Oh! I see what you mean, as opposed to .pat files, you mean art that can duplicate over large areas. If you have the art, it's pretty easy to make into a pattern for such products.

So the best way to do this is to start with the image you want. Once you have created it, enlarge your canvas and set it in a pattern that would work in a repeating manner. if you have the images set its isn't difficult to arrange if you need help. ❤️

good going, when i made patterns in past i tended to not have them end in halfway through tiles...because i didnt have to wrap my head around making it work out from all angles

yeah i want to make a tartan for my company. sis had been doing some genealogy and found out we're a heck lot more scottish than we ever thought.  

Omg I'm so sorry! I swear my head was thinking tartan, but my fingers just went their own way...probably because my head said logically you were making a kilt from it.. Are you actually gonna make the tartan? Color and wove it?
