Heya, What to say, what to say... Well ive been reading WoT since 2002, and been an avid fan since page 2 of Eye of the World. (What the first page is only like half hehe). Umm beyond WoT i do about everything; sports, art, writing, along with my school work. I look forward to meeting you all and reading your thoughts and opinions.

Yes, another newbie to this forum. I am not new to WoT though. I have been reading them since they first came out. I enjoy fantasy/adventure/scifi and read just about every author I can get my hands on. Anyway, I will just lurk for a while to get the sense of the place and interject from time to time. I am also wanting to keep up on how RJ is doing health-wise. He and Harriet are in my prayers.

Well, I've been posting for about a week now, but it's never too late to introduce my self. (I just started to explore the other sections of the forum yesterday, so pardon my rudeness). I'm a admirer of RJ's series, and I read the forum quite often, but just now I decided to register. I'm from Brazil and I thing this forum is amazing, incredible how some members have so deep knowledge about Randland and the series! Anyway, I'm glad to be part of it now.

Besolyn Pyrela here, but you can call me Bes. I’m a first timer. Been lurking around WoT sites for several months now (since I learned of RJ’s diagnosis). Just hoping to have a good time, some serious discussion, and maybe become an initiate of the WT (leaning towards Blue or Green, if they'll have me). Really new to all this posting stuff. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Hi there fellow Wheel of Time Enthusiasts. I have been reading since December ('05). I'm about halfway through book 8 and I have read New Spring. I have a day job as a Civil Engineer (I'm an EI for those who know...two more years to test for my PE)and I'm a musician on the side. I teach classical guitar at a local Academy during the regular semesters and I play gigs on the weekends (mostly restaurants and social events). I started reading for pleaseure last April and read about the first 10 Xanth books by Piers Anthony before I picked up my copy of the Eye of the World that a friend of mine gave me years ago...probably not long after it first came out, just never rea…

Hey i'm new. I've been avoiding these forums for a long time but now that i'm half way through book 7 i feel i can avoid spoilers enough that i've been reading some posts. I probably won't be very active till i finish the series as far along as it is. I've been playing D&D since i was 14 (i'm now 20) and I've picked up various roleplaying games along the way. This was how i was introduced to Wheel of time. The release of the d20 wheel of time game grabed my attention. I was however reading some other books at the time and didn't actualy start reading the series until last year. I'm currently reading about a WoT book a month. My other favorite authors…

I haven't really seen all that this site has to offer, but after reading countless posts about the WoT i figured I should join so I could make my voice heard (I already made a post concerning Asmo's death and I'd love to here other people theories). I understand there is a sort of RPG also (which might be the main purpose of this site as I said I have only visited the forums so I have been missing a lot) and I would like to know more about that. Thanks

Hello all, My name is Jon. I have been a reader and a fan of WOT for nearly 9 years. I visit Dragonmount.com daily, and I recently decided to join the forums. I hope to be involved in many great discussions on all things WOT. This is truly the best book series that I have ever read.

Greetings, I have been lurking around this site for a little while now and finally decided to register. I started reading the WOT books back when they first came out, but lost interest in the series right after book 6. Other things came up around that time. I started book 7, but never finished it. I kept on buying the hardbacks, but never got around to actually reading them. That is, until now. I just finished listening to books 1-6 from audible.com in an attempt to catch up with what I have read and get back into the series. I pulled A Crown of Swords off the shelf yesterday and am already 100 pages into the book. I am glad to finally be back into the st…

Hi! I picked up the Wheel of Time books as I tried to find one of my favorite authors at the Library. It looked interested so I picked up the First three books. They were amazing, as you all know. I finished them really fast and was hooked so I went looked up Robert Jordan for his site and I found a link to here on there, so voila here I am! So far I have finished the first 4 books and am almost halfway through the fifth. I love RP'ing and have quite a bit of experience from RP'ing with some friends over the Heralds of Valdemar sieries by Mercedes Lackey (great reads there check it out!) So nice to meet you all! Sincerely, Arch

Not always so bright, and a bit hasty at times... so I didn't like the name that I had and only knew of one way of changing it. Not that being born with it is a bad thing, you know... I am sure that I am so new that no one cares too much anyway (so why even bother writing this you ask...) Here I am again - Susie yesterday and most of today - Malindhe now and forever hold my peace. Good Day Malindhe al'Coren

Okay...so I hadn't read WH, CoT or KoD as I purchased them, thinking I'd go ahead and start the series from scratch when the final book came out. Then, as I finished some uninspiring fantasy from a few nameless (or soon to be) authors back in early April I decided that now would be the best time to go ahead and reread the entire series to lay the groundwork for the release of the final book. Just finished KoD - easily best book since LoC...and well worth the read despite the fact that I'll have forgotten most of what I've read when MoL comes out in, oh, late 2007, early 2008 (I hope!). In the meantime I've enjoyed reading the speculation and analysis by many of …

Hello everyone! I've been coming to Dragonmount for ages (pun intended) for WoT news and stuff and finally realized that I've been missing out on a lot by not joining the forums. So, I done gone and joined the forums. :) A little about me - I'm 22, a recently graduated programmer, and got addicted to WoT a few years ago during a very long summer on the farm. I recently went back to my long-running reread of the series (on book 6 now) and that helped me decide to get into some community involvement stuff. There are not NEARLY enough WoT fans out there! Then again, there could never be too many! :D Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. So...hi!

I'm probably the newest member to Dragonmount currently. Thought I'd introduce myself before taking a look around the site. Well, my "name" is Serynsatina, which can be shortened to anything you like. In RL, I am a rising freshman to my high school, which is located in Chapel Hill, NC. I have lived in the USA for over a decade, but I was born in China, and the rest of my family-besides my parents and little brother-still reside there. I looove the Wheel of Time series. I first was introduced to it in sixth grade, and I read the series up to Crossroads. Back then, I was sort of a dork (well; I still am :D), so I really liked it. I decided to reread the series ju…

...Will and Nyna talked me into at least coming back to post for a bit :) For those I don't know (or who don't remember me), I've been here since January 2004 as a Yellow Sister (and sometime Sitter) and Shatayan of the lovely Tinkers :) I went pretty much completely AWOL in late '05 due to a lot of RL stuff (including my parents' deaths and school issues and other things). Anyway, I am excited to be back and posting, and I -love- the new boards :)

Welp, I'm new here, it says to post here if you are new, so I am posting. I have just finnished the first book, and am now working on the second. I have to say, I loved the first book up until the end. It seems that the attitude of everyone completely changed all of the sudden. I understand that it was an intense time, but it just seemed a little weird. Also, are there any discussion groups for people who have only read certian books (like just the first, then just the first two, etc)? So I can talk with other fans like me without risking reading something about the books I haven't read (I've already done that by accident and have found something out that I didn'…

So...I registered a couple of days ago and have already been posting around, but I'm just now making my new member post. I started reading WoT in December, with EotW. I didn't get to NS until after LoC, and by that time I really missed Moiraine, so it was nice to read something so focused on her. :P I finished the KoD a few weeks ago, and then started looking for a community to join. I picked this one mostly because of the high activity level, but some of the orgs look like fun. I'm thinking of joining either the Kin or the White Tower, so if you're a member of either, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them to help me decide. :) My favorite characters are Rand, Ma…
