So help me, I'm joining Dragonmount

I thought about signing up a long time ago, when the TV forum was still only 4-5 total pages. I don't know why I think there's anything I could add now. ?

I only started Wheel of Time a couple years ago, but I love it. My favorite fantasy series. I've read the whole series twice, and got half-way through a third time. Then watched the series, and had to go back to read book one again to cleanse the taint that left in my mind. So, that's my story.

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
