Hi Everybody, I'm tony from the philippines. I have been collecting RJ's books since they came here to ph in the early 90's(?)... Before I was using the net extensively, i always kept watch at the local bookstores and asked their customer service if there was a new WOT book out , or when they were expecting a delivery. the news about RJ's condition worried me greatly. I will pray for your health to get better, RJ. You have touched my life as well millions of others across this globe... Here's to RJ! :D

Hello, I've been reading these forums for a while, but finally decided to post, so that makes me new, I think. Anyway, other then that... most of my information is in my profile so if people REALLY want to know they can view that, as that is why we have them right? :P

i'm new to the whole posting thing but i'm getting the hang of it, i posted my life story on another topic and relized that that was a dumb thing for me to do, so here it goes agian... Hello to one and all, I noticed people talking to other people about these "introduction threads" and decided to do one of my own. I may have commented on some of your guys's, and gals's art work and you may have noticed that i can be a jerk at times, but i'm really just really picky about WoT and how it should look. Sorry if i offened anyone. I have loved and been fanatical about WoT eversense i started reading it Three years ago. Since then i have read the series three ti…

Hi, joining this after listening to the great podcasts of the 4th age, as well as rereading yet again the WoT. unfortunatly KoD still has not arrived, , although it is on order anyways, I'm commonly called Daetirion, mainly follow LOTR online, although dabble in other series. Authorwise, Jordan's an obvious favourite, although Feist, Gemmell, Eddings and Prattchet rank fairly high. Oh and i live on the Isle of Man, basicly a small island between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Great place, famous for the TT races, which are insidently on this fortnight. Other than that we're a bit out of the way think that'll do for this intro, look forward t…

My original intentions were to skip the introductory stage and go straight on to the many discussions on these boards, but I figured that'd be a bit too rash, so I decided I would at least post this little introductory thread. Yet, in the unlikely case anyone would ever want to know more about me: all you need to do is ask. Oh, and one more thing. Please excuse my bad English. I'm Dutch, you see.

Hey there! So, I've been reading the books for years and years, and am currently on CoT. However, it has been a few years since I've read any of the WoT books, and am looking forward to getting back into them, esp since book 11 is out and 12 is on its way. HOWEVER (OMGCAPS!) I am afraid I am kinda fuzzy on some of the details of all the previous books. There's a lot of info in the last 9 books, no? Anyone have any idea where a nice, concise overview of the books can be found? I don't need a chapter by chapter, like on the encyclopeadia, but more like a book to book, or major event to major event thing.. OR, if anyone is really bored and wants to make one HUGE post…

I am new to posting here. I read LOTR a couple of years ago. A friend of mine in Holland told me I should read the WOT series of books. Well last year I decided to take her suggestion and picked up Eye of the World. I've been addicted ever since. At present I am halfway through KoD. I have been keeping up to date with RJ's medical events through his blog and just recently came in here to discover this board. So here is a big Howdy ya'll to everyone here.

Hi. I just registered and thought i'd say hello. I've been a regular to dragonmount for a long time, but haven't registered before now. The occasion is the "get well" project. I loved the idea of making something to show support to RJ's (and family) in his hardship. The picture I ended up submitting is rather abstract, but i sorta liked it. You can find it here: http://www.jimmith.blogspot.com/ if you're interested. It is the post called "soft and shiny". Feel free to leave comments :) I'm a Norwegian boy of adult age, and i work as a graphic artist in a town called Tønsberg. Also, please excuse any bad english :D Cheers, Jimmith (Edit: clarifying a …

Hi there, after stumbling over the podcast (and loving it ) I registered for keeping track on what's being dicussed on the forum about it. So here I am, a guy in his early twenties, living in Berlin, Germany, studying at university. (no, I'm not studying English, so please don't rip me apart because of "misssbellet" words and/or wrong grammar :D ) After reading KoD in English (guess what, the first part of the translation is going to be published this late June  ) and reading some forum-stuff here and on other pages, I figured I needed some refreshing of memory, so now I'm reading it all over again. (I'm always impressed by those people who know every di…

Well this is cool, I haven't been a newbie anywhere since I first came online 5 years ago lol. Great not to be the one with all the answers for a change. What to say? Ummm, I'm a Scot for a start and very proud of my celtic heritage. :D I'm as fanatical as everyone here seems to be about WOT and yesssss I also re-read every book from the beginning when a new one is released. Just finished reading KoD a couple days ago (without re-reading for once and boy was I lost). I'm also equally stumped by all the reading I have to do to understand a darn thing around here but its a lot of fun. Grand site. Umm, I adore wolves, very important point and oh yeah, I need my bed cos it…

Hi! I have been listening to the podcast religiously, and figured I should join these forums. I go to wotmania about every day, but mostly just take the poll ^^ I have a fanlisting for Mat which is at http://mat.spiteful-pie.org and if anyone has Mat fanart or icons or anything related I would love to post it on my site. I am currently working on sprites of Mat to post there, but I am not very good at it!! I will try to be a good member and post here, but I am pretty busy ^^

Hi, and welcome! Good to have you here.... uh... sorry... wrong end of this stick.... I'm kinda new here.... In as much as I first visited Dragonmount about 4 years ago... A friend of mine introducted me to WoT (or tWoT, or WoTever you want to call it) about 8 years ago.... I think books 1-6 were available at the time (I could check, but I'm sure it really doesn't matter ;)). He leant me the first couple, which I loved, and I proceeded to buy the rest of the series. Since then, every time a new book comes out, I'll read the whole series from the beginning. Please... tell me I'm not the only one to do this... :? I've kinda been slacking off a bit recen…
