I didn't talk about mechanics.  I talked about theme and whether it could be used to break the game. I said I didn't think it could because Ithi works hard to prevent that ( I have changed my mind on this but will not go there because I feel it is against the spirit of the game). However, I also asked myself a question about mechanics and theme. Who is bothered by it more? I argue mafia don't want to discuss theme because they are afraid of exactly the thing I talked about. The possibility of a way for townies to recognise each other based on information the mafia don't have. I have been in games where it became impossible for mafia to hide due to town "codes" if you will.

That this was nearly the same way it went when I asked Key for her reasons is troubling.  They may be the only two that directly sussed people for mentioning theme, and both used the incorrect term of mechanics to do so.

 

Waiting for the "mechanics is just distraction" argument. We have until Friday. There is plenty of time to talk about many things.  It is generally more important to look at the why and how of discussion than just if it happened or who initiated it.

It was feeling weird. It was in the moment too over the top ( even for you). Only in reread did it become apparent what you doing. If you really want quotes lemme know. It was basically every time you said that you were lock clear because you said so (paraphrasing).

I'm leaning Wolf but not sold on it.  I don't know why but I feel there's a weird connection (not all Wolves but like maybe a Wolf trying to I forget the term but like connect a Townie to them in case they flip and we think it's W/W or something) between you Darthe and DPR.  I've already stayed I don't believe you and Darthe are W/W but I'm struggling to see all 3 being Town.  Prolly like Darthe You then DPR from least to most likely.  But like you and Darthe are pretty neck and neck imo and if one flips Wolf maybe lolme but I prolly consider the other spewed basically lol
