I've been reading and surfing around DM for a few years and I finally decided I wanted to be able to throw my two cents into whatever was going on in the forums and the RJ Blog. Just a tad about myself. I'm in the US Army, and I'm currently serving on my 2nd deployment to Iraq. I'm originally from Texas, and I've been happily married for 2 1/2 years now to my wife Stenia. No kids, unless you count cats/dog. I love the WoT and I've begun reading it through a second time in preparation for a MoL's release. I'm a big fan of the entire theorizing that is done with this series, and my only regret is that I didn't get into it sooner. Thanks, and I'll see y'all around.

Welcome to DM!!! We’re glad to have you….please make your self comfortable. There is lots to do here and you’ll quickly learn your way around. I promise. *winks*

Make sure you check out he White Tower Org…visit the Reds, they’ll give you lots of Snugglebites. 

Also the Illiuminators Org is amazing!!! I love it because that is where all the creative people hang out. There are place for those who like graphic design, writing, or crafty stuff like candle making or soaping!!

Get invovled with whatever you'd like...

Welcome to DM!

It sounds as if the Book Discussion area is going to be right up your street!

Also, why not look at what else DM has to offer! The ORGs allow you to meet fellow DMers who have similar interests to you, while the RP side allows you to descend into RJ's world of WoT!

ORG wise, the Band of the Red Hand is a must to check out. We are DM's very own music and travel ORG, with some hot discussions on the way! We have loads of fun as well, so do pop by our boards and have a look for yourself!

Whatever you end up doing here at DM, have fun!  :)

hey welcome to DM Jarred.

It's great to see another Army guy here, we seem to have gained a few lately which is great.

Well I hope you enjoy the book discussions, they are fun. If you want to dive into the Orgs, the heart of the community of DM then please we would love to see you.

I would like to recommend the Wolfkin, and relaxed, fun and we are the home of Chilli, TQ (in fact we have our own TQ lake and monster called Larry). Pirates and Cheerleaders. We are the Nature Org, and love more than just wolves, so pop by and get yourself a lovely welcome.

Well Corki has already mentoned the band so I well Second that one.

The seanchan is for your TV, Films and Games.

Talking of games we have our own Oganised game  Board. For many forum games plus the home of out own versions of the mafia games.

SO hope to see you around the boards, Welcome again.

Welcome to DM, Jarred. First of all, let me say thank you for your service to our country. People like you make it possible for people like me to tuck our kids into bed at night and feel safe. You and your military brothers and sisters are in the thoughts and prayers of folks across the nation! ;D

Back on subject...........let me second Corki's invitation to you to come on over and check out the Band of the Red Hand. We have a great time with our brews and our brawls, and I'm sure that you would fit right in! We would love to have you join us!

Welcome to Dragonmount! Dragonmount is a wonderful community place where people from all over the world really enjoy coming together. I’m Aleita and am the newest Wise One Apprentice of the Aiel Org. The  organisations are a really wonderful way to get to know other members here. So please pop by and say hello to us! We’re a very friendly bunch.

If you have any questions or queries about the Aiel or Dragonmount in general please feel free to send me a PM. :)

Hi Jarred! Luv the handle, btw. Thanks for serving *hugs*.

I'm retired AF myself. If you ever want just a quiet chat by the fire with an ale and a pipe of good tabac, come on over to the Ogier Org. Of course we also have the warrior training ground, if you need to work out with an ancient weapon.

But, if you want to streak the Houses or throw pie in the novice quarters, you'll have to join the White Tower org.  ;D

Whoot Texas!

Let's see... Talya mentioned games, Corki the books...

If you feel the need to get into touch with your silly side search out 12th... or visit us in Fiddlesticks.

Take your time, browse around. The people are great. :P

Damn, beaten to the Fiddles plug by one post! Fiddlesticks is a great place for kicking back in an atmosphere of ... of ... well it's a great place! A bit random, if that's your thing. The organised games board grew out of the Fiddles community. Heh. Order from chaos.

You'll find the community at DM really easy to get into. Do check out the orgs as well as the book discussion. Apart from that, welcome! Consider yourself hugged.
