I want to just say 'hey!' i am a big fan of the series and am glad that i have finally decided to join this here fancy forum site for the addicts like me ;D i have been reading the series since about 2000 (i think i was in about 6th grade? i really dont remember when i started) and have been reading it ever since. My dad got me into the books one summer vacation and i couldn't get past chapter three of Eye of the World and he said- just read one more chapter. so i did and it was about the same as a World of Warcraft addict after that it was always just one more chapter. 'please mom, just let me finish this chapter?! I want to see what Rand and the others will get i…

Though I've poked around often and at various times, I decided to go ahead and register. I've been following the series religiously since circa 1990, and don't get enough! Hello! ;D I tend to be quiet, lurk softly, and enjoy the discussions. ..yet I am an RP superfreak, and have done quite a bit of RP in WoT (RP MUD for a number of years, ran tabletop game..I'll spare the details. There are a lot.). I think I may check that out. :D

Hi there! I'm another one of (I imagine) many people who fell out of following WoT discussions on the net since the 90s, but then got seriously re-obsessed as the release of The Gathering Storm grew closer. After a few months of lurkdom, I thought I'd finally say "Hi!" I've had a great time reading through the forums and catching up on the latest theories, and look forward to more discussion as we wait for ToM. Thanks!

Hello all After reading the new book I figured I'd register here to talk about my favorite book series with people that share that opinion, or at least have read it too. I posted on the StoneDog wot forum several years ago w/ the same username if anyone remembers that far back... Probably not :)

Hello everyone! I've been reading the forums off and on for the last month or so, though I've been reading the WoT books for over ten years now! I finally decided to register so I could post on the spoiler boards, as there are some very interesting discussions going on there. If you want to debate with me on the finer points of character writing, or what a piece meant, that's where I'll be! ^-^

Hey folks, I'm digitalstatic, one of the Storm Leaders for the Minneapolis Signing event. I was the one running the live cam feed, though Q was at the keyboard more than me I think. I just thought I would drop a message in to say hi. I am digitalstatic on twitter, David Waldorf on facebook, and I once played on a Wheel of Time mud under the name Atrion. If you have any questions, let me know Dorf/DigitalStatic

Hello everyone, I'm not entirely new to Dragonmount, having been a registered member since, I believe, 2000. However, I never posted on the forums and can't remember my old account name and password, so I just had to create a new one. But this site, along with wotmania before it shut down, where my two primary sources of information about the series. I've been a member of several WoT fan sites in the past, but in 2003 I stepped away from them for, what I thought, would be the last time. I had discussed theories to death, and it was right about the time the series had slowed down for me anyway (Crossroads of Twilight came out around that time, if I remember co…

Hi all, Have been prowling the site for the last Age waiting for tidbits on TGS, started reading the books waaaaaaay back when I was about 16, but since Im now 21 that doesn't sound as impressive! the WOT books have been my steadfast companions through thick and thin, even so far as to influence my moods, and definitely got some great dating advice from the three guys back in the first few books! The book could not have come at a worse time as I prepare for an exam (student life - how hard it is!) but some things are definitely more important than a Medical Degree! I'd just like to thank BS for rescuing me from the hopelessness that I felt when I thought that I…

Greetings! Always liked looking at forums and theories and discussing them with my other WoT-fan friends, but since they haven't finished The Gathering Storm yet, I decided to register on here. I've read the series several times, but it's been quite a while now since I've re-read them, so I apologize if I misquote something or have fuzzy recollection of certain events, but I'm looking forward to rereading them yet again and to discuss them with the community here!

Hey All! I've been watching DM from afar now for a couple months and have finally succumbed to the lure of being able to talk to other people about my obsession, one of them anyway as I am obsessed with many fantastical novels and games; WoT (who's surprised?) Sooo.. having said that I hope everyone is friendly, and I look forward to exclaiming over TGS once I read it [c'mon amazon!], and the series in general, with all of you!

Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the site used to be a Wotmania member (long time ago) and just recently found out about you guys here at Dragonmount. I live in London UK and have been a RJ and WoT fan for a very long time. Anyway will be good to reconnect with a WoT community again.

:o I came across this site by accident. UNNECCESSARY EXPLAINATION: I'd spent 4 days getting "scareware" off my teen-age daughter's pc.(Whew!) She uses it as a big iPod. (Go figure :-\) She doesn't know how, or doesn't bother, to configure her pc. I've been cleaning and adding needed programs for security and to ensure she doesn't do it again. I'm not a genius, but it does take an above-average-intelligence person to read WoT books. On that note, I'm going to admit that I'm at a loss as to the PC game Wheel of Time. If there is anyone that can help me figure it out, I'd be very greatful. I'd picked it up at a garage sale and it didn't have any instructions with it.…

Hello-as much as I love the Wheel of Time, I find a distinct lack of hoppy beers in that universe. So I'm hoping at some point to brew up some tasty beverages before Tarmon Gaidon ;) Seriously, I've been lurking on these forums for several years, been reading WoT since 1992. I've re-read the series a couple of times, and will be doing so again after reading Gathering Storm. I-like the rest of you-am seriously geeked out for the release of Book 12 next week. I've been posting on Dragonmount's Facebook forums, but that's merely the minor leagues compared to this site ;) Anyway, thanks for having me on here, and very much look forward to discussing Book 12, the…
