Hello everyone, I only started reading the WoT series just over a year ago and I just finished reading (well, listening to) The Gathering Storm. Been anxious to get online and discuss the WoT for a rather long time but was hesitant due to the potential for spoilers. Now that I'm caught up I look forward to being a part of the Dragonmount community. :)

Hello! I first discovered the Wheel of Time about 11 years ago. I recently saw the latest book in a local bookstore, and then read about the upcoming movie / video games online. Those two factors made me decide to re-read the series, and be ready for the final installments when they are released. Couldn't be happier! This is a wonderful series, and I am currently half-way through the Eye of the World. It is wonderful coming back to a great book, let alone a great series. I am a chess junkie above all else, and play on FICS under this name. I am also a Linux junkie, read til my eyes bleed, and am an all around nerd. Thanks for having me!

I'm new here but not completely new to WOT. I read the first six books in high school (about 10 years ago), and have just picked the series back up again this year. I've re-read the first 5 and am currently going through book six now. It's crazy how much I've forgotten. It's also fun to realize how much my perspective has changed in the past few years. Hello all, Thought I should join up on the forum's as I have been a long time fan of the series. I have been going to site for years now, just never really thought much of joining up on the forum's till recently. To be honest, I never really thought about half of the stuff you all are giving theory's on such as who killed Asmo(I always thought it might have been the Goalm(i think thats how you spell it)I just kinda went with the flow. Like most people I was graced by the WoT series. While picking up my books for college I found a corner that had some reduced books that were to be sold quickly. I rustled through the books and came upon Robert Jordan's The Eye of The World. The cover intrigued me so I picked it up. After finishing the book I ordered the remaining volumes. I started reading becasue my older borther gave me the book and told me to stop reading baby books, and my dad read them and gave them to my brother. When i was in middle school kids used to think i was weird for reading such big books. MY sister told me to join up and check you guys out so here i am ;) . Hi, I'm Lazarus if you didn't notice already. I'm fairly new to the Wheel of Time series, I started reading them about 4-5 months ago because of a recommendation from a friend and I've been hooked since. Due to my usually busy schedule I've only read Eye of the World, The Great Hunt and about a third of Dragon Reborn, so I'm trying to find other people to have conversations about the books with as I go and trying to avoid spoilers at the same time. Hopefully this is the place to make that happen.

After a decade of reading Robert (God bless his soul) Jordan's Wheel of time I still love it! The story had been growing grim after Book 10, Book 11 showed life and death at their element. Book 12 was somewhat refreshing. Sanderson lessened the emotional load of the characters and made the plot almost like Manga. Oh and Verin is right up next to Moirraine in my opinion! I can't wait for the next book!

Howdy! My name's Kath, and I've been a WoT fan for several years now :D I've just done a complete re-read of the series, and am now a little way through tGS (though I've had to stop for now 'cause I've got a chunk of text missing from pages 145-192, not to mention that pages 193-24 something repeat themselves before going back into order from the second repeat of 240 or so onwards). However, despite that small glitch, I am liking tGS so far, and am finding it very interesting! Looking forward to meeting fellow WoT fans here (am going to have to get used to using the abbreviations now!), and interacting on this lovely board :D
