I came to notice that a lot of stories I read / watch either happen in cities or in forest.

It's only very rarely that beaches or even sea worlds are mentioned.

So,

In this thread, let's chat, obsess, share our favorite stories

that happen in such worlds !

I'll start ?

When it comes to sea worlds - I really recommend Katya's World.

This sci-fi story takes place on a planet completely covered by water.

Katya's a very young submarine pilot who will be caught in very strange events on her very first mission ?

For beaches, I could talk about the Pirates of Caribbean... but  I watched these movies so many times that I got a bit tired of them ?

The first one was very cool, the first time  I saw it lol

Pirates of the Caribbean is great. The first movie was probably the best, but I still love the "I've got a jar of dirt!" from the third? one.

Davy Jones was a pretty cool antagonist ?

I have heard that Disney's working on a new one... I wonder what they have in store for us O.O

He was. Barbosa was more interesting, in my opinion, but DJ was still cool.

Ooo! I hadn’t heard that. Hopefully it’s going to be good!

oh and speaking of boats... ships... vessels ... XD i have another one to share. Since I haven't had the courage to ready Moby Dick just yet, the movie In the Heart of the Sea was very nice (it was one of the first 3D movies I watched in the cinema). All that water in 3D was very impressive ?... the rest of the story too ofc

Corto Maltese, that rings a bell! I didn't know it was a cartoon as well ?

I wanted to share this one I just watched :

Had lot of fun watching it with the girls. I thought it would be a remake of the little mermaid but it was much more that that ?
