Hi all, I am so glad to have found this forum. I've been reading the WOT since the second book came out and have been following the series ever since. I've enjoyed this forum for the past week and have decided to join in with all of you. I want to express my thanks for the moderators great work. Early this morning I came on to read some post and an mentaly unhealthy individual posted some obscene posts. Many of them. Great work at having them deleted to quickly. Am looking forward to happy reading on this forum. bye for now flodeutsch

Well, I, as most of us here, love the ol Randland, and I want to speculate and have fun about what the future holds for Rand and his gang. I have read the whole series, and am working on some of Brandon Sandersons other books at the current moment, which are pretty sweet themselves. Anyways, thanks in advance, and I will see you around!

Hello, Ive been reading the wot series for about 1/2 a year now but dont get near as much time as i wish to read. I am currently on the 8th book. I started reading the series after seeing a few names around from the book; after talking to these people I figured i would want to check them out. A friend ended up having a copy of the first book and i was hooked after this point. I currently take my book to work everyday and try to read at any free time. I just signed up on the forums tonite, and enjoyed reading throuh the other posts. Anyways I look forward to all the forums have to offer.

I believe i joined 4 months ago, tops. Some of you will already be familiar with me from my pet topic of Deity Existence, but I'm still a rookie! I stumbled across the site after reading CoT the first time, eager for the release of KoD and have been lurking on and off ever since. Some of the theories are well thought out, but i've decided to avoid any discussion of Asmo to keep my sanity :P PS: I look like Perrin, except for the eyes...

Hello, everyone :) My name is Lars, and I finished reading the last book so far in the series about two weeks ago. I'm really eager for the next book to come out, the waiting time is killing me, so I figured I'd join this community so that I may atleast discuss upcoming events, read theories and just learn more about the Wheel of Time-series. These are the best books I've ever read. I'm seventeen years old, I'm a dude and I'm Norwegian. I usually don't read, but when I do, it's fantasy. I started reading the series when I was laying home crying after my girlfriend dumped me, and they've really kept my mind away from feeling lonely and sad, because I fall so far int…

Just signed up, though I seem to remember having some connection to Dragonmount years in the past (as in, 2006 or '7): certainly I've lurked here before, most recently when I realized that The Gathering Storm was out and decided I didn't particularly care about spoilers (we got it for Christmas). Started reading the series years ago (I think 2002 or '3). My sister and mother also read it. The only other WoT communities I've been involved with in the past were wotmania and a group of WoT fans on GameFAQs (only we had to move house to an abandoned board when we kept getting modded on the board for the old Wheel of Time computer game). I've always leaned more on the obs…

For those of you who are also TV.Net members I'm G'Tairon Faraner. ;D I love the mountains and I only recently found out that music actually excists. The first WoT book I read was 'The Dragon Reborn'(I know it's the third, but I loved the cover art). I have a WoT forum myself, but I'm not going to announce it. If you wanna know, you'll have to ask ;)

Hello all, I have been reading the series since it first came out in 1991. I started reading when EoW and TGH where both out. Over the year, I have read and re-read the books many times over. The height of my obsession came around 1998 or so, when I belonged to an on-line RP group. Slowly, life and college pulled me away. I would read the new books when them came out, but in a half-hearted way. I used to re-read all of the books each time a new member of the series was added, but I stopped this process after PoD and just read the remaining books one at a time. Now, a few months after TGS and re-reading all of the books from the beginning, the obsession has returned. WOT …

Hey guys! My name is Jordan and I'm new to DM. To tell a little about myself; I'm 20 years old and male (in case my name confuses anyone :P ). I'm a college sophomore that is majoring in computer science and minoring in Japanese. I like to read, practice martial arts (Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido), and play video games. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and candle lite dinners.... ;) I first picked up WoT about four years ago, and it's currently one of my favorite series! I finished the new book right after it came out, and I can't wait until the next one! I'm looking forward to meeting you all! -Jordan

Hi All, I have been trolling the forums for a while but felt I should introduce myself before lending my opinions to things. Great Series, on my 5th time through it now. Love the direction the new book went and think this is going to be a fun year! I started the series when FoH was out and have poorly attempted to reread the series before each book got released. I also like Eddings and between those two I have had time to read nothing else! 28/M/Pac NW if anyone remembers the ASL days.

So I joined this website only to really see who is involved with Dragon*Con this year. I think it would be really great to have a mass Robert Jordan Wheel of Time Character Take Over. Maybe not all weekend but all of one day at the very least. I love the Wheel of Time and actually just reread them all so that I wouldn't miss anything in the last books. I kinda suspected but also didn't expect a lot of things in The Gathering Storm. Bah. I don't know. I'm very sorry that Robert Jordan passed because now there is so much he cannot share with us and I never even got to meet him. Well my e-mail for Dragon*Con is bearosaur@gmail.com if you're interested. It'd be super awesome …

...You feel asleep last night and waking up this morning you have a feeling something is not quite as usual, opening your eyes you understand why as you realise you are looking up at the sky, and the birdchirping was not just a dream. There is forest around you, but you realise you are hearing other sounds as well, it actually sounds like festiveties. How odd you think and descide to investigate, walking towards the sound you sudenly see an opening ahead in the woods, there is a glen filled with fires and people, and the glen is shaping downward in a bowl, in the midle there is this construction. Standing puzled for a moment you suddenly realises it reminds you of s…

Hi, I'm Rosy, based in the UK (London) it's been a while since I've ventured onto t'internet forums, but this seemed a good place to start again. Been a huge fan of WoT for what feels like an Age, but I've only ever found one other person who shares my love, doesn't seem to be the case here thank goodness! Currently re-reading the whole lot so when I tackle 12 again it'll make more sense! See you 'round Rosy ;)

I have been reading the WOT books since they were first published in 1990. The long, but understandable wait for volume 12 is over, and I am about half way through.

Hello! I have been a long time reader of WoT, started the first book back in 1993. The latest book rekindled my interest in the series. I loved how the book moved events along, and the portrayal of Rand in particular was fantastic! I am now hooked on the series again after so long, and eagerly awaiting the next book! Some weeks ago I found some time to paint a picture of Rand, inspired by reading TGS. It was only months after reading the book that I managed to find time to paint it... anyways, I'd like to share it with the community :) The Wheel of Time books and / or franchise are copyright by Robert Jordan.

I'm Robert E, Beer Rot is an anagram of my name. I am an AFRJ Monkey, a member of the alt.fan.robert-jordan newsgroup. Since the majority of RJ fans have left usenet for message boards, I thought I'd join here and see what trouble I can get into. Few bits of info about myself as a WoT fan: 1. Taim is Demandred, until we get direct POV proof via the book showing otherwise. No one ever said RJ wasn't allowed to lie. 2. I am a troll, although I rarely lie, keep this in mind at all times. 3. Bela is the greatest character in the series. 4. I would pay good money for Faile to die a horrible death. 5. Ishy dead, Morri cool. edit: al…

Hello Everyone! I've just finished reading "The Great Hunt", so I'm quite new to the series, not just this forum. I'm quite astonished at myself...I've always considered myself a dedicated fan of the fantasy genre, but somehow I managed to entirely miss The Wheel of Time until now. I suppose it was because I was busy raising my 11-year-old twins and was simply too tired to read much of anything. These days my boys don't require so much, other than a constant stream of food, so I'm determined to catch up. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to commit to the series after "The Eye of the World", but the Hunt of the Horn turning out so fresh and unexpected sunk the ho…

Heya, Its Oganalp, a looong time fan of the series! I was following Dragonmount blogs and stuff for a long time but felt down when we lost Mr. Jordan and went back to my cacoon. Anyway, as I am done with Book 12 now, I decided its time to be back here. I am a singer and a composer, even having some tracks about WoT. So... hello :D

Hello, all! New to the site, and still relatively new to WoT. I began reading several months ago, and just finished the first couple of chapter of Fires of Heaven. Introductions aren't my specialty, so sorry for the shortness. Once I get going and get acquainted I'm much better. So feel free to shoot me a message or whatnot. ~Thealynn

Hi, I'm me and I think that's a good thing because if I wasn't myself then who would be? ... Anywayyyyy...... I have the tendency to be active on a forum up until I start getting close to my hundreth post. At that point I always seem to just stop for some reason that I still don't know. Oh yeah and I love humor/humour (whichever way you feel like spelling it) and try to use it in all of my posts, even if it isn't particularily funny. (All you got to do is look at my first sentence) (incidently, I also like parenthesis(es?)) Still there? Wow you're either blind, bored, both, or smiling (It happens once in a while I guess) <== [shadow=red, left]look! it's …

My name is Brandon Markham, and I am a writer, but more importantly, I am a Wheel of Time fan. I remember reading The Eye of the World two years ago, and I never liked reading until I read it. So, Jordan was my primary influence for writing. Well, im at church right now, so I cant put more down here. Thanks for reading, and I cant wait to roleplay!
