How y'all going? I'm new here (Duh). Erm I'm from Australia (Melbourne) and I like WOT - obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be here hey. Not going to say I'm the biggest fan ever or anything like that, but I do quite enjoy the books, mostly :) I think I've read up to about book 8 or 9, can't remember which, but I decided to wait until the last books were released before getting to the end - there's honestly that much going on in the books I was pretty sure I would forget who was doing what...and I had :) So I've just started doing a re-read for the first time. I think these books are a hell of a lot easier to digest a second time around! I just started on Dragon Reb…

Hi there. I've been on here quite a few times, lurking in the shadows, but thought I would finally come into the light and introduce myself. I first discovered the WoT series about 18 months ago and read through the whole series in about 6 months. I'd only just started reading fantasy again, after a break of what must have been nearly 10 years. I've just started my first re-read (although I actually picked up tEotW straight after I'd just re-read it and went through it again!). I'm currently re-reading book 3. It's really hard to think who my favourite character would be. Strangely Rand is probably one of my least favourite. Mat, who seems to be most peoples favou…

So my name is delta1024 but you can call me Delta (if it isn't already taken), I'm a big fan of the books and I started reading them 4 years ago because I had other stuff to do and they can be a bit consuming. I recently started reading them again. I found this forum, because when i started reading them for the first time I didn't even know what a forum was XD, and it looked pretty cool . I look forward to getting to know all of you and hope that i can find friends here, Thanks for reading!!

I haven't been this distraught since that time I forgot about WoT for a few years and WoTism went inactive. So ah, yeah. Not my first time around, but my first time on this site.

HI!!! (forgive my english - not my first language)I been reading WOT since 2004 and been lurking here for years now and took me 2 years to register and say hi LOL (thanks to audiobook contest going around >.<). I love WOT, but it sad to say goodbye to the series, that somehow became part of my life and inspired me to become who I am today. I felt like I grown up with these Two Rivers boys, felt their ups and downs and now the time for their last hurrah, I really really hope none of them will die, but with the tone Mr. Brandon set in the last book. I feel like we are threading a darker path in the end. Nuff of my whining. Just wanna say hello and hoping to be more a…

Hello all! I have only recently started listening to the WoT books via Audible and I am currently on book 6! These books are so addicting lol. I wanted to post on here and say hello to everyone. I will probably not be very active on the forums until I finish the latest book because I am trying to avoid spoilers (Hard to do! lol). I am currently progressing through at the pace of 2-3 books per month. I look forward to continuing my journey through this series and getting to know you all better! Zallow

Hello everyone! I finally finished TOM this very afternoon. A good friend at work introduced me to the series at the end of last school year, and I've been devouring them as often as I could ever since. I popped on DM a couple of times before looking for answers to who this character was or "Wait, where are they again?", you know, this or that... but didn't stick around long as I was so worried I would be spoiled on something in one of the next novels. For once in my life - with great patience and willpower I managed to keep my need for answers at bay (first time for everything), and now I'm REALLY ready to start talking about the series! Can't wait to comment on the …

Hey WoT-Community, my name is Andreas Maria Marcus. I am a huge fan of RJ's WoT. I've read all the books three times! In real life I am a composer from Münster, Germany, and want to use the opportunity to make advertising a piece of me: In 2007 I composed Nynaeve, a piece for four instruments. The death of Robert Jordan and Nynaeve as a fictional character inspired me to do so. The genre of the piece is minimal music - that is, a lot of repetition, elongated developments, meditative character. Under this link you can listen to the piece: It would please me if you like the composition. When one hears, as I imagine Nynaeve, I'm very happy. Much m…

Hi Everybody. I have just finished TPoD, when I realized that I need to start preparing to say goodbye to all of " my friend", who's life I have shared over the last few months. Only five books to go! I'M NOT READY! So, thinking there must be some people who love WoT just like me? That's when I contacted my friend Google. That's when I found surprise on surprise: A big community of WoT lovers! Then I saw the RP community! I'm not a good enough writer to join a RP and English is also my second language, but I can visit the RPs when the withdraw for WoT gets too much. But the best was yet to come! The wonderful news! There is one more book to come! …

Hi Everyone, I am new to the community. Was introduced to "The Wheel of Time" by a co-worker last summer and very much enjoyed the books. So much so that I read all thirteen books having finished the last book yesterday and may have to reread them from the begining but very slowly.

Hello, I just registered to this community, and this is also the first WoT community/forum I've ever joined, although I've been reading this series since I was 14. Here we are 15 years later... I don't know why it's taken me so long to join a WoT community. I rarely get to chat about my favorite books with anyone I know, so I'm excited about joining now. When KoD came out, I read it immediately, but then life got really busy, so I didn't have time to read TGS or ToM when they were released. I only just finished TGS, literally, right now. I have a quick question, maybe someone can help me out, and I suppose I should mention that the question might contain SPOILERS for…

Hello! I am new to this site. I have been reading and reread The WOT Series for many years now starting at a really young age; my cousin got me hooked!! I have now gotten my little cousins hooked. I used to be part of another site years ago called the Wheel of Time Alliance, so it is nice to be back on another forum where people share the same passion for the series as I do. :) I really cannot wait for the last book to be released already - it will be a bittersweet moment!

Hi All I've been lurking around a while and thought it was time I joined up. I first read WOT in 1998, I think. Just before Path of Daggers came out anyway. It was the second fantasy series I'd read (after LoTR) and is still probably my favourite. I think it's fair to say it got me hooked on the genre. I've been re-reading the series in preparation for AMoL and lurking around here to try and make sure I've got as good an understanding as possible about what's going on before I read the finale. I haven't done a re-read since before Winters Heart so I've only read the more recent books as they came out and the details there are a bit sketchy. Am currently on Lor…

Hi. I'm a fan of Brandon Sanderson and was introduced to Wheel of Time through him. I of course loved the series, and I can't wait to read the end. I've been posting on 17th Shard (same display name) and found a link here. Thought I'd check it out.

New to the forums, old to the WOT books and eagerly waiting the final instalment. I'm Imaginatio or Tio for short. I joined Dragonmount in the hopes of finding an amazing place to RP, so fingers crossed! So hello everybody! ^^ She turns, placing a pot of fresh herbal tea and a plate of sweet cakes on a rickety old table. For the lurkers ^^.

Hello again everyone. I joined your fine selves back in November, but was unable to actually do anything about it until now. I won't go into details, but it involved death (both animal and human), illness and computer problems. Now that I am (slowly) getting back on an even keel once again, I wanted to try Dragonmount again.

I've only glanced at this site over the years to get news about release dates, I had no idea there was a community attached. I found out tonight, and joined. I started the series back in 1990, and have read and reread it as one of my favorite pastimes over the years. I must have read the earlier books 20 times by now, ToM only 4 or 5. I've always been a huge fan of science fiction/fantasy novels, and have been happy to read anything as long as the story was entertaining. RJ goes way beyond simple entertainment. The WoT series still blows me away. The quality/depth of the writing and story are like nothing else I've ever encountered. I still glean something new with ea…
