy the cyclical nature of the story and the characters (Rand, Min, and Moraine being my favorite) as they developed over the series. I though the last book was a great end to the series though i think the last battle dragged on too long. Also I'm now more curious then ever about the people of Shara. Anyways I'm looking forward to exploring this community and discovering new things about th…

I greet every knots of The Wheel I just started this extraordinary series like fourty days ago and it's been great so far. I'm almost half of fourth book right now and goin' hard(buying hardcover books often kinda hurts though ). I am deeply sorry about this late introduction with the series but also happy because shining days of my life with it ^^ By the way i'm kinda scared about spoiler content but i think i can defend myself from The Blight. My favorite characters are Perrin, Loial and Mat right now. Aiel wastes also interest me cause very interesting culture touches out there however they are still pretty unknown to me so i would like to learn …

Isn't it strange how what used to blow your mind no longer tingles your cranium? And what used to keep you calm now raises your right hand to defend? It is a strange own that composes our sonata? Ever changing and every growing? Like grieg and ambition began fusing the unknowing. Don't know what this heart is doing but it's rolling snake eyes. The beauty lives and mortal dies. Where do I run, Aes Sedai? My life is stranger than the Source.

Hello! My name is Sarah. At the behest of my friend, I began reading (aka listening) to The Wheel of Time series on Audible. I started with A New Spring and I'm about 6 hours from completing The Dragon Reborn right now. I already have The Shadow Rising queued up and ready for listening as soon as this one concludes. I'm pretty addicted already. I know I'm far from the end of the series, but I like it better than the GOT series so far. I'm really excited for the adaptation, assuming it doesn't suck.

Hi all, I'm an old user, been reading the books for around 22 years. I had a habit of reading the entire series each time a new book came out. I've only read the BS ones once though, as I'm a habitual re-reader and have been cycling through my other series also (Robin Hobb) and haven't gotten around to a re-read since. Sarah

Hello One and All, I like to consider myself a struggling fan. I am a fan of TWoT series because it presents a remarkable world. The Aes Sedai are some of the strongest female characters I've read. Rand, Mat, and Perrin are wonderful characters that are strong together and just as strong individually. I, however, describe myself as a "struggling" fan because I have struggled to finish the series. In fact (don't hold it against me), I am not even halfway through the series. I could give elaborate excuses, but in the end I have only myself to blame for this. Still, I pursue this series! (I suppose I should be happy that they haven't turned the series into something like…

Heya all. If you care to think of me as returned, it would be after +/- 15 years, but to 99% of people here i am probably New! I always want to think i can recall this website being created, but its difficult to be sure. If any here used to frequent Battle.net in Diablo 1&2 and Starcraft in the (WoT) guild (led by Mike / Shai'tan(WoT) on the old bnet) you may recall me. I was "lowercase r" rand back then AKA drey... 97~02ish, probably? Yeah, forever ago- when there were only 2 rands on the internet still. ;) I could be reaching too far once more, but i swear the "bela is best character" thing started in that guild.... ;) Anyhow, with the BIG NEWS for TV, I had to…

I'm Narysse a'Jahar. Some of you may know me from tarvalon.net. In RL I manage a cultural heritage consulting firm for abandoned cemetery resources assistance and advocacy and am an indie knitwear designer. To pay the bills I'm currently working as a paralegal but my contract for that ends in October. We'll see what happens then, as the consulting firm is still in the development stages. I'm excited to be here and interested in the community here! ~Nary

Hi, I have been a member of DM a long time ago. In fact it's that long ago that I can't even remember my old username. The only things I do remember is that I had been part of the Red Ajah and the Wolfkin. But I think after this long absence it's more fun to start anew anyway So I'm looking forward to have some fun Some of you might also know me as Kethaana from TV.net Cheers, Tamcha

Hello everyone~ At the recommendation of my friend, Eclipse, I started reading WoT recently and decided to sign up here too. I heard that everyone here is pretty chill and friendly, so I'm hoping to make a bunch of friends ^_^ I'm a pretty good mafia player and RPer, so once I get settled in here I'm planning on hopefully running some of my own games/RPs. I'd like to work on more games that combine the two, so I've been thinking of lots of different hybrids and fusions I could try out and I'll probably test a few of those out in time~ If you know of any games you think I might be interested in, feel free to send me a message letting me know ;3

Hello everyone! As you will most likely be able to conclude. I am new here lol (if it wasn't already apparent). I started reading The wheel of Time about 11 months ago. I am currently on the final book. On the Final Battle actually. I have enjoyed all the books. Yes, even the ones nearly everyone gripes about. Maybe since I had them all lined up and didn't have to wait between books alleviated some of it. Anyhoo, I am looking forward to meeting you fine folks and having some great discussions about The Wheel of Time and other fantasy series that may come up. Take care and may you always find water and shade. :)

Hey all, I'm Alkanthe from the Chucklefish Forums and I'm basically just here to check out the Mafia stuff (and shower BFG with praise). I won't be able to participate right away, either, cause I'm still tied up in some other games and I don't really want to do more than one at a time. But so far, the community looks lovely! I'm actually interested in roleplay too; though I haven't read the Wheel of Time series, character creation and worldbuilding are two major interests of mine, and I'd definitely be interested in talking about that with someone. : 3c

Not new. Was a regular here many years ago while reading through WOT. Started the series in college just after The Dragon Reborn came out in hard cover and was a hardcore fan for many years. Read each book as it came out and to be honest, by the time I finished A Memory of Light I was soooooo over Wheel of Time. I was very critical of the later books (some of them I absolutely hated - Winter's Heart, Crossroads of Twilight) and honestly thought the epic finale just wasn't one of the better books in the series, hardly as "magnificent" as Brandon Sanderson described it. But, here I am. Yes, there are better fantasy series' out there but by gosh there aren't many. …

Hello, Found my way here. Was given The Eye of the World in paperback by a friend. Got all the way to Crossroads of Twilight, and the two hour prologue with Rodel Ituralde was such a slog I put it off. When I decided to come back to the series, I had much fonder memories of the beginning of the series than the end, so I started back with book one. When I got back to the same spot in CoT, I decided to just get through it, because surely it gets better, right? And it does. Happy I did it. Now I'm about a book and three-quarters from ending the series and I'm looking forward to being able to read speculation and such without risk of spoilers. Anyway, t…

I am so glad I found this site. I read the series years ago. And now that I am a bit older, and hopefully wiser, I am rereading it, and discovering a world that I had not managed to see the first time though (I had seen it, but know I see it more vividly, and am so glad that I returned). I have completed the first two books, and have begun the third, and am eager to continue the journey. I am learning. And so I decided, I might as well join a group such as this as I proceed along my journey. I hope you do not mind me joining you all. And so, this is my first post. (Looks about, trying to decide where to venture next.) Not sure what all to reveal about myself, but …

Hey guys! *waves shyly* I haven't read any Wheel of Time books yet, and I don't know much about it, but feel free to introduce me to them <3 @Eclipse (do I ping/mention like this?) directed me over here from Flight Rising because I've heard that the mafia community over here is very welcoming--and I-I guess I'd like to try it out here? <3 (I'm a terrible player though ;w;) So I guess, hi? I'm a bit shy around new people, so I'm sorry if my tone here sounded a bit awkward, but *dips head* Nice to meet you guys!

Greetings everyone! I was directed here by Sooh on Mafia Universe and I must say I am completely astonished. Two of my favorite things - WoT and Mafia combined into one site. Pretty awesome. I began reading the WoT series back in 1997 (yeah, gives a glimmer into my actual age lol) at the recommendation of an old co-worker and finished reading in 2013 when AmoL was finally released. I have since over the course of the years adapted many aspects (considering WoT has superseded as my favorite novel series by far) of the fiction into role plays, characters and art. My icon is one of those characters of which has been adapted into a mix of my own world and WoT. It is a…

Given the fact that I have not been around in seven or eight years and just rediscovered my log in here, I feel like I should say hello in the introductory area. I'm claiming to be new again because honestly it's been so long that everything SEEMS quite new to me. That being said, hello! Lisa, MoonLily
