We´ve had thunder here today. I like thunder and lightning. But not if it gets too close. What about you?

I just pray the power stays on, but we have lots of storms. I used to like them better but now I prefer like in defending your life, 73 and sunny every day. And I stay inside lol.

I'll be frying ours on the griddle before I cook the pancakes. Health food.

Never eaten spam. What is it? 

It's a pork product that's like a cross between bologna and ham. It comes in a can and you can slice it up and fry it, or dice it up or mash it up and use it any way you'd use any meat. 

 

Its not bad and easier to cook than bacon. Certainly less pricey.

Spam comes in different flavor varieties now.

I don´t think we have spam here in the Land of the polar bears. We do have bacon though. ? 

 

Whenever I eat bacon I think about a BLT sandwich that I ate in Atlanta when I visited JordanCon many years ago. I knew that Americans love bacon but then I got to see how much. It was a tiny bread with very little lettuce and two slices of tomatoes. And then there was this giant pile of bacon on top of it. It was very crispy so I couldn´t use a fork. So I had to eat the bacon by hand. It´s not what I´m used to in a restaurant. lol It tasted very good though.

Mmmmmm BLTs are the best. I like mine with avocado.

I've never tried that. My latest obsession is halloumi burgers. 

Is that a burger made of halloumi or topped with it? Sounds nommy either way.

 

its too hot to cook today so I have chicken and blue potatoes and sweet potatoes and giant green onions and beets in the slow cooker. I might make watermelon ice or I might just eat the watermelon.

That's a lot of cheese. I may have to try it.
