I´ve never even thought about doing hamburger buns myself. As usual, I´m impressed.

It´s sunny outside. It´s supposed to be warm for at least a week. I don´t like too warm weather but it would be fun to be able to swim in the lake at least one time this summer.

BRB, moving in with Cindy and Basel and gaining 80 pounds.

You need a bigger freezer. :)

 

We have a great lake not too far away and the ocean isn't that far away either, but I prefer the lake. 

I think we have to reorganize the freezers. I'm sure there's more room in there somewhere. 

Growing up my parents used to have a deep freeze.

Is that like a walk in freezer? We have a chest freezer and an upright, plus the one on top of the fridge. I'm nit sure they're deep freezes tho.

The deep freeze was a freezer about waist high with a lid that lifted.

 

 

My parents have 3 of those deep/chest freezers... all full of food. I swear they'll be sorted for two years with no purchases. 

 

One good thing about today: 

I cleaned the bedrooms really well, and started making space for a baby bed ? I think this is what's called nesting lol.

 

Another thing: 

I keep looking at houses being sold, knowing full well we can't afford anything like that for at least another 2-3 years (and that's the optimistic prospect).

Ah ya, that's our chest freezer then.

Ive been watching a lot of tiny house YouTubes. It's not something I could do but there are some families that make it work beautifully for themselves. 

 

In in the meantime there's always the consolation of not having to move. 

I think I could do the tiny house thing if it was just me, but with more people I couldn't do it. I need my alone time and private space at times, so having rooms to choose from is key.

Today I did. It was wonderful! We will have this warm weather for three more days so I hope to do it again at least one more time this summer.
