This post is long overdue and I felt compelled to say something. First I would like to thank the memory of Robert Jordan for the years of pleasure that the WoT series has given me over the years. May the hand of the Creator protect and shelter him for ever. Secondly I'd like to thank Mrs. Jordan for the years of tireless work as the series editor. And lastly I would like thank Brandon Sanderson for having the unmitigated gall and temerity to finish The Wheel of Time series. Both you and Harriett have done a magnificent job and you should both be very proud of the last three books of the series. Hello to all my fellow WoT fans. I was going through a sci-fi f…

Well I began WoT 18 months ago. I picked EoW and really struggled to get through it for some reason. Once I got to the end, I was hooked. I have just finished ToM, and I must say I am somewhat melancholy about beginning MoL. I am, however, excited to soon be able to talk about the series and analyze the thrill it has been for me to read one of the best epic stories ever written. So, with that being said, hello Dragonmount. Ghettoe, Monarch of the Thieves of Enlightenment MMORPG Guild

Hiya everyone! I've been following WoT for over a decade and finally finished the last book a few hours ago. I've read books 1-11 several times but took a break after KoD and just kept delaying reading the next installments. When aMoL was released earlier this year, I decided to re-read everything and refresh my memories, and finally tackle the RB + BS books. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the characters [and how often certain things annoyed me, heh] but now that I'm finally done, it's definitely a very bittersweet feeling. I figured I'd stop lurking around the forum and finally join so I could participate in discussions, and come to terms with the fact that this j…

Hi, I'm Aodhan and I recently started the Wheel of Time and have been hooked on the series, I'm just about to finish book three ( perrin just finished working in a forge in the tear for the first time in ages and is puzzling about a hammer) and i am trying to figure out these prophecies which seem to come from every direction (how many prophecies does one book need for heavens sake). Eagerly anticipating the rest of the series.

I've been reading the Wheel of Time series since I was a freshman in high school back in 2000, so it's been a good 13 years of reading and rereading and having no one in my real life to talk to about this wonderful series. I've been lurking around the message boards for a few months, but I keep coming up with some questions, so I figured I'd finally join!

Hello, everyone! I just started reading the series, (still on book one, but I've loved every bit that I've read so far) and I just couldn't wait to join this site. I've been told that this is a wonderful community for people who share similar interests and passions. I can't wait to join and interact with all you crazy hooligans and participate in Ajah shenanigans. I love reading, (as you can tell) but I also enjoy playing games, drawing, and any and all nerd things. I look forward to getting to know you guys, and I can't wait!

Technically I've been here before, but it was a different account that I can't really access anymore, from years ago. Started reading the books back in 2003 or so, I think, got introduced to them by a friend when we were hanging out one day, borrowed Eye of the World from him, then got hooked. I've fallen a bit away from the series more recently (I suppose the height of my "fannish interest" in the series was in the '04-'08 range), but thinking about doing another re-read this year--including properly reading through A Memory of Light from first page to last, since to be frank when I read it on release I 'cheated' by skipping around a bunch--and am simply interested i…

Several years ago, I read through this series and fell in love with it. I loved it so much that I started role playing as an Aes Sedai on a few different games that I can't even remember the names of now. Unfortunately, life began pulling me away from it little by little until I had to eventually give it up. Now that things have calmed down, I think that it's time to revisit Randland. I love to write, so this looks like a good place to combine a couple of my loves. :)

Hi everybody, I started reading TWOT in 1994 and I'm just about to finish the last book. I'm having mixed emotions reading through AMOL. On one hand I've enjoyed the freshness Sanderson has brought for the last three books but at the same time I shake my head as to why it's taken so long to finish the series. I'm just saying hi for the moment but looking forward to discussing in more detail in other threads.

My tryst with WoT started way back in 2003, I think. I was a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi genre and I picked the first book and was blown away with the characterization and the way RJ built a new world from scratch. The imagination and creativity was just great. Over the time, the interest peaked and waned with the release of the books but I was always a fan. When RJ died, blood and bloody ashes, I felt really sad - not just for the book but for him too. But, anyway, all's well that ends well. I put off joining a discussion forum because I am not much of a theory kind of guy. But, now that the books have been finished, it would be great to be part of an online commu…

Hello All! I'm Caleb, and I am so gald to finally find a community for fans of the series. I could talk about it endlessly. I first started reading the series in the year 2000. Some guys in high school were trying to race through the books to see who could read them the fastest. The Eye of the World was so fast paced, I managed to devour it immediately, but by book two, I had to drop out of the race. I fell so in love with the story, I could not just read it for the sake of reading. I wanted to absorb it and be absorbed by it. The books became an escape from the angst and drama of high school adolescence. I feel to this day as if I grew up with the characters; as …

Hello all, In February I bet my son he could not read the first 10 (i thought there was only ten?) books the of the wheel of time. He was going through books so fast so i figured I would throw the Jordan series at him to slow him dow. Well, here we are at the end of May and he is on book 12. Sadly I only read up to book 5 or 6 and my son has out done me and continues to baffle me in his furious ready style. His favorite character is Mat. He asks me to say: "May you find water and shade." Just thought I'd share Cheers

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and the ebook store. I was looking around for support to the purchase of the ebook of WoT but can't find any. So I figured I dropped in to say hi and ask for help :) I started reading WoT 12 years ago and glad that I can finally finish reading it! Fave char is Mat and Perrin. I find Rand too depressing for my own taste (sorry to his fans!) Problem:- everytime I click on check out or "pay now" button, I get directed to the front page of ebook store. Never seem to be able to get to the credit card page at all. Anyone can help in the purchase?

Hello! My name is Scott Zanarky. I am a fairly new reader to the Wheel of Time series. I started in January 2012, and spent about 10 months reading all 13 books, then only had to wait a little bit for AMOL! Wheel of Time is definitely my favourite book series. I am a big fan of other Brandon Sanderson works, like Mistborn, Elantris, and Warbreaker. Really looking forward to seeing what he does with his Stormlight Archive series as well. I loved Way of Kings! Also a huge Game of Thrones fan, (both books and TV show). Besides all that, I am a nature/macro photographer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, just looking to have fun discussing Wheel of Time and many other topics …

I read the first book back in 1990 when I was just a thirteen year old girl and rapidly converted everyone around me into a fan. I thought the book was marvellous and was a welcome relief from the drudgery of school and the neverending teenage angst. Beside I was bored with reading Clan of the Cave Bear which we used to read at lunchtime in group, skipping to the sex bits to be discussed in detail.. It was educational especially during history prompting our history teacher to exclaim in disgust that Ayla invented everything. Anyway I digress the reason I finally decided to join is because social isolation from living in rural area and of course a wider community in which…
