Someone probably already stated this, but I wanted to point out that the ways were tainted from the waygate in Shadar Logoth, NOT from the taint on Sadin. The question I want to consider is will the ways heal now over time? With all the talk of how the ways are somehow an organic thing, it could regrow right?

I was wondering.. A Dreamwalker can change stuff at will,if strong enough. He can make an item appear in his hands. Could Egwene, for example, have an Angreal appear in her hands in order to kick someones ass in The Dream?

When you guys first started reading TWoT did you ever feel like skipping Egwene's POVs after raised amyrlin? Especially that incident *before raised* where she got sucked in Gawyn's dream.. and he killed Rand... I mean he has to be realistic Rand will blow the $h!t out of him... anyway lol.. Right now I'm at chapter 16 in CoT.. which is about another 100pages untill a new POV In my opinion I find her POVs useless and pretty boring, especially with the.. omg i want Gawyn noooowwwwwwww. So I was wondering did you guys ever think that and should I skip her POV?

Some years ago, before WoTC released the WoT d20 game, I was jonesin' for my nerdy fix, and scouring the internet for the perfect Wheel of Time RPG. I found one, used it, loved it, and lost it. Now, years later, my friends and I are playing the d20 version, and there is some stuff from that original I'm trying to incorporate. I can't find it, though. I can't offer much description, but if it's not too much trouble, I'd really love some help finding it. It was a single page, very long with no frills. You chose your homeland, your class or classes, got some skills based on it, and were free to set your character's age, with more skill points coming along with it…

The answer to my question is probably somewhere in the last book but I cannot remember. I am re-reading book 5 (for the 3rd time) and have suddenly noticed that Egeanin has gone... She was there when Elayne / Nynaeve rescued Amathera, but now they are in Amadicia and she has gone - can someone refresh my memory where she went?

I am a big fan of the WoT and have a hard time enjoying any other Sci-Fi and Fantasy anymore as I am always contemplating the next chain of events and story line in the WoT series... I would love to write a Book or two for the series , even tho I am not a Good writer like RJ is. As to that I wonder if I could submit a storyline and add some objects of interest; tho it is likely these suggestions have already been contemplated or a more likely chain of events for the story may have already been written. If I might tho here are 2 Storylines I would like to suggest: (1) I can not help but see Egwen al'Vere getting co-opted by the secret circle of Aes Sedai …

I am being very dumb here, but can someone please confirm that a. Rand is related to Elayne b. If Egwene marries Gawyn, Rand will be distantly related to her c. Rand is now related to Nynaeve (through Lan) ??? This is becoming to sound like Eastenders! Are there any other main characters that are related in this way - is Thom actually Elayne's father?!? (I havent read book 11 yet).

Hey guys got a few questions.. Do you think sulin is Rand's brother because earlier in the series she states he is her first brother.. Do yous think Rhuarc can possibly be his uncle? Do you think anyone in the aiel has a blood connection to him

ok, first off i just want to say that yes i think up weird questions. i tend to think over things people take for granted instead of big plot line things :P note 2, i only have a basic understanding of human biology so please correct me if i'm wrong ok, now... my question is concerning female channelers. in a normal person, i woman starts puberty around 15 (guessing for wot world, not ours) and gets PMS every month till she's around 50 when she gets menopause. a woman will produce fewer than 500 eggs in her life time and these numbers support that (420). now, my question is how is this different for female channelers? i'm going to assume they have the s…

I have been musing about why Damer Flynn was able to attack Demandred during the Cleansing. He was linked to Corele and Sarene. Corele is Flynn's Aes Sedai and Sarene was a White Tower AS. We know that men cannot initiate a circle. It must have been Corele. She would have had to direct the flows against Demandred yet it appears he did so on his own initiative. We know that Elza guided the attack on Dashiva and we know that Eben died becasue he could not channel saidin without the direction of Kumira or Daigian when they were attacked by Arangar. Why can Damer do what the other two could not? Does anyone have a plausible explanation?

Do you go to bed and start mumbling things in your head like you are reading WoT? I, for one, start to have this new symptom, (we shall name it the Wot Syndrome) when i go to sleep, in my head, i will start reading something, not WoT of course, but something similiar, all made up in my head. like, "I turned to sleep on my left shoulder, irritated by the cold wind the tossing has brought in. No, it is not important right now...." haha, I am hopeless. Just wondering if it has happened to others as well.

I noticed something, and wondered if I am mistaken or it is actually the case, and if it is the cse, does it have any ramifications? If, and this is a big if, the ashamen seen walking up the stairs in far madding were the first, in book, manifestation of dead people walking. They would seem to be shadows of the recently dead. It seems like every instance since, puts the ghosts further and further back in time. Recognizable people in So Harbor, and in Rand's hideout. Then an aes sedai seen at the beggining of KoD dead for 100 years or more. Then other instances of ancient ghosts by Valan Luca's troop, and then more ancient ghosts in the white tower during Egwene's…

It's not a huge plot thing but as I was (re) reading CoT I got the distinct impression that Nicola had bonded Areina, without permission of course. Everyone keeps talking about how Nicola keeps trying to push ahead and do things she's not supposed to. Also, Areina wants to be Birgitte and I think she knows Birgitte is Elayne's Warder so it would make sense she wants to be one too. Also this quote reminded me of how Birgitte and Elayne mirror each other emotionally: "Areina ran out of the tent after Nicola, the two women mirror images of disgruntlement and discontent." pg 430 Crossroads of Twilight I'm not sure what impact it would or could have plot wise, I just th…

Just want to point out something (someone has probably already mentioned it), but if you enter Tel'an'rhiod in the flesh, something bad is supposed to happen. Maybe there is a relation to Luc / Isam, Rand's voices, and Tel'an'rhoid? Only thing that does not seem to fit thought is why Egwene has not developed anything like this.

Hey guys im reading CoT chapter 6 scent of a dream.... But don't you guys find perring paranoid now? I mean Faile changed him he stated in the book *checks book* Perrin had a strong sense he also had to be there (TG), was meant to be atleast, but if the Last Battle came soon, he would not be. He had ajob of work in front of him that he could not shrink-would not!- even for Tarmon Gai'don. Ok wtf If he doesn't go to TG I think it was stated rand will lose TG. And if he loses TG no Faile...Not like any of us would really care. why can't he be like rand hit on them a few times and send her away? :P but really, hes way too into it all he gotta do really is con…

I've been thinking that if a WOT movie was ever made, what character can the movie do without, yet still be fairly true to the series? I'm not talking about a character with just a few mentions on one book, or a major character, but someone who has been in 3 or more of the books and makes his or her presence known. I'd have to go with Olver. I don't really think he's Gaidal reincarnated and he served no real purpose, IMO, except to keep Mat in Ebou Dar, when the others left. So who do you think could be left out?

I have and I'm sure others have used sayings from the books to people who haven't read them... A couple of times i've mused to myself 'The wheel weaves as the wheel wills' and people have overheard xD Or told my mate "Work with what you had not what you wish you could have" <-- one of Lini's I believe. I FREQUENTLY use "Bloody and bloody ashes" and "Light" haha xD Any others people have used/can come up with?

In book 4, Hopper tells Perrin that he will run with him in the last battle soon. I was thinking about that... Wow I guess the last battle will be in Tel'aran'rhiod... Then it hit me what that means. If they seal the dark one's prison there... then it would be sealed in ALL other worlds because Tel'aran'rhiod connects to all of them. Although the problem presented itself of stuff done there does not really change anything in the real world. Well, I figure that if you are there in the flesh it very well might stick in the real world. Anyway, just had to share that to see what other people think about it.

Tall blond and scarred but 2 books dead if I remember right. On the other hand Far Madding is a perfect place to hide out for any channeler An interesting paragraph when you add in dizziness too.

Forgive me, I am on my 5th re-read of the series, but have completely failed to bring up the full list of forsaken. I have Asmodean Lanfear Moghedian Lanfear Sammael Rahvin Greandal Aginor Ishamael Damondred but can't remember the rest - I know there were 13 and Lanfear has just mentioned that 4 have fallen to Rand - I know Aginor and Ishamael did, but who are the others? I would be grateful for any help you could give me.

Hat tip to Duggadugga, the Twice marked thread is what put this in my head. The reason that the seals are failing is because the seals were created by just men. That is why the pairing of AS and AM is important, thats what it took to Clense the male half. We have seen a few instances that when working together using both sides of the source can accomplish great things. I think that was LTT's failure, he couldn't get the women onboard so all he was able to do is buy time instead of resealing the DO. In order for Rand to properly seal the bore is by destorying the existing seals and fixing it properly useing both sides of the Source. Sorry in advance if this has been t…

The Age of Legends (called the Second Age by some) had the One Power to "fuel" non-polluting technology, and no Bore. The WOT is set in the next Age (called the Third Age by some), apparently at the end of that Age; saidar is available but saidin is tainted, and the Bore is patched; mankind is in retreat and mostly "Middle Ages" technology. There are definite indications that a new Age will start in the aftermath of TG, presumably in the ending of aMoL. What will the new Age be like? No, I don't expect the "Fourth Age" to resemble our own world. Because of the numbers of red herrings in the series so far, I think in terms of (1) expected, (2) possible, and (3) spe…

in WoT, there are kitchens, wash stands, bathtubs, bedrooms, etc, what happened to the restrooms? Not that its important. I think RJ just didn't want to deal with everyone taking a piss in every chapter after drinking so much punch and wine. by the way, how long has it been since Rand left the Two River?(I am reading WH) if i remember correctly, it was winter when they first left, then there was this unbearable summer heat which lasted forever until Elayne and Nynaeve found the bowl. But i am sure it has been longer than a year. Much longer.

What if when Moriane tore off the bracelet angreal before she pushed Lanfear through the doorway that is the reason Cyndane is weaker is that that always was her real strength That in living memory she had always had the angreal The mention of the bracelet there always was kind of out of place
