Hemoglobin is part of the red blood cells and carries iron I believe. Low hemoglobin is usually indicative of Anaemia which can be a side effect of the chemotherapy as it inhibits your bodies ability to produce more red blood cells. No sure about the ulcers. Update for tonight is that they think she's too weak for them to start the 2nd round of chemo tomorrow. They'll decide tomorrow morning.

Not a White Tower member but felt it would be okay, as this is on the public board, to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. Hopefully someday they'll find a cure for cancer, it is a terrible disease that can take anyone, at any age, with little notice.

 

It's painful to loose them but they will always live on in the memories they leave with those who remain behind. Treasure the good times you had! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
