Hi boys, girls and stabby people ;)

 

CotS and all its groups will be celebrating Halloween in all its menacing glory next week, giving us some sweet opportunities to RP, recruit some more friendly foes, skip requirements, use pointy things... the usual. :P

 

What I'd in mind for the Darkfriends was to have a combination of both IC and OOC activities. I know there aren't many of us, which is why this can be a good time to start changing things. I'm happy to work with any suggestions people have on how we can develop what I have, which is basically combining the OOC and IC so that they're dependent on each other.

 

What could happen:

 

1. Your character, if you sign up, will be found in an unfortunate situation IC, such as for example, being gagged and tied in a room that has been set on fire. The only way to advance through the mess would be to use your wits OOC, and answer some good Halloween trivia questions. For every correct answer, you will complete one requirement for your Darkfriend.

 

2. The other, RP specific idea is to unleash a festival purely devoted to followers of the Dark Lord, to celebrate this day as a way to mark the DF territory and the strength that lies in the Dark. We can come up with a cool name(any takers on this challenge? Tongue) and have fun IC, interacting with people we've previously not met with. Masquerade ball, anyone?

 

3. All Darkfriends are welcome to make themselves nifty sigs/avatars based on famous Halloween characters. I'll post up a few sigs soon that'll be available for anyone to use. :D

DS? Err, do you mean Dreadlords? Seeing as the Dreads might have their own RPs coming up, I don't think so, but if not, I'll talk to Quibby and Ata and see what we can do. :D

 

i dont see why they cant partake the thing is its a req offer from DF...as long as vera dont mind the extra guests, for geting the same credit as the DFs though you would need Q's aproval

Speaking of, where would i need to start as a new Dreadlord? I'm a bit in the Dark (pun intended) as to how i can best intro her, as she doesn't know she can channel yet and hasn't been tested.

dreadlords can start as darkfriends and be played as that for a while before transfering into dreadlords, or start directly from the bio into the dreadlord ranks of intiates
