Having had "RJ" (wow that feels so personal!) in my life for some time now, seeing me through my first tat, finals and college graduation, too many lovers, marriage, kids, new homes, towns, jobs..... etc.. I've come to rely on the "next" book to sustain my fantasy need and long story short, I AM IN NEED. And thus because of my selfishness, I have been *takes a deep breath* cursing Jordans name lately. Yes, I have been wishing ill on him. So out of anger, I broke down and looked up when his next book would be out.... and found this site. I feel like a huge heel, shame and saddness have overwhelmed me. Made my husband make dinner because I was too sad. I wanted…

I've been around a couple of months actually, first found my way here when I learned about RJ's illness, and as his blog is on my favorites and gets checked daily, so does this place too. I used to listen to the podcast, but now my office computer is now used for sending out mp3's to the pub, and I don't think my clientele would be up for that  Nice community, I enjoy the theories, even the nuttier ones (especially the nuttier ones). Hello, Long time lurker of this site. I have read the series at least 7 or 8 times by now, and plan on more. I like it because I get so immersed in the dang thing, it has led to many late nights. I love this site for the discussion.

Hello everyone I hope this all goes well, this is my first post on a forum anywhere ever. :D I knew someone once who absolutely hated reading and this is their story. One day this person found a computer game lying around at home. The game was called 'The Wheel of Time'. This person decided to give the game a try and ended up really enjoying it. Sometime after this the person was down at the local Kmart in the book section. I'm not too sure why as they hated reading. Anyway they stumbled upon a book called 'The Wheel of Time - The Eye of the World'. They soon realised that it was the book that the computer game was based on. The person read the back cover et…

Just stopping by to introduce myself. My name is Michelle, I have been reading the series since I was in High School, and I graduated in 1994. I don't know yet if that makes me the old lady of the bunch for I have not checked out any other posts yet. But I look forward to getting to know other WOT fans.

*swoons and faints from being so overwhelmed* Primarily from the size of this site! It's so nice to finally find a group of people who are so interested in the Wheel of Time. Well, quick introduction. I'm Gillian from London (the posh part), love WoT and I'm hoping to get to know you all better. Fabulous! (oh and to top Viking in the topic below, I read/write French, German, Spanish, Italian, although not all fluently, and I know, but I am slightly rusty, on my Latin and Ancient Greek! Friendly rivalry  )

I actually first registered in 2004 but then stopped posting when I saw how many spoilers there were (I hadn't read the last few books - and still haven't though I plan to on my current read through. You see, instead of reading the new ones I started re-reading through the series. I had a couple of long hiatus from the series where I read other books, lest anyone think I have taken two years on a straight read-through, but I am now on book eight. I've also just installed the WOT video game, though you can read about that elsewhere as I posted in a thread about it somewhere. My interests outside of WOT include Doctor Who, Pink Floyd, playing video games, and foll…

Hello. *blink* I think I've said that enough. :D Well, I'm Harmony. I was here a long time ago, probably last summer. Anyway, school sort of took the place of all of my time, and I let Dragonmount sink to the back of my mind. But now, I am back! Muahaha! Aren't you all ever so happy? Anyway, I just started re-reading the books. *sigh* I've forgotten so much; it's quite depressing. Well, I just thought I'd drop in and give everybody a hello!

Hello everyone out there in the WOT world. I am so happy to find a place where I can talk about the true source, trollocs, and how hot perrin aybara is without getting a blank stare back from people. Anyway, I am new to the world of the WOT and am still reading the series for my first time. I always read more than one book at a time, not that WOT isnt fulfilling it just makes the stories seem like there going on for longer if I have several novels to choice from, and if it were up to me I would wish that the shadow rising would never end. Nevertheless, I am running low on other material and would be so grateful if anyone could give suggestions on some new series or bo…

Well, if you don't mind another axe swinger in your troop, I guess I could be joining you all for a cup and a pipe of tabac 'fore bed. Have read all 11 except for the prequel, and have probably forgotten more than I remember. Absolutely love the books and have become a big fan over the years. Normally try and read in between semesters when I am not as busy and need something to fill my evenings. What's this about an RPG?

Hello everyone. I just recently finished reading the wheel of time series (including the prequel) several days ago, in between playing far too much of that addictive substance called World of WarCraft and spending hours on various forums. Since I have gotten quite attached to the series, I decided to combine my procrastination tool with my interest in WoT by coming to these forums. I've been reading threads on these forums for much of last night, rather than doing supposedly important act of sleeping, and I like the community, so hopefully I'm here to stay. P.S. If there is RP I want in.
