How is it that we have over 10 new members since I've joined, but the only other aspies are @Phaedra, who was here before me and therefore doesn't count (for this specific question -- I didn't mean to insult you), and @StarRisk? Where did they all go?

often times people join but never begin their studies or never attend their classes. the lists mark who join not who all are active participating members. essentially they just click 'join club' and thats as far as they go. 

Huh. Why would they join the club if they never participate? People are a mystery.

indeed they are. 

 

i think sometimes they don't fully know what the club's about. or just do it as a marker for the future. there's no accounting for reasons of others. 

I concur ? Also, I blame everything on Covid these days! 

Some start posting too but then other stuff happen, and they drift away.

 

 

I think there is a simple point of 'accessibility'. It's a bit difficult to navigate all the things without at least some knowledge or understanding how the forum and clubs work. It is something that is in discussion, but can't be easily changed at this time. 

People are lazy. If they don't see it, chances are they aren't likely to seek it out on a daily basis and then it doesn't become part of their routine. 

There's also @Alcalimo Ehtelion who's participating with us to the Escape Room game ?

 

As people said above, so many things can happened to us, outside of DM. Some of them could be very busy at the moment and could return later.

hahaha some people tried to kick Reds but I have heard that they ended up in their dungeons ?

 

(... I ended up there for painting their halls pink, true story).

Zyida is busy with her University work, but she'll be around when she catches her breath.

I will see about a newbie intro post, give em step by steps to navigating DM, especially first go round. 

 

I love exploring, so it was just clicking around, listening in as it were, and jumping in where I was drawn to.
