This is at least the 2nd time you've referenced Zander as the vig.  How have you arrived at that?  Is it just his post where he mentioned vengeance or something?

I'm not quite sure if it's one or both and if they're the same or different if the town player with the PR dies. But iirc it's a x 1 vig shot which is basically a Villager with a NK like a Wolf they can use once per game themselves and hopefully try and kill a Wolf and not a Villager.  A watcher chooses a target and sees if that player visits another player.  So in this game if the watcher chose the Wolf who submitted the NK who see that player visit the person the killed and know they're a Wolf.  Only issue with Watcher is if we have both the Watcher and a Vig and he choose the Vig and would look the same as the Wolf submitting the NK but he only sees he visited that person but not their alignment like a Cop.

Eh, don't worry about win rate discussions.  My win rate on DM is probably amazing (I used to win all the time maybe 15-18 years ago, but that means absolutely nothing.  I'm still prone to play like a moron and be lolverbal.

I bussed Lenlo real bad one time we were Wolf Wolf so yes this could be applicable here but it's not but only because I know I'm Town lol

I was going to do a town to scum list, but what strikes me is it's not so much anyone looks scummy right now rather than me being annoyed with Zander's playstyle, which I think is not indicative of his alignment.

 

There are some people who are more quiet who are easily under the radar (even with legitimate reasons for being quiet) and no matter their alignment they aren't gonna get voted today (e.g. Cass, Cairos, etc)

Absolutely possible, yes.  This is why I like the idea of lynching one and having our watcher (or whatever town investigative role we have) peek the other.

 

But with these roles, watcher will only tell us who visited someone if that person died. And the person who visited them could be mafia or vigilante, and not clear to me if we'd know what the person's role was, or just who person that visited was.

That only applies if there are 2 deaths, since theres no world where scum holds their N1 shot in a game with no doctor. From there we talk about who we think was the scummier shot and which was likely to be shot by a towny.

Plus it's worth noting, the Watcher is replaceable, so we're not at risk of losing that information if *they* get shot, right? I assume the new watcher gets access to all of the old watchers... watches?

But watcher still needs to pick the right person to watch (e.g. someone who gets killed) otherwise we get no info. It's a hard role!

I have no idea, I've never played a replaceable role before, I just thought that went *with the role*. Someone who has can correct me, this is all conjecture.
