Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums, but have been surfing all over dragonmount for a while now (2 or 3 years I think). Just wanted to introduce myself. I finished ToM about a month ago. I flew through it so quick, that I had to slow down and read the last two chapters in a week. I didn't want it to end! Amazing! I wept openly 3 times. Anyway, hope to hear from some peeps in the future, but for now, I should probably go back to work ;) Cheers!

Longtime fan of the series -- I came in around the Shadow Rising. I've been lurking around the boards for a bit and finally decided that I needed to discuss the books or I just might explode.

New to the forum but not the WoT. I've been with it since(nearly) the beginning, reading EotW in about '91. I just finished reading ToM and can't wait until MoL comes out next fall.

Hello, I am Valiant(irl). Some facts 'bout me. I am 15. I read through all Dutch wheel of times(1-12) Most of them 3-4 times. I live in Holland. That's all folks!

Howdy! New WoT fan here. I haven't had a fantasy series to engross me this much since I put down the Icewind Dale series in early high school. Suffice to say, I am glad to be back in the game. It is taking me a lot longer to read than I remember fantasy novels taking. One is probably RJ's descriptive style. The other is that classes take up a ton of time. I just finished LoC, and am stopping by Barnes and Nobles to pick up the next three on the way home from work. Looking forward to good discussions on here.

So again, hello :) im Jen. Thank you for letting me be of part of your wonderful site!! <3

Hello everyone! I have been casually reading the boards here for some time but being afraid of spoilers, I have never registered or really read in-depth any posts. I have just finished Towers of Midnight and am caught up (finally) with the rest of the universe! I started the series way back when the Eye of the World was released and have read the rest intermittently over the years. Now that I am current with the story, I feel I can finally read and participate in the community here. I am looking forward to some interesting reading here as I wait for the final book to be released. Regards, Joe

Hello everyone out there! I've been a long time fantasy/sci-fi novel reader and was just turned on to the WoT series- it's great! You know what else is great? These forums! I have already learned so much here and am looking forward to making new friends.

  14. Started by I Heart Berelain,

Hello all, I have been reading this board for ages, and have finally got around to signing up. Vital statistics: Neil, 30, Brighton UK, High School English teacher, been reading WOT since '97. Re-read all the books between Jan and May in prep for TOM, which I thought was stunning. Berelain, as you can probably tell from my display name, is my favourite character, though Moghedien runs her close. Love and Poison xxx

Greetings! I've beem a huge fan for years and just recently subscribed. It's an honor to be on these forums and I've learned much insight from reading threads on here, and hopefully now, I'd like to maybe contribute.

Greetings from Las Vegas where most likely the weather is much better then where the majority of you are located. I originally picked up TGH while I was stationed in Italy while in the AF, way back in 92. Someone had abandoned it in the common room. I decided to pick it up (free being my second favorite four letter F word). It wasn't until 4 years later that I got around to reading it, I think the cover threw me off. Read most of the series about 3 times or so now. There 3 works of modern fiction that stand out to me as they have seemed to create a little 'pocket universe' in my imagination. Star Trek, The Simpsons, and The Wheel of Time. I could talk of the latter 2 al…

Greetings and hello from United States, Michigan, it is nice to meet other fans of the wonderful series Wheel of Time. I was introduced to the series in early fall of this year and am now quite addicted. I am only on the 3rd book, but am very quickly devouring the pages. It is hard to say if I have a favourite character, I enjoy that all of the characters seem to have something to be liked and something to be disliked. Anyway, nice to meet you all. :D

Just a little intro piece. Decided to start here first. Been reading WoT for a little over 10 years now. Love the series and I started re-reading from TGH a few months ago. I had stopped at CoT and wanted to refresh my memory. I was very much saddened by the passing of RJ and feared there wouldn't be an ending. Thankfully, that didn't happen. I have a hopefully not too loony theory that I'll write up in a more appropriate area.

  19. Started by Skot,

Hiya folks! Just signed up. I woke up 5 hours before work today and finished 'A Crown of Swords' this morning; doesn't that mean I'm halfway through? Reading the start of 'PoD'. 1st time reading the series ever. Wish me luck!

so, if you haven't guessed already, i'm a newbie, and since i'm not to good with actually writing up some amazing concise introduction, i thought i'd just answer some basic q's. feel free to add ur own Which of the series is my fave? i'd have to say it's impossible to choose, but i do love certain parts such as; rand learning of the aiel history, mat's interactions with others (just in general), egwene and all of her little triumphs and trivialities, and much much more. who's my favorite guy character? it's gotta be either mat or perrin, but mat's more of the blunt comedy that i love to hear, so i guess he wins, but don't forget talmanes, he has a dry sense of hum…

hello everyone! just stopping by to say hi! I'm an old member of this site (so old I can't remember my ID, email or password used xD) but thanks to my wonderful job I have plenty of time to get back to what I really love and that's The Wheel of Time! I've been reading the series since the 6th grade, after I was severely chastised by my history teacher for having book nine without having read the first eight! So I went out and bought the books and started from scratch and I've been reading them ever since (I'm 22 now) anywho, just wanted to say hi and many winter solstice blessings to everyone here, I look forward to chatting with everyone on the site <3

  22. Started by Leliana,

Hello! I had been intending to sign up for this site for quite awhile! I'm a relatively new WoT fan, I began reading the books about this time last year and devoured them all quite quickly. My favourite character is Nynaeve because I see a lot of myself in her, but there is not a single character in the entire series I don't like. Even the reviled ones are well written and three dimensional. Now that ToM is out of the way, I needed something to help satiate my WoT craving until the next one. Thus: here I am! It's nice to be here.

Hello all! My name is Benjamin and I am from the Cleveland area. I have been an avid reader of WoT since about 1996. I am almost 30 and I absolutely love the series. I have played the video game and I own about every book/ancillary item that possibly exists for the series. I have even extracted the music from the game to a CD. It's not bad, actually. Anyway, if you're also in the Cleveland area, drop me a line here. I'd love to talk some Robert Jordan/WoT.

Hello everyone, I just got done with reading Towers of Midnight. And just randomly found this site. I love the series. My occupation is a Marine, currently stationed in Cali. I just recently came back from Afghanistan. I am looking forward to be sharing theories and questioning methods and traditions from this well made story.

Hello people, I´´m 25-year old czech who is studying Media and I must confess that as of now I am inexperinced with Wheel of Time and it´ll take some time before I´ll read it becouse I have some titles on my future Fantasy list already (I am close to end of American Gods, then I´ll move on A Feast of Crows and then there are some urban fantasy books I must try) but I belive I could get into Jordan´s saga as I get into Martin´s. Well, you probably see that I read a lot of old stuff but I am mixing it, it´s just I am very picky. So if you have any questions...
