Him listing his top tier town, mid tier, low tier would follow along with that and a follow up vote would make sense. But as soon as you (Zander) revealed, he peeled off of you and went in for Turin.

 

But he said he was core building, and he didn't have to do that - he could've just rolled with Wild Darthe on D1 and nobody would've blinked, so why did he say the thing about building a core?

Throwing shade at me over "mechanics" is contrived and just brings up the ghosts of hundred games that have nothing to do with this one. It struck me as labeling and a cheap shot. When you backed right off of it you looked worse imo. There is no actual reasoning there, or if I'm missing it, you're welcome to explain it.

Everytime I read a DPR response I feel like he responds without really answering the question yet posts in a very convincing way he did?!???  It both hurts my brain and is extremely impressive lololololol

I think Cory used to build a core that worked like a charm. As long as he had enough players in the game he knew how to read. 
 

This is a bunch of folks coming back from multi-years hiatus and nobody is really solid on readings right now. 
 

So I figure I’ll make observations as I see them and hopefully that’ll click with other players that see the same thing. 
 

Turin is playing a little too hard and multiple folks have called him wolfy. I’m not opposed to this. 
 

Darthe is always confusing on D1 and he and I tend to go back and forth to try and shake something loose, and because it’s fun. 
 

Key is nervous which may or may not be a good thing.

 

Verb is absent, but that’s not uncommon during the work week. 
 

So we’ll see. I do have Gud in a solid town read. But why isn’t she posting?

No, no, I get his point, and I don't think he's got a read from it.  He's questioning why I am approaching the game in a way that's somewhat inconsistent with my stated goal.  It's a fair question, but there are two factors to the answer.  One of them will be perceived as less townie though it isn't, but I'ma give both factors anyhow. 

First, because you hunt from both ends.  My town core is shaping up nice.  Zander, Key, Seph (perhaps).  We're gettin there.  Finding suspects is just as good as finding clear villagers or better.

Second, because inconsistency is part of being a person.  I slept, or had a bad meeting, or something between one thought and the next.  It doesn't really need an explanation usually.

Yeah he's got a real polished way of writing.  Part of his charm.
