Hello From España, So... I Guess I should say something about myself. And why I'm here. So, I actually was on Dragonmount a long time awhile ago (como seis años). But I totally forgot what my username was. I got busy with life and actually put down the Jordan books also. (Sad, I know). So I decided to start all over again. Dang do I just love Jordan. Started a month ago and now I am almost to Shadow Rising. Man He is the best. I was up to like book seven or eight and now I am making long strides. Anywhom, Its awesome to be back and I miss and love you all. Un abrazo fuerte, Jarviee

Greetings, I have been following the WoT since 2002 and soaking it in. I tend to reread the entire series each time a new book is released, and yes I refer to the characters as if they are real people... I come looking for friends and fellow artists. I will be attending JordanCon for the first time this april and would like to know what to expect. may you always find water and shade

Hello Everyone. Just popping in to say hello and introduce myself. I actually signed up on Dragonmount ages ago, but never posted or participated in any of the forums -- Just merely read commentary and looked up various bits of information. In any event, I've been reading WoT on and off for seems like ages now. It started sometime while I was in college; I'd read a book, then move onto another series (or get distracted by life, work, school, etc) while I was waiting for the next book to be written. In between I'd often re-read previous Jordan books or read other authors like Terry Brooks or David Eddings. However, since the announcement that Brian Sanderson was g…

It is a pleasure to find myself numbered among such company! I have long been a fan of the Wheel of Time series, ever since I met my best friend in High School (September 1994) and she (perched on a couch with EotW in her hand) said "I'll talk to you in a minute. I can't stop reading. They're being chased by a big black flying thing!" (I trust I need not explain the scene in question.) And thus began my love of Jordan's work. ;) I have followed Dragonmount for quite some time, at least when Jordan's blog was being kept, and on occasion as time permits, and finally have found time to join you all in the merriment! As the grasping claws of Graduate school beg…

I don't know about any of you out there reading the WOT series and having to wait, but if you are you SHOULD read Sanderson's other works. The Mistborn Trilogy was a great way to bend your mind around another type of "rules" to magic. He also has another short read called Elantis (I think that's it) which is a fun, off pace type of book. However, DEFINATELY read his new series he's starting called The Way of Kings....holy crap is that good!!!! And the funny thing is he's been trying to write this book for MANY years but has alway had other tasks to complete so if he and Jordan ever shared thoughts NO WONDER Jordan picked him to continue his WOT series. Seriously folks, …

HI I am from Canada, and these have been my favourite books since I was in my young teens...I have read all the books multiple times since then, and will be happy (and sad) when the last book is released.

Greetings WoT addicts! My name is Adam and I have been addicted since 2008. I am an United States Marine who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, i only have about 150 pages left of Towers of Midnight, so it looks like I'm going to have to order all the other books to keep me going until 14 comes out.

Hello Dragonmount! Just thought I'd drop by here and introduce myself; I've been an off and on reader of these forums for the past few years while (slowly) making my way through the series. Mostly been here when my curiosity becomes too great and I just need to find out what happens with a specific storyline. Just finished reading the last three books last week and I find it's been great series overall, a few less than perfect aspects (the Forsaken are pretty weak, Egwene and Elayne can be dumber than a bag of rocks...), but longing for aMoL. I had thought the last 3 books would take me a year or so, since I usually don't have a lot of time to read, but alas I finishe…

Hello there, I've been following DM's Twitter for a long while now, and I've read WoT for 2 times (but books 1-6 for 5 times, and books 7-12 for something in between 2 and 4 times). First 6 books I've read in my native language, but then I got frustrated by the pace they got published and bought the newer books in english. Actually the only books I've read more often than WoT is the Lord of the Rings, which I've read some 7 or 8 times (I read it first time when I was 8 years old)..

Clearly I'm new here, and here's my history. I just finished reading the 13th WoT book, having started the 1st one late last year. I'm in the process of discharging from the Army, and expect to be at home with a lot of spare time in the near future. That time I expect I will dedicate to playing xbox, starting up my artistic ventures again (likely based on WoT characters and events), and doing some writing of my own. I have to do something to keep me busy while I wait for book 14 don't I? I expect I'll be on these pages a lot, and look forward to interacting with you all in the time to come. If I like you, I may even show you my pictures... though that will take a whil…

I'm a retired USN Senior Chief and since I started reading the WOT series almost exactly 20 years ago, on the USS ROOSEVELT, in the Persian Gulf during the first gulf war, I figured it was about time I became a poster on this site. I've lurked for years, but just recently became a member. Unlike a lot of other members I don't think the middle books dragged or were filled with a lot of fluff. On my first read I thought they were a little slower moving, but it is apparent now RJ had a plan, shifted that plan and that made the books after tDR basicly one huge "book" with many individual "volumes". The story line on the "volumes" became secondary to the story line to t…

Hello! I'm a new fan to WoT, and although I've only read one and a half books so far (halfway through book 2 atm) I'm a huge fan. I was actually reading through Sword of Truth when my bf convinced me to try WoT and I found WoT to be the better series. But I digress. I'm a social network whore and follow DM on Twitter, and track the WoT tag on Tumblr. A WoT tumblelog exists, but I wish it was a little more active. *sigh* If all goes well I will have finished the series in time for the last book to come out. :D In the meantime, here's a picture I drew of Mat.

Hello, just finished a FULL-re-read (up to aMoL), and am now fiending for WoT related conversation. Lo and behold, I log on to my old lurking grounds, wotmania, and realize it's gone. Ah well, new author, new site, yes?(<--thats my tarabon accent) Just thought I'd say 'hello', so that no one was shocked when I throw in my random two-cents in on any topics. Hmm some thoughts that define me as a WoT-fan: -hate egwene. of course, who doesnt, I actually made a list of quotes from the two new books as I read them that would further my cause of spreading contempt for her attitude... but alas, had to re-install my OS and forgot to save it! I can see though that we n…

Hi Everyone! Long time WOT reader and lurker among various forums and FAQ's. Sorenson's WOT ReRead has pushed my sister and I to consider going to JordanCon this year, so I though it was time to actually get myself on the Forums. So, um, that Asmodean murder, eh?

Hello everyone I'm a new member to the forum site and the books of WOT. I'm currently studying Illustration and for my final year project I chose to illustrate characters, creatures, scenes and battles from WOT. Because I don't have much time to read all of the books I would like to ask the fans which characters, creatures, scenes you would recommend and would like to see illustrated. I've researched a few things about WOT and started reading the first book. My goal is to illustrate as many main characters as I can (good and bad), creatures, scenes and battles from the books. I would really appreciate it if you could give me some advice and point me in the right direction…

My most pressing question is, when is book 15 being released? I just finished Towers of Midnight and it's pace and logistic balance was perfect. It kept all the characters moving at the same pace, but it leaves a lot to do if "A Memory of Light" is the last book.

Hello all, Old time reader of all things fantasy but fairly new to WoT. However been ploughing through them at a rate of at least one a week, simply brilliant! Currently on Winter's Heart, almost done with that. Have tried to avoid the internet resources on WoT as much as possible (up until I have read ToM anyway!) as lost count of things I have spoiled, and almost always completed accidently, luckily though only a couple of bad ones in 9 books so far. Look forward to reading discussions once I am up to Towers of Midnight Anyway see you all at Tarmon Gai'don! Cheers.
