Mateo was on a mission this morning. He had gotten up early and was on his way to practice and set up for his mentee to come out with him. He wanted things to be just right when he brought him out to train. He had the perfect place he wanted to use. He'd been there many times in the past and it always proved an interesting spot.

Pulling his dark cloak around him he searched the area with his cold blue eyes. He'd gotten more that one strange look because of his eyes. They had always had an icy look to them. His black hair made them stand out even more and the scar above his eye made people focus their attention of them. In the field he had come to he noticed a horse standing alone in the distance. He walked slowly towards the horse and when he reached it he slowly patted it on the neck.

The horse must have run away from someone, he wasn't afraid of Mateo and a wild horse would have run. Mateo spoke gently to the horse and began leading him towards the Stables at the Tower.

OOC: Hope you like it let's make this fun.

Horsey was grazing in the field at the time. Tar Valon grass was so much better than that almost brown stuff down in Ghealdean. It was more moist and full of flavour. Yes in all his years searching for grass he had never found any better than that in this field. Although the grass over that hill over there would be better. It had better sun and its grass was even greener than this one. Getting up he started over the hill, he needed the best grass to keep his energy up. Trotting over the hill he started feeding again. After a while he noticed a man standing at the far end of the field. The man started to slowly approach him, Horsey raised his head and stared off into the distance. This man was below his notice, but if he didn't leave Horsey's field soon Horsey might have to make him.

The man continued to approach, Horsey pawed the ground and directed his attention to the man. He seemed calm enough, not flighty like most of the humans he came into contact with. Maybe Horsey would let him approach, it wasn't as if Horsey couldn't get away if he wanted to, and kicking was always an option. The man reached him and Horsey allowed him to pat his neck. Well he was at least being polite, whickering Horsey nosed the man. Well he didn't have food, the man began to murmur softly. He knows how to talk properly too, none of that pointless high volume stuff. Now the man was trying to lead him off somewhere, well it had been a while since he had found a nice human and this one was exactly that. Couldn't hurt to follow him for a while at least could it.
