I asked DPR, who replied fairly quickly but also didn't seem thrilled. 

I didn't have to ask Key. She saw part of my talking to Zander, figured it out and replied like a champ (she is also the only one who clearly did the recommended reading).

I just wanted to say thank you to you guys for these posts <3, you are all very sweet and I love that we can attack each other in game but have each other's backs when it comes to real world stuff, especially when we may not know each other's real names lololol. It's all just gameplay, though, it's not personal even when we're "attacking" you or anyone else. I know that can be hard to remember though, especially if you feel like you've explained yourself well and people just take it in a direction you didn't expect.

Somewhat hard to put into words?  Do they seem like they trying to solve the game? Are they twisting what other people say? Their use of language, are they hedging, etc. Would their game play be good for a wolf team that is trying to stay in the game but has to hide, and yes, meta. It is nuanced for sure and practice generally makes better lol. I know you're a parent -- maybe think about it like these random folks online are trying to talk to your kids and you need to sus out whether they are regular people that get the okay or scary peeps that you need to protect your kids from.

 

Bold - To me it comes down to a) how you defend yourself and b) do I see the defense as something that would be positive for the wolf team.

 

To me everyone is town until they've done something to make me think they aren't.  Innocent until proven guilty and all that I guess.  Maybe it's just my positive outlook on life - we had to do these Clifton Strengths assessments at work to identify our top 10 strengths and my number one was positivity.

I didn't quote all the Turin/Z back and forth because I think Turin is town based on his hints and his double triple quadruple quintupling down on needing the "I'm town" statement.  I don't see it being pro wolf, especially as it has obviously attracted much attention. To be fair, atp it's not pro town either because Z is so laser focused here.

Thing is you you hinted at/implied a boatload of different things then say well I didn't say I was actually them?!????  Dude it's nothing but WIFOM in any world you're a Villager here hopefully this will teach you never to do this again.  You doubled down on a bunch of stuff you had a chance to try and clarify or drop but nope kept it up.  Now I at least and others too either legitimately don't believe you (if you're a Wolf or you made it 100% easy for a Wolf to jump on you and make it near impossible to clean which are Wolves that did so provided you are Town.  Like I don't wanna sound mean here but if you're somehow a Villager and I cannot see any world you are playing this way, you need to please never do this again.  You've created so much confusion, discord, WINFOM ITT it's impossible for me and likely others who are actually Town to ever reevaluate or be able to come to a different conclusion.  In over 100 Plus Mafia I've never seen a Town player do this .  So occums razor and common sense state you have to be a Wolf.

Like seriously if he's a Villager I'm literally gonna have to stay away from the thread awhile so I don't say anything that's insulting or gets me in trouble. Absolutely nothing he's done is Towny except maybe confirm suspicion/theory I had irt  to someone else and if that's wrong will he likely got another Townie killed FML

@Gudrean It's my first game with Gud and her third game. Multiple players that have played with her before are suspicious of her, so it would be counterproductive to not listen to them. I need to reread her posts because there was something she said in the last 24 hours that made me wonder how she knew it, but I need to find it. It wasn't damning, just subtle, but it stuck out to me. 

 

@keyholder21 and @Hallia have both been fairly inactive. I've seen posts from both that I *felt* like were posts for the sake of posting moreso than actual content. But, I do also understand that it's d1, that the post count has been a PITA to keep up with (looking at you Turin) and that they may very well kick into gear later in the game. @Verbal32 and @dicetosser1 are both doig what they normally do. Low activity because of work is nothing new for them. They'll be easier to read on d2 and d3. 

 

@Cass So far she has taken up the least amount of my thinking this game. I don't love some of her posts, but whatevs, d1, etc. Her following Darthe's vote on Turin bothered me because it came directly after his weird post, as if she understood what he was saying. She didn't give reasons or info, just hopped on that train. That bugged me. 

 

At this point, I'm looking to Zander more than anyone else for his reactions. That's what I got.  

 

 

Re: darthe, DPR.  Didn't you vote him earlier because you said he "showed his ass"?  AND when you unvoted you didn't state anything regarding a change of mind on him, rather you said it was "while we sort this out" or something along those words.   How does voting him fit in with "it's a little early to call" between wolf/town?

Re darthe, Verb - he's one of the most vocal people in the game so there's PLENTY to go on and this one thing is what you've focused on? That's weak sussing, imo.
